About 10 years ago I made a little party game in the browser inspired by the Achtung die Kurve genre.

Like the original, Curvytron 2 is a handmade side project: free, no login, no ads.

It's a full rewrite. The old version feels a bit dull today, this time I aimed for a well polished top-down 3D view with improved gameplay, performance, and real game juice.

The bonuses got a real redesign too: a portal-like effect that lets you peek through to the other side of the map, and real-time destruction for breaking through other players...

I recently added 4 bots with different personalities, so you can play solo or spice up your games with friends.

Well, it still isn't But this week I added the first event where the whole server works together!

Reticulating Splines is a free city builder based on OpenSC2K, an independent reimplementation of SimCity 2000. The download includes replacement graphics, music and sounds, so owning the original game is optional.

Features include optional day/night lighting, weather, seasons, larger maps and additional tools. You can also import artwork and audio from your own supported SC2000 copy.

This is a development preview, not a time-limited trial. Multiplayer is included as an experimental beta.

The project builds on Nicholas Ochoa and the OpenSC2K team’s work. I use OpenAI Codex extensively to help develop the additions, and generative AI has also been used for visual assets and promotional materials.

theres an IT guy named steve. steve is basically the blue team final boss. steve leaves honeypots on the network and if you touch one he traces you back through every hop you took until hes on your box as ROOT. no warning. no you have been detected popup. he just shows up in your shell and deletes your files while you watch. thats what happens when you have bad opsec. i put that in the game as a lesson. most of you would last about four seconds against steve. i lasted the whole game obviously

I've been working on a project called Mafia Syndicate, a mafia-themed, browser-based MMORPG inspired by the classic text-based crime games.

The idea was to create something that brings back that old-school style of gameplay but with a more modern interface, improved mechanics and plenty of things for players to do.

The game is built using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and CSS, with everything running directly in the browser.

Some of the features I've developed include:

• Crimes, car thefts and a criminal ranking system
• Player-created gangs and organised crimes
• Contracts and multi-stage special contracts
• A player-driven economy and Black Market
• Player killing and bounty hunting
• Casino games including Blackjack and Slots
• AJAX navigation to make gameplay smoother without constant page reloads

One of the bigger challenges has been getting all the different systems to work together while keeping the game responsive and making sure player actions are properly validated on the server.

I've also spent quite a bit of time improving the interface, moving away from traditional page reloads and making the game feel more like a modern web application.

It's been a pretty big project and I'm continuing to expand it with new features and improvements.

One More Crypt: a daily roguelite where everyone gets the same crypt and one try per day

Overripe is a match-3 roguelite. Swap two fruits, matches cascade, and every crushed fruit hits the monster. JUICE and ZEST multiply each other, so the numbers get silly fast. Between fights you buy relics and one-shot items, and a run takes about 15 minutes.

It's a free prototype that runs in the browser (mouse recommended). I made a few small games this year to see which one people want more of, and this is the first one out.

I'm a solo dev and this is my first game. On each hex you match or discard the letter. The Pollen number counts the right letters among that hex's neighbours, and a wrong action costs a petal.
