I know, I know, I know… it’s leans more into pop. 🙂

Here are my nine! 🖤 Gran Turismo leans more towards alternative pop and The Fat of the Land towards big beat and rave, but both absolutely belong in my selection.

Mix of eras, just my faves. Not strictly trip hop but I think it all fits here. For Lapalux, When You’re Gone EP is even better but wasn’t listed because it’s not a full album. But Nostalchic is also incredible.

The purist may scoff but some of these have been with me for more than half of my life, through everything.

I know it's not entirely triphop related but what a movie!

I've listened to this soundtrack by Massive Attack for years and thought it was about time I actually watched the movie they wrote it for.

What a brilliant movie! 10/10! Just as good as the soundtrack

This is an EP by a former member of Haelos. He's mentioned in interviews that he was inspired by trip-hop and the Bristol sound. It came out a few years ago. Unfortunately, he hasn't made new music for this project since then.
My favorite song of it is Better By Your Side.

A carefully curated selection of lesser-known trip-hop masterpieces, unearthed online after countless hours of digging. Not the usual classics, but personal hidden gems.

It’s a selection of the kind of trip-hop I love: anxious, urban.

I hope you might discover some tracks here that become defining moments in your life.

Enjoy!

I just came out of the theater and blown away a single film hast my facvorite things: DC comics: Horror (genre) & Triphop (Goldfrapp)

I smiled so hard when i heard Goldfrapp

Damn. This special session even better than the album version.

Another one from my new tape on bandcamp.
Cuts / scratching on this one by my bro Mr Blazey.

No AI used on anything ever :)

I recently fell back in love with triphop and have been revisiting my old favorites. Mezanine and Heligoland in particular. I was wondering if y'all had any suggestions for artists or albums that capture the same cold/empty/sterile/dissociated atmosphere that a lot of tracks on these albums have? They're not triphop, but just for reference, the XXs self titled album scratches a similar itch for me, but not quite the same as what I'm looking for atm. They're a little more "organic" sounding if that makes sense haha

Haven't seen a discussion in the sub on this album yet. Fantastic stuff and easily their best work yet for me, one of my favorites of the year! What say you?

Don't mind if i light one up for this

Thought you guys would like this mixtape -all vinyl so plenty of nice crackle, and hopefully a few tracks that you don't know already..

if you're into trip hop
