if you know letterbox they ask people their ‘Letterbox four favorite films’ of all time

I was curious to ask this for IDM songs. your four favorite IDM songs

maybe I’ll make a follow up post for albums but I felt like songs first.

for me:

• Boards of Canada - Kid For Today
• Autechre - Yulquen
• Aphex Twin - 3
• Boards of Canada - Music is Math

Hello there.
I've gone down a bit of a rabbit-hole recently regarding a IDM band from the early 2000's
under the name of Hakea.

All of their music appears to be lost media at the moment.
as their old websites are down, WaybackMachine doesn't host files of the tracks and recordings that were hosted on their site.

They were a laptop live PA duo based in the thriving Seattle electronic music community. Both hail from South King County where Matt Carthum (Matt One) experimented with tapes, records, and effects while Matt Turpin (Matt Zero) explored FM synthesis.
(taken from old page description in link number 3 at the bottom of post)

They were under the Label "Clickpop Records"
They've performed at events like Decibel Festival
The Bellingham Electronic Arts Festival, various clubs, art venues
And apparently a train tunnel somewhere?

Most of their body of work was before the advent of streaming platforms so there's hasn't been any sort of lead to go off of.

As far as i can find there was only one official album release.
"Hakea" - Hakea MX-003 Under Clickpop Records
11 Tracks, this of course has no mirrors or archives as well from my knowledge.
(if anyone knows any resources please let me know but i can't find anything besides one cd copy for sale XD)

Maybe this isn't the right Subredddit for this kind of ask
but I'm desperate (I don't even know if the music is good i want to satisfy my curiosity)

This is a bit of a shameless self promotion, but I just released my debut album Signal Loss on October 9 and I think the vibe is a fit within this community. A bit IDM, a bit techno, some industrial and Trip Hop mixed in. Just wanted to share it with like minds <3

Audioreactive visuals for added fun.

IDM inspired Song by German Artist: Christian Wolffzahn. Check it out.

Hey guys! I want find some unusual synthwave tracks with interesting sound like Run by iamthekidyouknowwhatimean in Hotline Miami.

I really liked that vocal sample wich starts near the end. It sounds like you falling somewhere in the void. Sounds dark and meditative together.

my 18th is coming up, and I'm planning to go clubbing. any spots you recommend for more interesting idm adjacent music? thanks!

I had shown clips of some of my music last week on this subreddit and was asked by some for the music in full, so here it is!

Hello, I’m a BrainDance synth artist from Devon UK. I recently started doing live gigs and needed some merch so I decided to cobble together a CD with some tracks I had made with various synths over the past 3 or so years. Thought some of you guys might enjoy it.
