I feel like making a car do this is actually really cool. These thrusters also open the door for a lot of cool performance options in cars like these, such as improving cornering. The design doesn't sit with me as well tho. It kinda looks too low poly for my liking, but will probably grow on me like the Model S (I will never like the Cybertruck or Model Y tho). This definitely took a lot of engineering and I also wish the engineering team would get more credit than Elon because Elon is more like a CEO than a engineer, but it's still very cool. I feel like it gets too much hate because of the Tesla and Elon name.
With that said, flying cars should never be street legal as we already have Altimas nearly achieving lift off because of bad drivers, and Altimas are much easier to drive than a flying Tesla.
