I'm quite liking the new rules, but it does feel a bit like everyone is fighting with rubber weapons especially ranged attacks.
I'd like to propose a house rule that puts some danger back into combat without having to track stat reductions and the need to have a bunch of flesh wound markers following your gangers around the board.
● All hits that wound an already injured character now have +1 Lethality.
● If a ranged attack hits and wounds a seriously injured character this becomes +2 Lethality instead.
● When making a "coup de grace" you may add any strength bonus that one melee weapon you are carrying or use the strength stat of any light weapon you are carrying when making the opposed strength test, you may also roll a number of dice equal to the Lethality stat of that weapon and pick the highest one as your result.
This should keep things fairly streamlined, but also have some more danger to fighting also removes the imagery of a fanatic with an eviscerator deciding wrestle arround with a downed opponent instead of just chopping him up.
