Mod Announcement 📣 Official Announcement: Welcome to Rump Day! 🍑

Hey Fit Fam,

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Rump Day! Our brand-new weekly tradition dedicated to glute glory. 💪 Every Wednesday, the subreddit will officially open its (rear) gates to posts showing off your glute gains, progress, and peachy achievements.

Here’s how it works:

  • 🗓️ When: Every Wednesday, all day long.
  • 🍑 What: Glutes-only progress pics, discussions, tips, and celebrations.
  • 🚫 When Not: Any other day of the week, glute posts will be auto-removed faster than a squat rep gone wrong.

So mark your calendars, flex your hamstrings, and get ready to make midweek something special. Remember: it’s not just Wednesday anymore…

It’s Rump Day!

Mod Announcement Rules Updates and Clarifications

Thank you all for being members of the community.

We have updated some of the rules and wanted to clarify and expand upon the changes.

Be Respectful - This is pretty straightforward and unchanged. No being rude to other people or making sexual advances towards others. Complimenting someone is fine, but crossing the line into overt sexual commentary or innuendo is not fine. We are here to build each other up in a respectful manner.

Posts Must Be Specific To Fitness - Asking someone to critique your physique, asking for workout advice, or pictures to show off gains is fine. Pictures without context, advertising your services/socials, or posts not bearing any relation to fitness are not.

No Spam - Advertising services, links with referral codes/affiliates, or posts along those lines are not okay.

No NSFW Posts - This is a fitness-related sub, and many people involved in fitness and showing off their bodies skirt the boundary of NSFW adult content. We are focused on the fitness aspect, and there are plenty of other subs that focus on the adult content. Keep this sub clean of overtly sexualized content.

Many posts will be sexually suggestive due to the nature of the sub. When posting risqué content, we look at the account to make a judgement if this is allowable or not. Accounts that post NSFW or pornographic material to other subs are held to a higher level of scrutiny than accounts; this generally means we won't allow any suggestive content from you. If your account only has a history of posting sexually explicit materially, we likely will not allow any content to be posted from you.

I’m not sure to be proud. I stopped tracking my calories recently. And I noticed I’ve been a bit heavier since I stopped, which it was kinda a pita to track. I’ve always been really skinny, so it’s just different. But this is me. Do I look fit? Should I do a cut closer to the end of the winter? Idk im kinda going through a weird phase right now lol

Physique Critique Body fat % Estimation & advice

I’m trying to get a rough idea of what my bf % might be and advice for leaning out. I have been struggling to lose fat in my lower half and unsure if I need to just stick with things or try a different approach. I used to do heavier lifting a few days a week for the past few years along with running and spending most of my days pretty active between working an active job and active hobbies outside of the gym. Now I do mostly low impact cardio and Pilates or weight lifting with lighter resistance since I’ve been struggling with joint issues. I do 30-120 minute workouts 6-7 days a week (low resistance) and get 12-30k steps a day. I eat pretty healthy and make most of my food at home with most of it being fruits, veggies, and lean protein sources with treats mixed in throughout the month and I rarely drink alcohol, so I’d say my diet is pretty close to an 80/20 split. I’m feeling much happier with my physique and lifestyle now than I have been, but I’m feeling stuck on improvement. I’m looking for long term changes to lean out just a bit more maybe 15lbs or so, but I’m struggling with these pounds.

Been focusing on compound lifts such as bench (also incline), squat, deadlift, seated overhead press, weighted pull-ups, and so on. Also noticed how I got leaner by starting combat sports (best fun cardio).

Squat - 415 lbs, Incline Bench - 265 lbs, Deadlift - 385 lbs, Seated OHP - 235 lbs, Hip Thrust - 525 lbs, Weighted Dips - 140 lbs, Weighted Pull-ups - 115 lbs.

Finally hit 165 (black hat) and now will cut. How long to get to 10% body fat do you think? I’ll be at about a 200-300 deficit and still lifting heavy.

Was about 155 last year this time (no hat). Similar body fat as today from mirror.

47 currently 194lbs. Been dropping body fat pretty well on current cut. But can't seem to get low enough to drop the fat around navel area 😆. What else can I improve. In about 2 weeks going on. 12 week mini clean bulk, then into contest prep cut timeline.

Beginner Help How do I get in shape?

• Upvotes

I know it's a dumb question, but I'm 21 and have been wanting to get fit since I was 15 at least. I can't stay consistent when I try to cut back on sweets and commit to exercise, and I really have no idea what I'm doing or even what exercises to do. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been working out pretty consistently for the past month but I just think my body could be better if I just locked in with my diet.

Like I’ll eat nothing at all all day especially if I’m at work and then I’ll eat like a steak and something and like some sweet treat so like it’s completely unbalanced and not fueling me properly but like at the same time I don’t wanna eat too much since I want to lean out 💔

So what’s a girl to do 🧘🏾‍♀️

Progress – Before/After How's my progress? I've been doing gym and calisthenics for 6 years.

So, for the past six years, I haven't followed a strict diet. But a month ago (September 1, to be exact), I finally decided to get lean.

I'm really insecure about my chest because it looks feminine, lol, and I'm also insecure about my overall physique.

Do you think getting down to 10–12% body fat would make my muscles more visible, improve my overall physique and fix my chest? I was thinking i have bad genetics.

What should my target weight be if I want to get lean?

I'm starting to lose hope in my progress so far.

note: I'm not flexing in my photos, and I had just finished a meal before taking my latest photo.

height: 168cm
