What Marvel Characters is currently dead that you wish were brought back
These Marvel Characters are some of characters from Marvel Comics that I would like to see come back first and the characters show in the picture of this post are Jack Flag, Valkyrie (Brunnhilde), Goliath (Bill Foster), Abner Jankins (Mach, Formerly Beetle), Thunderstrike (Eric Masterson), Phyla Vell (the 616 version of the character because the Phyla Vell currently seen the comics is a different version of the character from an alternate universe) Nomad (Jack Monroe, Eric O’Grady, Rita Demara, Swordsman (Jacques Duquesne) and Mattie Franklin. Just to let you know, it can be any character not just the onces shown in the pictures of this post.

Reading on phone
So I’ve been trying to find copies of Hickmans Fantastic Four run but there’s some that I simply can’t locate or get for a decent price, so I was considering buying them online and reading them on my phone. I’ve only ever bought physical copies before, how does this compare? Is it worth it or should I not bother?

I love this panel of Quinten getting humbled by cap
Quinten sometimes gets on my nerves, acting like he did no wrong, which is satisfying when cap humbles him. Also, is it just me or the x men feel like self entitled jerks in recent stories.

Spider-Man that actually Aged
Has Marvel ever done a line of Spider-Man comics that retold the story starting from the 1960s and realistically had him age as time went on?
Like by the time he meets Venom in the 1980’s, it’s been a little over 20 years since he started being Spider-Man
They could write it so that the stories mostly center on street/corporate crime along with other real world issues and the occasional super villain that changes things up every now and then.
Kind of like how the Batman animated series from the 1990s had a lot of stories primarily focusing on street crime committed by gangs.
I know that it’s a joke at this point that Peter has to always be a miserable teenager, but I think having something like “the Life of Spider-Man“ would be a neat limited series.
Could have each major arc take place after a five-year jump. Arc 1 1962, Arc 2 1967, Arc 3 1972, etc.
It would certainly be an interesting way to recontextualize his rogue gallery.
Maybe introduce someone like Ben Reilly in the 1970’s as a mentee little brother figure who’s basically 10 years younger than Peter, and later on have Miles Morales in the 2000’s who takes on the mantle from Ben, while the story still is primarily from Peter’s perspective in his 60’s, acting as a conclusion for the series.
In fact, if he’s 16 in 1962 and if the story ended in 2011, Peter would be 62 years old. That’d be a perfect ending

What's your favorite line up in any X-Men/Mutant story and what would be your dream team if you could pick any mutant characters from Marvel?

Is Fanhome a good option for comic collectors?
I keep getting ads for this comic subscription. They do partner and sell official marvel merchandise, sending subscribers comics every month of overarching story lines etc but I’m curious if there’s anyone here who’s actually used it. Online I’m reading a lot of mixed feelings saying it’s scammy in the way they cut up stories to keep you paying longer but I’m seeing they are offering full stories in less time than what people are mentioning? Let me know if you have any information on this!

Why is the Spider-Man/Deadpool modern era collection so hard to find?
Spiderman and Deadpool have a trilogy of modern era epic collections (with an optional team-up prequel) that I reeeally want to complete. I currently have the first one, “Isn’t it Bromantic”, and I can find the third one (Road trip) online very frequently but can’t find the second (Till death do us..) for the life of me! Does anyone know why the second volume of the collections is so rare? The only ones I can find are second hand with prices closer to $150USD while standard prices are $45. Are retailers out of print and are they planning another printing? Why specifically the second volume— honestly if anyone finds any trustworthy online stores I’d also be sooo grateful since I’m not experienced in the online comic buying space

Maximum X-Men
Hello All. Just wondering what the thoughts are on this series? From comments I’ve seen on Midnight, that’s a “Meh” at best. Is this intended to be a standalone series that becomes the main X-Men title?

Are the X-Men really Marvel’s greatest team? 👀
When it comes to Marvel Comics, are the X-Men really THAT far ahead of everybody else?
I’m talking about everything: storytelling, character development, iconic villains, team dynamics, legendary comic runs, cultural impact, and overall legacy.
The Avengers obviously have the MCU behind them, and the Fantastic Four are literally Marvel’s First Family. But when we’re talking strictly comics, I feel like the X-Men have a pretty strong argument for being Marvel’s greatest team.
So what do y’all think? Which Marvel team deserves the throne?

Midnight Spider-man vs Spine-tingling Spider-man
After hearing the hype around the midnight series Issue 1 didn't really move the needle for me. I get it, Spider-man origin issue with a twist requires build up but.... Spine-tingling Spider-man hooked me instanty. It instantly took me to a creep and darky place and I always recommend it to others.
Anyone read both of these guys and have any thoughts? I'm giving Midnight Spider-man 2 more issues or I'll probably skip this.

The 60s era of Marvel was honestly darker than DC at the time.

Reading Marvel Civil War, I smiled when I saw this moment.
Frank Castle is usually all about lethal force and zero tolerance, but seeing him carry Peter here without saying a word—and then refusing to fight back when the rest of Captain America's Secret Avengers try to kick him out—shows how much quiet respect he actually has for Spider-Man. One of the best character dynamics in the whole event.

Midnight Ares
After reading all three Midnight comics, I realized just how much potential Ares has in this universe. They could make him a truly dark god of war not just another Greek god, but an embodiment of war itself fear, rage, blood, and chaos. I’d especially love to see them do something with his sons, Phobos and Deimos, who embody fear and terror. They would fit the atmosphere of Midnight perfectly. They could even be made part of Ares’s arsenal, or something like weapons through which he affects people. If Midnight does start introducing gods, what do you think they could be like?

If you could write an Avengers comic run, what would your team look like, and who would be your main villain?
Here is my multi-issue Event-Arc concept and dream roster!
The Main Antagonist:
An evil variant of David Haller (Legion) who has a dangerous level of control over his reality-warping powers and multiple personalities.
The Roster & Team Dynamics:
Spider-Man (Leader): An older, wise CEO of Parker Industries (Tobey Maguire No Way Home vibe) who acts as the moral anchor.
Young Iron Man: A tech prodigy mentored by Peter Parker, building his own suit at Parker Labs.
Doctor Doom: Seeking true redemption after losing Valeria; forms a close bond with Tony Stark and Peter.
Nova (Richard Rider): The cosmic heavyweight and Earth's link to the stars.
Silver Surfer: Cosmic philosopher and loyal ally to Nova.
Vision: A synthetic humanoid created mid-story by Doom, Tony, and Silver Surfer to track reality breaches.
Magik ("M2"): Mystical heavy-hitter brought in to tear through Haller's reality warping.
Moon Knight ("M2"): Magik's partner/lover, tactical brawler, and psychic shield against mental manipulation.
The Story Arc (How the Team Comes Together):
Act 1: The New York Dynamic & Doom’s Redemption
The MCU Role-Reversal:
Peter Parker runs Parker Industries and recruits a brilliant young Tony Stark (Young Iron Man). Tony builds his suit, learns Peter is Spider-Man, and they start fighting crime together in NY.
Doom's Broadcast:
Following a tragedy in Latveria resulting in Valeria's death, Doctor Doom broadcasts a message to the world: he acknowledges his past mistakes and offers his resources and genius to aid global heroes.
The Union:
As strange dimensional glitches appear, Peter trusts his moral intuition and reaches out to Doom. Young Iron Man and Doom bond instantly as tech prodigies, with Tony trusting Doom implicitly.
Act 2: Cosmic Convergence & The Creation of Vision
The Inciting Incident:
Haller’s powers trigger a cosmic breach (e.g., an invasion from the Negative Zone/Annihilus). Spider-Man calls his old friend Nova.
Nova & Silver Surfer:
Nova arrives with the Silver Surfer (Backstory: Nova used the Xandarian Worldmind to help Surfer break free from Galactus). Together, they push back the invasion.
Creating Vision:
Realizing the invasion was just a symptom of a deeper Earth-bound anomaly, Silver Surfer suggests building a synthetic "Herald" to scan for the source. Doom, Tony, and Surfer build Vision. Vision successfully identifies David Haller as the culprit, but can't pinpoint him through his mystical distortion fields.
Act 3: Enter "M2" (Magik & Moon Knight)
Tech and cosmic might reach their limits, so the team recruits New York's premiere occult duo, "M2" (Magik and Moon Knight).
Magik uses Limbo magic to pierce Haller's barriers. Marc Spector (Moon Knight)—who is in a relationship with Illyana—serves as the frontline tank. Because Marc lives with Multiple Personalities (DID), his mind is uniquely immune to Haller's psychic attacks.
What do you guys think about this lineup and the slow-burn event structure?

What single issues do YOU collect?
New reader and collector here and I just began transitioning from collecting trades to collecting trades AND single issues. And it’s so much FUN.
But for a while I wasn’t sure what single issues I even wanted to collect. It would be so easy to collect every issue that has a cool cover so I wanted to structure my collecting a little bit. With the occasional cool cover to buy.
I’m now collecting a lot of current runs because it’s so fun looking forward to a new comic every week or month. I understand the excitement of the hunt now. I’m collecting
All the midnight series
Venom
Moonknight
And Blackcat
My question is, what is everyone else currently collecting single issues of? Are y’all collecting ongoing series or searching for older runs? I wouldn’t mind some suggestions to start collecting as well! Thanks!

Advice for a beginner?
Hi everyone my son wants to start reading comics. He's specified galactus and thanos content but really just said "anything good" as if i know whats good haha.
I was going to buy a bunch of vol 1's but then i noticed 'vol 1 #15' what does the hashtag mean? I seen multiple vol 1's for fantastic 4 and others so not sure where to even begin now. Help me to understand so i can purchase these in the correct order. Its a bit overwhelming looking at the site (uk based fyi).
I noticed a marvel platinum- the definitive galactus novel. Are these one of type novels any good/worth purchasing? If so is there others you'd recommend?
Sorry if this is really silly and thanks in advance.

Anyone seen of these buttons before?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I was just curious if anyone has seen one of these buttons before. No idea when it’s from, I found it in my box of buttons my mom had had for god knows how long.
Couldn’t find any pictures of it online but I didn’t look very long.

Where is Tommy (Speed) relevant?
Hi, guys!
So I've been thinking
I read the 2014 run of the Young Avengers many years ago out of interest in America but ended up really liking Tommy also. I never got to reading more Young Avengers, though. Now, since VisionQuest is coming out (and the fact that Tommy is in it might be the only thing that makes me watch it), I went back and read all of the Young Avengers stories pre the 2014 run, but... I found Tommy has absolutely no relevance or even importance, even during the Children's Crusade which is famously about his brother going after their mother he is just... there... and sometimes he isn't even there.
I was wondering if he has a bigger part in some team/arc/run I am not aware of! If so, I would like to know about it and go read it since I still like his character very much.
Do any of you ever wondered about this too? Are there any Tommy fans that mourn the lack of Tommy stories?
