I grew up pining for Glossier but since I was a child I didnt have the means to purchase things. I was always super excited about the holiday drops and looked forward to when I could buy some things. But now that I have adult money I realized I missed the Glossier golden era.

At the end of the day its just a brand but it felt like I wouldnt be just purchasing a random item but an experience that was seasonal yet chic.

I pulled pics starting in 2019 when they launched their first holiday set to 2026. I couldnt find much on 2023 besides the thermo.

My fave sets are between the 2024 and 2020 sets, both in design but also the items available.

In the spirit of making this a collection of Glossier holiday history, I wanted to include some other things other people have mentioned.

The black tie set that came out for the 2016 holiday season and the liquid foil liners that were a limited release in December 2014.

I already have the backup ready to go. Bdcbdc is my total favorite.

Genuinely what is happening to Glossier, everything they put out lately feels SO random??!

I think Futuredew is great and something I want to keep on hand, I just don’t use it enough and held onto this bottle well past its prime. However, instead of a direct replacement, I tried a possible dupe and got, well, a bit duped?

ETUDE Nymph Aura Volumer Face Primer makes similar promises as Futuredew and comes in similar looking packaging, but they’re very different products. The bottle feels so much lighter and plasticy. The product consistency is initially quite thick, closer seeming to the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser, but when spread out it feels and looks like oil? I tried applying it like I do Futuredew, wearing without makeup underneath as a highlighter, but I looked greasy. I will try mixing it in with foundation instead per its instructions, I just rarely use foundation so the product feels less versatile.

So. I think I need to eventually just repurchase Futuredew. Curious about the solid version, if anyone has any experience with it, but I am nervous I will still be chasing exactly the liquid Futuredew experience and let down again by not just buying exactly what I know I’ve liked before?

Pretty sure I’m just missing mint & lavender, but I’m not a fan of the latter.

hii!! i live in a country without glossier but i might be able to order some thru a friend! i really looooveee doux and my bottle's about to run out but i was thinking about whether or not i'd like soie...the notes are really interesting to me. i dont like gourmands at all (did not like reve!) but i wanted to get some input if anyone can recommend it to me!

I'm underwhelmed :(. I was around for peak Glossier but couldn't afford it. I remember friends loving it because it wasn't supposed to "conceal" things but enhance them -- models had their freckles showing through dewy skin tints, etc. People would talk about landing jobs there as a marker of "it girl status". I just got my order and was super excited :(. They didn't include the 4 blush samples I wanted to try...Instead I got 4 spray cards that were v. confusing and empty? Was something supposed to come out? 💀 I pulled and pressed but maybe it's just the ghostly vapors of a fragrance just in time for Halloween? The excess packaging is off-putting, too. Like if you're just include 4 cards, just send a small vial my dude. Just one. Not 4. And ik they're pivoting to be more of a perfume house. But idk I ordered makeup not fragrances. I would have preferred to just try different shades instead of getting 4 random spray cards. The envelope they were mailed in was also super weirdly glued and the pink pouch is bubble wrap. Excuse?! I thought it'd be a cute makeup bag. I don't want to put cosmetics into bubble wrap. 😕

First of all, the scent just smells like cosmetic vanilla. It’s not unpleasant at all, but didn’t really get anything more nuanced than that. Another poster said it smelled like Mac Lipsticks which I think is pretty true! It has a light, sweet taste to me.

The colour itself is pretty - but as you can see, it’s VERY sheer. I wish it was a little more pigmented because it’s actually my favourite shade of the entire range! I think it works well with no-make-up make-up, it just adds a little life back into my lips rather than it being a true shade in the way black cherry is or hot cocoa was (RIP hot cocoa!)

I just wish glossier could become a skincare focused brand again is all, especially considering they have freakings trademarked the slogan "skin first. Makeup second". Becoming perfume/scent focused, or makeup focused for that matter, makes no sense at all imo considering the brand's roots

hiiii all !!! i know the recent holiday launch has been a bit controversial but personally I love the holiday bdcs, so what’s everyone’s favorite ??? personally I still love gingersnap and hot cocoa. Gingersnap is so yum, it’s a perfect fall scent/color. hot cocoa is a perfect cool red for me and it’ll always remind me of my jr year of hs haha. it’s like identical to cliniques black honey. Wbu guys?

Generation G “like”has been sold out for ages where I live and buying directly from glossier is not great for me bc the shipping costs more than the product :( anyone knows a good dupe for it ? 🥹

I swear it happens to every balm I have (pre and post reformulation) where after a time the oils separate and I’m getting more oil than balm. I try to mix it back in inside the tube but never works. Any tips?

The formula and application for these things were just perfect. Don’t understand why it would be discontinued.
