So yesterday I opened reels and started scrolling, and literally every single reel was actual porn or like titties out. I've already clicked not interested on over 150 videos. Theres a few that are just repeatedly showing up, sometimes with it being the same video two videos in a row. I've checked my view history and likes to see if I've been hacked, but theres no signs of anything wrong. The search page is normal, with the recommended reels appearing to be what I would normally watch. As of right now, its about every 3-4 reels after a refresh will be normal, and then it will switch to just porn until I refresh again.

I do not watch these types of reels, and it’s honestly just hella annoying, so if anyone has experienced something similar plz help.

EDIT: some people are struggling to believe what is happening to me, so let me be more explicit and clear. I do not watch any kind of porn on reels. I do not interact with these types of videos, and this genuinely just suddenly started one day. The main strange thing about this is it’s the same collection of like 20-30 different ai videos I’m seeing, all posted by different accounts, so blocking it’s pretty ineffective with how many there are. When scrolling on the main homepage however, my videos are normal with no porn to be seen, but switching to reels guarantees that there will be after scrolling past ~3 reels from the start. This is the part I want to emphasize. The first few reels are normal, then it switches to ONLY ai porn. And also important, when scrolling on the HOMEPAGE the videos are normal. When looking at the explore page, the videos are normal, until scrolling past ~3. This is a genuine issue that I’m having and I want to fix it.

I honestly thought I was being very clear and explicit in the initial post, but clearly not enough for reddit.

EDIT 2: I literally just reset my algorithm and it’s ai porn again in the same way as before. What more can a man do

I checked today my accounts and saw that my 2FA and passkey was removed

I am the only person on my device

It ask me to add the 2FA again

Every time someone types my name into instagram a post from a ‘mug shawtys’ esque account pops up with a post about a stupid arrest from years ago that got dismissed instantly but I was still booked for. I have gotten the post removed from Google results but since instagram started using a search engine for posts, it keeps popping up on instagram - the guy who ran the account died so no one can log in and remove it and I just feel so helpless because anyone who I meet that looks me up on instagram instantly sees the worst thing I’ve ever done. Any advice is appreciated, I just don’t know what to do at this point.

Does anyone know how to fix this. Instagram is not a porn site and the bots are just exposing people to porn. The bots are posting porn in their stories, and they are creating new accounts just to continue posting porn. The bots keep spamming comments. It's disgusting what these bots are doing. They are also posting links to adult websites and links for people to contact them for sexual activity on their account (bio) and in their story. 😡🤬 INSTAGRAM ISN’T A PORN SITE AND THEY AREN’T DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE DISGUSTING PROBLEM. Hallo community, ich bitte um Unterstützung. Meine ex Freundin hat damals auf meinem Handy ein zweites account erstellt und einige meiner Kontakte auf instagram angeschrieben und genervt. Diese haben dann natürlich den account blockiert und wie ich vermute "alle ähnlichen Accounts auch blockieren". Das Problem ist jetzt, dass mein persönlicher Account damit mit blockiert wurde. Als ich das zufällig herausgefunden habe, habe ich nach hinterlegten Accounts auf meinem Handy gesucht und den zweiten Account gefunden. Ich habe den Account dann gelöscht, also vollständig und nicht nur deaktiviert. Ich habe gehofft, dass mein persönlicher account dadurch wieder freigeschaltet wird und nicht mehr blockiert bleibt. Leider ist das nicht der Fall...

Ich bin sehr sauer und möchte, dass mein Account bei den Leuten freigeschaltet wird. Selbst als ich neue Kontos (zum testen) mit einer anderen Email Adresse erstellt habe, konnte icu die Accounts meiner Freunde nicht finden und war automatisch blockiert!!

Almost every account i try to follow it makes me request to follow them, but then the people don’t even get notified that i tried following them? my account is not restricted and never has been, i have no guideline violations or anything. i’m so confused, my name also doesn’t come up in search unless you fully type it out, the same goes for when i try to look up another persons username? how do i fix this? its getting on my nerves and not even meta ai is helping 🥲

Sorry if this is already here somewhere, im new to redit and still figuring it out. Just curious how many accounts people have blocked. Im in hard times financially and just got tired of seeing adds for crap im not interested in or can't afford, and the same adds repetitively come up (if i haven't interacted with the add, why am i still getting the same add 6 months later) so i decided to start blocking anyone advertising stuff i don't want. At 9787 blocks my counter stopped. A week later i am as high as 9835 blocks but often drops to 9830 and sits there on the counter. I am still blocking atleast 20 accounts whenever i use instagram. Im just wondering how many other people have a stopped counter or have managed to block over 10k accounts

I recently got a new phone and cannot access my Instagram account. I know my password and still have access to the phone number and email address linked to my account. However, I’m blocked by two-factor authentication because the authentication app is on my broken phone, and I don’t have recovery codes.

Instagram is not giving me another way to verify my identity or log in. The Help Center and Meta support chat keep sending me in circles without resolving the issue. The AI support will not connect me with a human because I’m not logged in, but being unable to log in is the reason I need help.

Can someone please direct me to a working account recovery process or a human support representative who can help me verify ownership and regain access?

The past two weeks, I've been dealing with an Instagram account posting my copyrighted content. At this point, I've had 12 posts taken down across Meta platforms and counting - every time one gets taken down they just post the content again. They even try to do workarounds like posting other content as the main post, then posting the copyrighted works in the comments.

At this point they have proceeded to dox me by screenshotting and posting the legal information provided by Meta, as part of the copyright takedown claims. They have also posted untrue statements regarding the copyright complaints.

Is there any way to further escalate with Meta, or should I just wait until enough copyright takedowns have gone through that his account gets restricted?

On July 2026, a fake acc is created and "used" all my photo even tho i already priv my acc. Right now he keeps spamming the same photo of me like his daily activity and even used "ugly" caption to all of the post related to me, Hell he even use my photo as his profile pic. is there any sort of way i can do to stop this?

I have no access to the account, don’t know which email I used (it may have been fake), and no longer have the original device, so instagram recovery process leaves me at a dead end.

Has anyone actually managed to get an old account deleted without access to its email or original device.
I’d genuinely appreciate any help.

I wanted to ask if anyone in the Netherlands has tried the default chronological feed. How does it work? Does the feed also include stories sorted chronologically, or just posts? Can you tell me a little about it and/or send me some photos? In the coming months/years, this option, which is available in the Netherlands, will be extended to the rest of the European Union, and there are those who can't wait, like me... I'm tired of the algorithm (obviously, the chronological feed won't be mandatory; users will be able to freely choose between the algorithmic feed and the chronological feed, and the app will remember the user's choice without resetting every time you close the app).
