I have this weird habit of buying snack foods that are clearly about to be discontinued or that I remember from my childhood but can barely find anymore. I like to keep a stash of them unopened. Is there a place where other people do this or talk about these kinds of specific forgotten snacks?

Please, PLEASEE, no one lecture me on how I shouldn’t hurt myself and shit, I PROMISE, nothing you will say hasn’t been said before, and I will not be responding to those comments.

I deleted my last account amidst a breakdown last month, so I’m not new to Reddit, just on a new account.

I lost the sub Reddit I used to be on, it’s name was just “self harm” but when I look that up the only results are:

r/Self_HarmPictures
r/cutting
r/AdultSelfHarm
r/selfharmcope
r/selfharm_
r/SuicideWatch
r/selfharmpicturse
r/selfharmmemes
r/Selfharmscarsrecovery

It’s none of these tho

The icon had the Reddit alien on it, and if you looked closer, it also had lines on one arm. There was a “is this self harm?” Megathread too.

I just recently bought a canon rebel t7 as a starter but what can I do to get better quality, better lighting, is this camera good for motion pictures? Where can I ask these questions and get help I can’t afford a class right so self learning is all I can do

I've been banned from every major autism subreddit. They all suck.

Is there one with extremely lax rules?

Asking cause I am temporarily suspended from no stupid questions and I don't know why so I wanna know if there's any temporary solutions?

(I do have my own no stupid questions-esque subreddit but that's new and has no members)

I develop small Android apps (Kotlin) and I also take part in closed testing for other developers, where I test their apps and leave feedback. I am looking for a place where I can share dev experiences and ask for advice, and also find people to test my own apps. What subreddits do you recommend? So far I have looked at r/AndroidDev and r/androiddev, but is there anything friendlier for beginners?

I chose to build alone from home instead of going to regular college. It sounded like a great idea, until the loneliness hit.

My friends aren't here. Everyone's moving forward, and some days I feel left behind. I love my family, but I miss new faces, random conversations, and laughing about stupid things.

I love writing, and I'm trying to become a ghostwriter and content marketer.
I've been writing on X, but I want to find people who are figuring things out too.
I'm brand new here and can't even tell which communities to join or how to get involved without doing it wrong.

So, a few questions:
1. Which subreddits are good for beginner writers or people building alone?
2. How did you start getting involved when you were new?
3.Is there a place here where people just talk about nothing important?

I’m currently feeling demotivated, and life isn’t going well for me. Really need this right now.

ok so i am for the Bostin children's hospital making a gridfinity case for the endocrinology diabetes department and need to find a few things for said project the entire thing is 3d printed but 6 screws and a ice pack that i need to find (the main reason I'm making this post) if anyone can point me to a subreddit that would let me ask for help searching for very specific items in this case a small but durable ice pack that doesn't exceed 5 inches in length and 1/4th of and inch in width and 4inches in height that would be amazing sorry for the rant

I find freckles should be a beautiful attribute of women and I'd love to find a subreddit that has them or redheads besides that I would just say that I hope right it does very well in the future I love people I'm very generous I'm a Christian and I am looking forward to God taking care of all people on earth

The site seems like it skews younger (at least my feed does recently). I’d like to see more comments and posts from older demographics. Any recommendations are appreciated.

Where people post bad advice, not just ask.

I'm currently obsessed with planners and planning to get a Hemlock & Oak and would love to find a reddit dedicated to this brand. I've joined a couple other planner communities but wonder if there's one for this specific planner.

I’m trying to reconnect with two old friends, Robert and Yukie, whom I knew in 1987.
Robert was an American from the San Francisco Bay Area who taught English in Japan around that time. They visited me in Manila in September 1987, and I saw them again in San Francisco around 1991.
I have old photographs and a handwritten postcard, but unfortunately I’ve forgotten Robert’s last name.
Does anyone know of a subreddit that helps people reconnect with old friends or find appropriate alumni communities?
I’m not looking for private personal information, just a way to get a reunion message to them.
Thanks for any suggestions!

So I’ve been sitting on this for a while because I had NO clue he had a huge following online.

I’m looking for a music community sub to find info about this influencer who makes skit videos in a record store and apparently does a ton with music. Well I matched with him or someone pretending to be him on tinder.

I made a tinder to network with my band and made it CLEAR that I was NOT interested in hookups. I didn’t get a screenshot because at the time it was just some random creep on tinder.

He was saying the MOST VULGAR things to me before immediately unmatching me after I tried talking about my music multiple times. I’m ngl I was pumped because his style was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for until he started coming at me with all of that.

Is there a sub for discussing “famous” music influencers like that?? It doesn’t even have to be a sub strictly for that but I’m trying to gather intel…

I just wrote it off until I started seeing this guy ALL OVER MY FYP and I was like holy shit THATS HIMMMMMMMMMM.

I know there are some DIY reddits but the ones I've seen to be for experienced people sharing their home improvement projects.

I just have a situation where one of the wooden slats on my bed is chipping into the frame and I'm hoping to get advice on what to do before it gets worse.

Does anyone know of a reddit that would be appropriate to ask this question? I am a total novice to DIY and a bit worried they'd laugh at me in those other groups.
