I'm looking for a game on Steam where I can build whatever I want and let my creativity run wild. It could be building an entire city, designing a cozy house, running a hotel, creating a huge resort, or pretty much anything else.

I'm looking for something with tons of creative freedom and insane replay value — a game I can keep coming back to for hundreds or even thousands of hours without getting bored.

Most importantly, I want something chill and relaxing that I can play at my own pace, unwind, and just enjoy the process of creating stuff without feeling rushed or stressed.

I'm open to pretty much any genre, whether it's a city builder, sandbox, simulation game, or something more niche. Graphics are a plus, but creative freedom and long-term replayability are what I'm really after.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some kind of franchise that's female fronted, I've already played things like the horizon games, tomb raider, resident evil, fallout, elder scrolls, control, ect. I'm not a huge fan of top downs, metroidvanias or visual novels. i love horror, action, post apocalyptic and generally fun combat. I hope someone can help out <3

My go to gaming console is the switch (I don't have the second one yet, though I'm hoping to get it eventually).

Can be dressmaking or not, but just an overall similar vibe is what I'm looking for.

Not really looking for farming games, I love them, I just want something else.

(Hoping that Dressmaker will eventually get placed on Nintendo Switch).

Any recommendations about a game that will scar me for life and never leave my memories? I’ve just come to realize all the games I’ve ever played are just sun shines and rainbows with no real story that makes you feel sad or have huge loss. So yeah if you guys have any games that are historical in your life then I’d be happy to check them out

I am open to pc or switch one games. I have been addicted to dressmaker, and I would love to try other games with an entertaining story and characters, that also allows me to be creative in some way. It doesn’t have to be dressmaking or even sewing, just some other game where you can make things, that also has a good story.

I’m in the mood for something a little like Kowai Sugoi Studios’ 2017 title Shiver. A free(or at least cheap), short experience with spooky vibes. Extra points if it’s point-and-click and/or has wintry vibes, but those things are not required.

Think Gas Station Simulator mixed with Road 96. A lost highway where you're not sure what year it is. Dusty roads, strange people, interesting tales. Maybe there's something spooky in the desert? Maybe there's aliens?

Not into the driving aspect, just looking for the story and scenery.

I play in Xbox series s, so I know I'm already limited. I want to get a PC one day I'm just broke.

But I'm looking for weird games to get obsessed with for the next while. I recently heard about Psychopomp, and I really want to play that but I can't. But I was hoping I could get some recommendations of games that feel like Psychopomp that are on Xbox. Just overall confusing and kinda ridiculous games.

Which one should I choose: My Time at Sandrock, My Time at Portia, or Go-Go Town!?

I'm looking for a cozy game that I can sink a lot of hours into without getting bored too quickly. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how these games compare in terms of gameplay variety, progression, replayability, and long-term enjoyment.

Which one do you think offers the most satisfying gameplay loop and the most content for the money? I'd also love to know which one you'd personally recommend and why.

Since I've had kids I haven't been able to play videogames much, so I'm pretty out of the loop on newer video games.

Games I enjoy: Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 + NV + 4,

The last of us pt 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid V, Far Cry 3 + Primal + 6, Rimworld, Telltale's the walking dead + game of thrones, Bioshock infinite, Tomb Raider, Mass Effect 1 + 3, The Sims 1-4, and others I can't remember right now.

Games I thought I'd enjoy playing but didn't: Witcher 3, assassin's creed (any), uncharted 4, red dead redemption 2 (I did enjoy watching my wife play this one though).

I reckon I would enjoy Baldur's gate 3 but I do not have a good enough computer to run it nor a console beyond PS4+PS3 and Xbox one.

Any suggestions?

I used to love playing GTA chinatown wars on the DS and doing the drug trading minigame to make money, I'm looking for something like that where it's not the main point of the game (not motortown/snowrunner etc)

I've tried NTE but it keeps crashing on my steamdeck and the weekly limit looks like it'd annoy me, I know of stuff like the one in like a dragon but I'm more looking for one where you drive a car or van

Can you actually have fun playing Overcooked! All You Can Eat or Moving Out 2 solo, or are they mainly meant to be played with friends? I really like the look of both games, but I usually play alone. Wondering if they're still worth getting if you don't have anyone to play with. What do you guys think?

Is 5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel actually worth buying?

I’m looking for a chess variant that genuinely changes the way chess is played, rather than just adding a few new rules or gimmicks.

I came across 5D Chess With Multiverse Time Travel, and the concept looks really interesting, but I’m wondering if it’s actually as fun as it sounds.

For those who’ve played it, how enjoyable is it in the long run? Does it have enough depth to keep you coming back, or does the novelty wear off once you get used to the mechanics?

I’m also curious whether it’s worth the price if I’m mainly looking for a chess game that feels fresh and different from traditional chess.

Would you recommend it, or are there any other chess variants on Steam that you think are more worth buying?

So I listen to true crime podcasts a lot and I don't really have a game to play with it on my modded 2ds. The perfect game here is Minecraft, because I could grind materials with the podcast but when not listening to a podcast I can build and pay attention. So is there a game on ds/3ds that I could do the same thing with?

(I have played animal crossing new leaf and dont want to replay it or play wild world)
