Pretty fun. I always get temporarily suspended after reinstalling the app for being a "bot" despite having countless photos, stories, notes and messages with friends.

Today I reinstalled the app, chatted a bit with a friend. Fast forward about 6 hours later, I just had dinner, came back into my room and opened instagram to check if another friend replied to me. Then, out of nowhere: "You're suspended".

I think this one is the final one.

Btw, they also blocked my linked facebook account my mother made for me back in 2011 when I was 6.

Makes you remember that these services can just vanish in any moment. They don't care about the user, they only care about money, because that's all a business is about. Thx 4 reading.

I have no access to the account, don’t know which email I used (it may have been fake), and no longer have the original device, so instagram recovery process leaves me at a dead end.

Has anyone actually managed to get an old account deleted without access to its email or original device.

So today my Instagram was hacked by somebody and they made a status where they promoted a crypto I think? (the one with mrbeast sending a Twitter message).

After a friend messaged me questioning the status, I quickly took action and changed my password and added a two step verification. Then I deleted the status and apologized with a status myself to everyone.

A few hours passed, everything was fine. I sent some reels to friends and so..

Then I checked my Instagram and all my chats were gone from the messages tab. I first thought if would have been a glitch but no.. Everything is gone. Only the messages I sent after the incident, group chats and reels I sent myself were there.. Everything else... Gone

I tried looking up what to do and saw that I can "Export my information", I heard one that thing you deleted would return that way, so I chose it for messages and did it..

But to my surprise, only the messages I mentioned before were downloaded.

Is there a way I can do anything? I already send an email to Instagram Security asking for help reviving my chats.

I hate hackers ​so much... I had many chats with not only reels but moments that were important and I could even cry reading them again. I hope I can find help or even only support here!

Instagram is not a porn site and the bots are just exposing people to porn. The bots are posting porn in their stories, and they are creating new accounts just to continue posting porn. The bots keep spamming comments. It's disgusting what these bots are doing. They are also posting links to adult websites and links for people to contact them for sexual activity on their account (bio) and in their story. 😡🤬 INSTAGRAM ISN’T A PORN SITE AND THEY AREN’T DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THE DISGUSTING PROBLEM. So, I got suspended because of a fake account that supposedly committed a violation. I didn’t appeal, and I don’t even want to because I won’t get my account back anyway.

I learnt this the hard way by mistake and had to delete my profile of 8k followers all together after battling for like 2 weeks to turn off the thing.

Every time someone types my name into instagram a post from a ‘mug shawtys’ esque account pops up with a post about a stupid arrest from years ago that got dismissed instantly but I was still booked for. I have gotten the post removed from Google results but since instagram started using a search engine for posts, it keeps popping up on instagram - the guy who ran the account died so no one can log in and remove it and I just feel so helpless because anyone who I meet that looks me up on instagram instantly sees the worst thing I’ve ever done. Any advice is appreciated, I just don’t know what to do at this point.

My old accounts got banned and my phone got ip banned because I tried to make new ones a few too many times and ive waited over 100 days before I even touch the app ( got recommend to set up Instagram on the same phone ) is it actually possible to set up a new account on this phone or not. Obviously using a new email and phone number or should I still wait till I get a new phone all together?

I just want to know before I get false hope that it worked and burn though another email
