Was playing Legacy Ridge in Westminster, CO today and got a weird message on the in cart GPS screen. Anyone else have this happed? We were on hole 16-17 and the GPS told me to return the cart. We were also a solid 20 minutes ahead of pace.

I went out today and played 18 with some family and friends, all who are late 70s to early 80s.
So they played from the forward tee.
Wanting to keep the flow of play, I decided to play the forward tees.
I am a bogie golfer and carded a 4 over par (72).
I was 2 over each side.
I got no gimmies, no mulligans, played the ball as I found it.
But the forward tees made a difference, my second shot was usually under 100 yards, par 5 were reachable in 2.
Not to mention the greens had just been aerated. So putting was like plinko!
My question is, do I plug this into my GHIN? And if so what will this do to my handicap?

At a local course posted before the 1st tee. It is real. What do you think?

Shot my personal best today!!
I genuinely can't believe I just did that. Everything felt really smooth minus a few swings. One of those days where you don't even realize your score until hole 18. Putter was absolutely dialed. Course is unbelievably pure. Hope to be back soon

For me it’s the lob shot. I hit it pretty well warming up, but when the score matters I always avoid it.
No idea why.
What’s yours?

I am a single golfer and I get paired up with lots of randoms. The majority of them are guys who have been playing golf for 20-30 years but the majority of them are not good.
I used to get intimidated by these guys, the ones who wear golf clothing, have expensive clubs, those who make golf their entire identity...and it got me thinking, why are they so bad? I know they've taken lessons, they play regularly...but they still don't get better.
I'm drumming up conversation so let me know your thinking - thanks

I have a few local courses that have blind tee shots where you could hit the group ahead of you if you don’t make the effort to look. There’s one local course that has a bell but that relies on people using it and listening for it. Has anyone seen a course where they don’t feel and risk of getting hit on their second shot when there’s a blind tee shot? It’s kind of weird to me how we just accept potentially getting rocked by a golf ball when there’s gotta be an easy solution to it.

If you lost your hole in 1 ball on 18 at buffalo ridge, I have it.

Just finished the 6 public Strantz courses. Easily my favorite courses that I’ve played so far in my life. Now I just need to figure out how to get on bulls bay.

What’s the best way to teach someone to not let a bad shot define the hole, themselves. or the round.
How to start each shot with a clean slate. I’ve seen one bad shot turn into a bad hole then into a bad round merely from attitude or over animation.

To whoever is willing to share. We see so much about handicaps in golf. I want to hear some actual scoring averages from people who play regularly and actually keep track.

Hello golf experts - my daughter (15) started playing golf around 10 months ago. She has improved significantly over that time. I had her in lessons some in the spring, but mostly just practicing with her high school golf team and playing tournaments over the summer. She’s now shooting consistently in the low 90s. I’ve got her now in lessons one day per week, but I still have her using the cheapest set of clubs I could find at the time. I wanted to be sure she loved the sport before investing more. At this point, with how much she’s improved and how much she’s loving golf, do you think getting a good set is worth it? Would it make a difference or is that a gimmick? I really don’t know much about golf - so I’ll take all the advice on how I can help her.

Hi, I recently bought my first golf set - I love it - I am a girlie in her 30s. I have played 4 courses and gone to the range a couple times but dont want to get caught up in the reel/tiktok advice as I think I would benefit from people here with real advice. I love golf so far, just want to make sure I gradually improve not just try all these things at the same time and feel like I dont know what I am doing.
Thank you in advanced.

You know you play some country ass courses if Milk Bones are an essential part of your golf bag. Gotta keep the local course dogs happy

So let's make some assumptions.
No golden ticket.players must either get a spot on the DP World Tour and make the top 10, then get a card for the PGA second tier. Or they go over and rise through Corn Ferry tour and open qualifiers.
Who form the whole of LIV is good enough to make it back?
Looks like P. Reed is back mext year, but presumably only to the second tier and must grind his qay up the rankings. He was in good form at the start of the year, but injury has slowed his momentum.
Rahm has been poor, but i think he'll start practicing again and make it back quickest of all.
Others i would expect back: Neiman, Hatton, Detry.
Thoughts?

Created this round report to learn from my game, what can improve etc. Exported from GolfStory.app
Hole 17 was tough, got into the green bunker but thinned and went a long way over the green, behind the pine tree ;(
