the day has finally come, my local beauty supply store has made glossier you inspired fragrance! every time i go i look for it and finally have 2 different brands with a glossier dupe. this one was $8. but they have bigger bottles but there was no tester so to be safe i got the travel size. i will say there’s a bug spray smell when initially sprayed but the dry down is amazing

my birthday is coming up and im considering asking for the grey sweatshirt, what are people’s thoughts on it? is it thick like the hoodies, how does it fit, etc? i have the lavender hoodie in a 3x if there’s any comparisons to be drawn

I was in the Philly store this past Saturday (10/17) and they had some black Lash Slick in stock. The girls told me that it’s a production issue in France, and they’re hoping to be fully stocked again by January!

Was able to reach out to the team and got me a quick response, seems like my beloved lash slick WILL be back... eventually

(We all could) I’m so so sad to see a brand that was such a trailblazer and so beloved go downhill. They used to listen to feedback. Them denying You being reformulated for years now is insane. Anyways, they’ve destroyed so much trust with their fans, and the products they do push are…. An odd choice? I feel like so many brands focus primarily on sales and forget about client loyalty, so when the trend they’re chasing dries up, they don’t have a regular base to fall back on. They feel less and less distinct. I went into their LA store recently and it felt… depressing. Even on rainy days just a few years ago it used to be buzzing and exciting

Now that they’ve discontinued haloscope (I stupidly bought the new highlighter and it is awful…), priming moisturizer (WTF?), retinol, and other beloved products the literal only thing I’ll buy from them is milky jelly cleanser

I specifically asked about the balance moisturizer in my email. Any recommendations for similar lightweight moisturizers? I’ve been using this for years!

hi i am not from the united states and i placed an order october 12th. there was something wrong with my order and asked the gTeam to correct it but no response received to date, and my account on the website still shows preparing… i tried to get it expedited thru a DM in instagram account but only to be re-directed back to the gTeam via email… anyone has ordered outside of US? how was it?

i looked thru the subreddit to see if anyone else posted about it yet and didn't see anything so apologies if this is old news, but the black cherry lip liner is back on sephora 👀 i was looking thru the gift sets on the app and saw the mini liner + bdc set and thought i should check if they are selling the liner alone bc i still have plenty of last year's black cherry bdc and lo and behold here she is!!!! i am v tempted to get it cuz i missed out last time 🫪🫪🫪

been using the m.ph underpainting palette recently and loveee combining it with my glossier complexion, as the le skin doesnt really have a shade light enough for me. really happy with this look though, products used down below!!

also, side note, is it just me or is rose bdc back to its original scent???? i bought one recently and it smells really similar to my vintage paint tube one. let me know what yall think, smelled a tester in sephora and smelled better too.

I think Futuredew is great and something I want to keep on hand, I just don’t use it enough and held onto this bottle well past its prime. However, instead of a direct replacement, I tried a possible dupe and got, well, a bit duped?

ETUDE Nymph Aura Volumer Face Primer makes similar promises as Futuredew and comes in similar looking packaging, but they’re very different products. The bottle feels so much lighter and plasticy. The product consistency is initially quite thick, closer seeming to the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, but when spread out it feels and looks like oil? I tried applying it like I do Futuredew, wearing without makeup underneath as a highlighter, but I looked greasy. I will try mixing it in with foundation instead per its instructions, I just rarely use foundation so the product feels less versatile.

So. I think I need to eventually just repurchase Futuredew. Curious about the solid version, if anyone has any experience with it, but I am nervous I will still be chasing exactly the liquid Futuredew experience and let down again by not just buying exactly what I know I’ve liked before?

Should I wait for the Black Friday sale or take advantage of the best sellers sale going on?

I'm underwhelmed :(. I was around for peak Glossier but couldn't afford it. I remember friends loving it because it wasn't supposed to "conceal" things but enhance them -- models had their freckles showing through dewy skin tints, etc. People would talk about landing jobs there as a marker of "it girl status". I just got my order and was super excited :(. They didn't include the 4 blush samples I wanted to try...Instead I got 4 spray cards that were v. confusing and empty? Was something supposed to come out? 💀 I pulled and pressed but maybe it's just the ghostly vapors of a fragrance just in time for Halloween? The excess packaging is off-putting, too. Like if you're just include 4 cards, just send a small vial my dude. Just one. Not 4. And ik they're pivoting to be more of a perfume house. But idk I ordered makeup not fragrances. I would have preferred to just try different shades instead of getting 4 random spray cards. The envelope they were mailed in was also super weirdly glued and the pink pouch is bubble wrap. Excuse?! I thought it'd be a cute makeup bag. I don't want to put cosmetics into bubble wrap. 😕

was haloscope fully discontinued? it was my fav highlighter :((

I already have the backup ready to go. Bdcbdc is my total favorite.
