General Discussion Skinny as hell but somehow only gaining belly fat. What am I doing wrong?
I’m 30, 6’0” and 165 lbs, and I can barely bench 88 lbs. Shit is honestly embarrassing lol.
I really wanna put on some size because I’ve always been kinda skinny with a narrow frame, but it feels like no matter what I do, the only thing getting bigger is my stomach.
I train full body 2-3 times a week, but I feel like I’m doing something wrong.
Anyone here who started out skinny and actually managed to build a decent amount of muscle? What worked for you? I feel like I either stay skinny or just get fatter. How do I actually bulk without looking like I’m just getting a gut?

Workout plan Upper / Lower / Arms Split Advice
I've been training for a while and have already built some muscle. I'm currently following an Upper / Lower / Arms split, and I'd like some advice on how to improve my program for muscle growth.
I'd appreciate feedback on my exercise selection, weekly volume, and whether I should make any changes to the routine.
My Upper / Lower / Arms Workout Routine
Upper 1 — Chest, Back, Shoulders & Arms
Incline Dumbbell Bench Press — 3 × 6–10
Lat Pulldown (Cable) — 3 × 6–10
Barbell Bench Press — 3 × 6–10
Seated Cable Row (V-Grip) — 3 × 6–10
Dumbbell Lateral Raise — 3 × 12–15
Barbell Biceps Curl — 3 × 8–12
Rope Triceps Pushdown — 3 × 10–15
Upper 2 — Chest, Back, Shoulders & Arms
Barbell Overhead Press — 3 × 6–10
Lat Pulldown (Cable) — 3 × 6–10
Incline Chest Press (Machine) — 3 × 8–12
Seated Cable Row — 3 × 8–12
Dumbbell Lateral Raise — 3 × 12–15
Dumbbell Hammer Curl — 3 × 8–12
Overhead Cable Triceps Extension — 3× 10–15
Cable Chest Fly — 3 × 10–15
Lower — Legs, Glutes & Calves
Bulgarian Split Squat (Dumbbell) — 3 × 8–12
Barbell Hip Thrust — 3 × 8–12
Leg Extension (Machine) — 3 × 10–15
Lying Leg Curl (Machine) — 2 × 10–15
Standing or Machine Calf Raise — 3 × 10–15
Arms Day — Biceps, Triceps & Forearms
Barbell Biceps Curl — 5 sets: 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 reps, progressively increasing the weight
Rope Triceps Pushdown — 5 sets: 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 reps, progressively increasing the weight
Dumbbell Concentration Curl — 3 × 8–12
Barbell Skullcrusher — 3 × 8–12
Dumbbell Hammer Curl — 3 × 8–12
Dumbbell Overhead Triceps Extension — 3 × 8–12
My questions:
- Is my weekly volume sufficient for muscle growth?
- Am I doing too many exercises or too much arm volume?
- Are there any exercises you would replace or add?
- Is this a good routine for a beginner looking to build muscle?

Workout plan Should I go from PPL to full body? New program looks heavy, though...
Hi everyone,
I’m a beginner looking for some feedback on my new workout routine. HAve been training for almost a year and a half now; for the first year, I followed a PPL split and recently it was suggested that I switch to a full body.
I like the idea as it feels more varied and dynamic but the new program I was given seems a bit overwhelming for a single session...
Could you please take a look at it and tell me what you think? MAny thanks in advance for the help!:

Progress – Before/After (17)m is this a good transformation for 15 months
15 months of lifting
Went from 62 kg to 81 kg in 15 months, and my bench went from 80 kg to 135 kg.
All of my friends are on SARMs/steroids, but honestly I think my physique looks way better than theirs Am I actually making good progress, or am I just biased because it's my own physique? I’m also on 70 mg vyvanse so it has been very hard to bulk if anyone has tips it would be greatly appreciated Thanks 😊
