One Week. One Hell of a Turnaround.

ast week, I had my doubts about where ZombUs was heading. Today, the game is getting noticed and selling more copies than ever before.

And I believe many of you helped make that happen, even when that wasn't your intention.

Every discussion, every comment, every criticism and every bit of attention helped bring ZombUs to more people's screens. Whether you supported me, challenged me or simply wanted to see what all the fuss was about, you helped spread the word.

I'm a solo developer, working on a game I've spent three years building in Unreal Engine, with no marketing budget and plenty still to learn. I don't know where this momentum will take ZombUs, but I know one thing: I'm not stopping now.

So, instead of just talking about the journey, here's the next step.

ZombUs Map 4: LETHE is OUT NOW!

New region. New weapons. New blueprints. New mythical weapons. New perks. And the story continues.

Four maps down. Six to go.

To everyone who helped put ZombUs on the map, intentionally or otherwise: thank you.

Now, back to building.

I have been developing a turn-based RPG by myself for about a year, and I recently uploaded a Steam demo "Tale of Specters: Joseon 1592"

I've loved historical novels since I was a kid. Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Taiko, that kind of thing. Around the same time I was playing Sangokushi Sousouden, Farland Tactics, Ys, Final Fantasy Tactics. At some point I thought, I want to make one of these.

And I did work in games for a long time. Just not on the games I wanted to make.

Eventually I figured I couldn't keep putting it off, so I made the turn-based RPG I'd always wanted to make. It's called "Tale of Specters: Joseon 1592".

Honestly, getting the word out has been harder than I expected, which is why I'm writing this. Going solo is tough, but I'm having fun making it.

The demo is in Steam Next Fest this week. If it sounds like your kind of game, I'd be glad if you gave it a try. And to everyone else out here working on the thing they've always wanted to make — I'm rooting for you.

Luminids Kickstarter Is Live! Help Bring This Little World to Life

Hey everyone!

The Luminids Kickstarter is officially live! ❤️

For the past year, I've been pouring my heart into building Luminids, a peaceful little world where tiny creatures make friends, grow up, build homes and live their own lives.

It's been a huge journey building this as a solo developer, and seeing people discover Luminids, wishlist it and get excited about the world has genuinely meant a lot to me.

Now I'm taking the next big step.

I've launched a Kickstarter with a goal of raising £12,000 to help bring Luminids to Early Access in February 2027.

If Luminids has caught your eye, I'd love you to consider backing the Kickstarter. There are different reward tiers, and every pledge makes a difference.

❤️ Back Luminids on Kickstarter:

And if you're not in a position to back it, sharing the campaign with a friend who might enjoy Luminids would mean the world.

Thank you for being part of this little journey. There's so much more I want to show you.

Creator of Luminids

I made a space maze game where levels quietly teach you physics!

Hi Reddit! I am a solo indie developer, and I want to share my very first game: Black Hole: Space Tilt (on Android).

I've always felt that video games shouldn't just be for killing time. For me, the best games always leave you with something meaningful - a cool new idea, a fresh perspective, or just something interesting to think about. I really wanted to create a game that gives you that same feeling.

So, what is the game? It's a space maze partially inspired by classic arcades. You tilt your phone to control a tiny captain flying through neon space toward a black hole. But here is the special part: as you play and handle the tilt controls, you are actually feeling the laws of physics with your hands.

I also added a special section called the Captain's Log. Every 10 levels, you unlock a short, real fact about space and physics. These aren't boring facts - they are the kind of ideas that make you pause and look at your hands or a cup of coffee completely differently. I don't want to spoil any, but one of them genuinely changed how I think about time!

What's in the game:

- 300 levels across 6 chapters, each introducing a new mechanic and ending with a big boss level

- Daily level (the same challenge for everyone every day)

- Endless mode with randomly generated levels

- 11 languages and full offline play

Bonus: you can play as a cute kitten wearing a space helmet (purely for science, of course!)

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sekhmeh.blackhole.game

I'd love honest feedback.

And out of curiosity: what's the one thing about space that still blows your mind?

90 wishlists in about 20 days with no marketing budget. Is that a decent start?

My arcade racer Super Retro Race just hit 90 wishlists after about 20 days, with no marketing budget. I'm happy people are finding it, but I honestly have no idea if that's a decent start. How does it compare to your experience?

If arcade racing is your thing, I'd really appreciate a wishlist. There's a free demo too:
