Just why?? I don’t want this, but it’s probably impossible once again to prevent this from happening… Can’t find any info on what it’s about either, except for this and that isn’t informing either by just describing issues people are experiencing with it…?

I noticed these two different Instagram notifications and now I’m curious.
One says “Sent a reel to you” and the other says “Sent you a reel.”
Does the difference in wording mean anything? Like, could the first one mean the person shared the reel specifically with me, while the second could mean it was also shared with other people or a group?
Or am I just overthinking Instagram’s notification wording? Has anyone noticed this or figured out how it works?

Some people refuse to accept this is real, but when you’re around the same people everyday, those people’s search history can affect what you see online.

There are a ton of other recent articles that go into more detail, the one I posted is from 2017, but still holds up. Basically when you’re connected to the same wifi or Bluetooth as other people, your info gets shared.

I’m not saying this is for sure the reason why you’re seeing so much adult content, but it’s possible a roommate or coworker is effecting your recommendations and ads.

There are some conspiracy’s the deeper you look into this, but cross device tracking is a real thing and 100% affects what you see online.

Now the fact so much adult content is allowed on a social media platform where kids are watching is a whole other problem…

So this is really weird. I got a message in my inbox from an automated agent for a certain person which I thought was really strange. It was in Spanish and it was about immigration attorney work.

I live in Michigan. This person lived in Texas and I was visiting Texas and I remember that person telling me they were an immigration attorney. They were my Uber driver for maybe five minutes. That's the only reason I connected it.

So why is my Uber driver from last month that's in a different state contacting me on Instagram. How do they know, It is way too direct to be a coincidence. They would have no idea what my Instagram handle would be and I would have no reason to reach out to an immigration attorney so I didn't click on anything. I haven't done anything.

Something seems really not right here and maybe somebody can help me out.

A lot of my videos has more than just 30 views. What’s going on here ? I have one video that has 2.4milliom views. And others that have over 40k - 100k views

i've been getting these sex bots in my story views on instagram since probably april. i just recently found out this week that if they all show up on the last/latest story, its probably someone viewing it through a 3rd party site. well, that is exactly what happened last night. there were no bot hits on the other stories, just the last one. my ex and i have been separated since february and have remained in no contact ever since. i know making my account private fixes this issue, i just want to know your opinion on this.

am i overthinking this, or is someone viewing my stories anonymously?

apologies if this isn't the right flair but I don't understand why this is happening.

recently instagram has been changing my settings and i don't know how or why. i personally want nothing to do with instants, i find it annoying how they cover up my DMs page. so I went to my settings to get them off of my DMs page. I toggled ON "hide instants". anywhere from a week to a few months later, it somehow turns itself back off & instants are back covering my list of DMs. & i have to go turn it on again. this has happened at least 3 times in the last 4-6 months.

similarly, recently on my fyp i have come across a few accounts that I KNOW FOR A FACT i have been following for YEARS, but all of a sudden there's a follow button next to their username. i click on their profile & i'm not following them anymore somehow.

genuinely why is this happening?? instagram now has me second guessing my own memory & i don't fucking like it. please has anyone else noticed this bc i'm starting to feel like i'm going nuts

Is this a bug or a "feature"? Because it's been this way for a while now, but it used to sync across devices.

I'm using instagram on three different devices. Two phones and web. Every time I watch an account's story on one device, it shows up as unseen on two other devices.

Annoying because when I open the app from a different device it means I'm being showed old stories that I've watched before marked as "new".

I’m an artist and I make all sorts of weird glitch stuff. The clips on most proud of get nothing but random low effort stuff just blows up.

It’s like quality has no meaning. but then I second guess myself and can’t be sure if it’s my idea of quality is just off. The gaslighting continues to have layers on layers I guess.

Anyone else have thought in this?

All of a sudden, all stories except mine shows loading on the top of the feed. Its constantly running in circles without anything appearing.

I tried logging in and out. Restarted my phone. Deleted and reinstalled app. Nothing seems to help.

Can someone please help if you encountered something similar? 🙏

Months ago, someone tagged me in their Instagram Story. I reposted it to my own Story and saved it to one of my Highlights.
At some point, the entire Story disappeared from my Highlight and was no longer visible there for months. Now, the whole Story has suddenly reappeared. Could this happen because the original poster temporarily hid their Story from me, I’m pretty sure he did hid me from his stories during that time but now I’m not following him anymore does it mean he removed me from his hidden list? Would unblocking me from his stories make the old Story reappear in my Highlight?

There are some songs available to me to post with on one account that aren’t available on the other. Neither are business accounts. I’m very confused has anyone else had this issue? The account that I can’t use some songs on is private but idk if that’s actually the problem or not
