So it’s been about a month since the quest came out, and I’m curious what the general consensus is for lower-level ironmen. Is raising dogs and selling them for blood runes actually worth the effort? I’ve sold 11 pugs so far for 1100 blood runes.

After 65 ingame play time the second 99 skill on my ironmen. Just took 5 weeks just afking redwoods from 91-99.
I don’t know why but I’m quiet happy about it. On my main it took forever to get it 99 and now it was pretty chill.

I used a rune axe all the way haha - thought midway to farm a dragon axe but I didn’t cared.

What did you do for bossing? How bad was the herblore and construction grind?

If I’m reading this correctly it seems the Ferox Enclave with Ring of dueling teleports is the “bank meta” for bossing for irons until you hit 90 construction and 87 herb (lower with boosts)?

What about the Hosidius healers + POH? I think I heard there are NPCs near one POH that act as a “ghetto rejuvenation pool” in the meantime?

I've been having a hard time determining what to bring and use at Fractured Archive because I don't have a Tbow and that's what seemingly everyone is using. GearScape finally released all the bosses in their DPS calculator so I did a deep dive and figured this might be helpful for other non-tbow users. For reference I have full masori as well as inquis helm and oathplate top and bottom, so your results may vary depending on available gear. Calculations only done for the bosses I've tried so far.

Archive Guardian

• ACB beats blowpipe at Archive Guardian until a single DWH lands
• 1 DWH also puts blowpipe ahead of bludgeon for grounded phase (though I expect I would lose a lot of dps on blowpipe dodging tentacles and mushrooms so I intend to stick to melee)

Bork and the Smorks

• ACB wins at Bork until 2 DWH, at which point bludgeon is my best option (especially because of stun phase)
• Range heavily beats out crush for Smorks, after 1 DWH my best option is blowpipe over ACB

Ezekiel

• Melee wins BIG here, even with full def reduction melee is 50% better than my best range option (which is crystal and fbow weirdly enough, I guess because he has such massive range defense across the board)
• If I pretend I have a tbow my ranged dps is suddenly almost dead even with melee (lol)

Dreadnoth

• Funnily enough scobow just barely wins here for me over BP, which is great news because it's a lot easier to run and gun when you don't need to attack every 2 ticks and it makes speccing that much easier

Xarth

• Melee absolutely cooks here, with emberlight being the favorite though bludgeon is almost identical so I probably won't waste the slot (especially because it would also require I bring a defender)
• Full def reduction brings blowpipe up a fair bit closer but melee still decently ahead
• Nally isn't THAT much worse than emberlight and would make melee as braindead as ranged currently is

Ocellus

• P1: Emberlight shows as my best option but I don't think that's actually viable since he has protect melee up while he walks between the corners. Blowpipe is my actual best option
• P2: My brain is too small to do damage during this phase
• P3: Emberlight wins here by a fair margin so I guess my note about not bringing it doesn't hold true in the context of the whole raid. Defense reduction doesn't seem to shake up my best options.

Overall Takeaways (for my gear)

• ACB is good but falls off to blowpipe with any defense reduction. I'll be sticking to blowpipe to have the option to spec for heals and to avoid taking damage from rubies
• Melee is stronger than I thought (thanks to not having a tbow) so I'm going to work harder on using it more

She also loves "fighting the big crab" with her wireless PlayStation controller from time to time (exactly how you imagine it, turning the controller side to side while I AFK it on PC). Soon enough I think she can start doing birdhouse runs for me and other easy farms (kidding). Gotta raise the next generation of OSRS grinders.

Finally finished most of my big goals (Bowfa, dwh, emberlight) but now I dont know where to go next. I unlocked so much content that now I'm stuck on which thing to actually do. My first couple thoughts are to get my zenytes(Not sure if I should do on task or just grind it) or to get my ancient sceptre from Muspah from slayer. I also need to get my blowpipe at some point. Doom and Yama are also options now? GWD? TOA?

I have thousands of random cooked food like trout, salmon, lobster, swordfish, etc. Just junk food I’ll never use. Sometimes, I’ll feed it to my dogs. That’s about it.

Am I good to get rid of this? Should I just drop it or is there some way I can capitalize on it?

How did I fail perfect PNM during enrage phase due to letting a sleepwalker in, but I completed Dreamland Express (kill without letting a sleepwalker in during enrage phase)

Been doing the Voidwaker grind through wilderness slayer, doing bear spider and revenants task and then doing Calv off task with salve ei.

So far I've received the gem from spindel (spooned), the hilt from Artio (on rate) and then I've had the thammarons sceptre from revs. Done about 1700kc there...

For calvarion I've done about 300kc and not enjoying this boss, using zombie axe, proselyte salve ei, nezzy, d def, myth cape etc. My question is, should I carry on doing revs for viggoras (skulled on task) or just leave wildy slayer and stick out calvarion? Turael skipping for rev tasks can take forever sometimes... taking upto 100 skips at times even with the correct block list (all 7 weighted monsters)
