Some of these distances being literally less than a couple of kilometers from each other. Do some of these Greek and Turkish towns have friendly relations with each other? Are there tensions?
Are there any cultural differences between these islands, and are there cultural differences between the islands and to mainland Greece? Crete?
Im unsure if all these islands have a common name/term they are grouped under, I know about dodecanese islands for the southern islands, but unsure about the northern ones

What is the quality of life, cost of living, pollution, and most importantly what are the people like?
Asking with intention to move, depending.
Any help at all is appreciated, thank you.

I realize this is a rather large geographical area with a lot of potential variety in town quality, but I'm curious where the best places within this area are. What's life like? Is it more stereotypically southern and rural or are there any pockets of blue towns or vibes that one wouldn't expect to find in the rural south? Any info you guys have on any place in this region would be appreciated.

I'm not American, and I honestly don't know much about San Jose apart from it being a big tech hub. I've always been curious what everyday life is actually like, so I'd love to hear from people who actually live there.

I'm not intending for the title to provoke any racism or political battles. I'm asking it this way particularly because of the recent history of land confiscation, and all the economic and political fallout that occurred.
So yeah, just curious, what's life like there as a white person? Is it similar to South Africa: Are white people typically enclaved in particular suburbs/schools/workplaces/churches? Does private money typically have to replace most government functions? Are relations with the majority black population typically good on the ground? What's quality of life like: schools, safety, cost of living, housing, etc.? What do you guys do for fun on weekends?

Nashville and the Smoky Mountains always get all the love. I’m curious what locals think of west Tennessee. Droves of people are moving to TN and I’m wondering if the western portion is also getting an influx of people the way Nashville and Knoxville are - as well as how life is there just in general.
Obviously I hear things about Memphis but they’re always… less than ideal lol
And no I’m NOT looking to move there lol. I live happily in Washington state with no intention of moving.

More specifically if anyone is from there, in/around Letterkenny? I saw an interesting job advertised there. Not in a position to move right now but I’m curious for the future.

Hello. Some weeks ago I did my first eurotrip, it was a Madrid-Barcelona. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to visit another european country because I was running out of time but I'd like to ask how is actually in Barcelona for a local, not for a tourist.
My impression about Barcelona is that is filled of tourist, recently also I've read that to rent a house or apartment is impossible and the street insecurity is high (that wasn't my experience). I loved the city.
Now, how is living for a local? thanks in advance fellas.

FANGCHUAN VILLAGE 防川村.
I'm from Canada. I was looking around google map and I found this place where China make a thin separation with North Korea and Russia.
Is there a lot military there?
I'm just curious.
