Ludum Dare Database - games, jams, authors
Hey everyone, Nazavtra here!
Some updates about the LudumDare Database project (ldj.am)

Over the past few months, I've gone through thousands of pages on the Wayback Machine - not just the LD website itself, but also individual developers' websites - fixing errors, tracking down missing games, screenshots, and pretty much anything else that has survived (Which was no easy task, since LD not only moved several times, losing its entire database along the way, but was also originally run by different people on various third-party platforms. On top of that, people renamed their accounts, created multiple accounts, entered the same jam twice, and of course, many participated under team accounts - all of which made the detective work quite a bit harder!)
So, what's new?
- First off, I've moved to a new hosting provider and CDN, so everything should be a little faster now 🤞.
- Second, I've completely revamped the game pages! They now include screenshots, properly formatted descriptions (including embedded YouTube players), and comments! I've also tracked down YouTube videos for some games myself and added them to their pages.
- I've added miniLDs, warmups, and other non-compo events.
- I've also added an entire section for devlogs, timelogs & postmortems. Some are already available, but I'm still going through the archives and adding more.
- There's a new Tools section (uses tags from game posts, so something maybe missed).
- There are now dedicated pages with a much clearer overview of the winners, like LD59 Winners.
- And finally, there's a new Keynotes section! I even managed to do something Mike promised about a million years ago - get the original interactive LD23 flash keynote working again! You can check it out here.
If you find any bugs - DM me on discord (or here).
