If you still miss Mint like I do here is the research I did between other net worth tracking apps
Mint had a peculiar talent: making people emotionally attached to an account aggregator.
Not because it was flawless, there were connection problems, questionable transaction categories and offers for financial products you weren’t shopping for. But opening one dashboard and seeing your financial life come together was useful. Watching years of progress accumulate was the part worth keeping.
Replacing that turns out to be several different problems since everyone had different needs: some people miss the budget, others miss the transaction history, and the rest just want to see everything they own, subtract everything they owe, and watch the line move.
Disclosure: I work with 8FIGURES, which is included below.
| App | Where it fits | The trade-off to consider |
|---|---|---|
| Monarch Money | Budgeting, transactions, household finances and net worth in one dashboard | A subscription makes more sense if you’ll use the broader money-management features. |
| Quicken Simplifi | Spending plans, recurring bills, cash-flow projections and financial tracking | Worth considering if managing the month matters as much as tracking the long-term number. |
| Copilot Money | Spending, budgets, investments and net worth across web and Apple devices | Check device support; its investment history starts when accounts connect, without historical backfill. |
| Empower Personal Dashboard | Free account aggregation, net worth, investment and retirement tools | Distinguish the free dashboard from Empower’s separate advisory offering. |
| Fidelity Full View | Free consolidation of Fidelity and outside accounts, with spending tools | Particularly relevant if Fidelity is already part of your financial setup; check your outside connections. |
| Kubera | Tracking varied assets, international accounts and more complex wealth | A paid wealth tracker makes more sense when asset complexity is the problem you’re solving. |
| YNAB | Deliberate budgeting, with net worth reporting and tracking accounts | Investment tracking requires maintenance; choose it because you want its budgeting approach. |
| Tiller | Automated financial data feeding spreadsheets you control | You get flexibility, plus responsibility for how the spreadsheet works. |
| Origin | Financial tracking alongside budgeting, planning and AI guidance | Check which services and subscription features you’ll actually use. |
| 8FIGURES | Free net worth and portfolio tracking across assets, with position-level IRR | Its focus is investments and asset performance; optional AI advice costs extra. It serves a different need from a household budgeting app. |
Before moving everything, test the boring stuff: your actual banks, historical data, manual assets, export options and the renewal price. A beautiful net worth tracker that can’t connect your main account is an expensive wallpaper.
