You are already enlightened

Hello my friends, this is a follow up after a previous post from a while back. If you “think” you’re enlightened, then you’re not.

I think there’s something deeper here and it is simply this - you are already enlightened.

I’m not quite sure how to explain this, but essentially I believe all paths lead back to the source. All experiences are valid, have been chosen, and consciousness/source/the watcher/I am has created multiple laws and distortions to perceive itself within that experience.

It is all play. Even the suffering - a delicacy, something different, an exciting dish in the infinite course meal that is existence itself.

I used to think people are asleep - this is one particular distortion, but a perfect one to witness existence in a particular way. (I also drift back into this at times, because trauma and conditioning is a hell of a drug, and judgement is a survival tool+a byproduct of separation - from my understanding of the primordial laws of existence)

You are perfect. Perfectly distorted. Like each grain of sand is unique. And also through you shines free will, and a spark of something undying and possibly divine.

If it does not seem enlightened, or you do not, or if someone else does not, it has been painstakingly curated for you (and maybe by you) to experience that.

Sometimes we win. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes we lose. The wave then crashes back into the ocean. Sometimes the ocean realises what it is… and yet in paradox is also all the waves not realising it is the ocean.

We are one? It makes sense? We are love? This makes even more sense, because all choices are made in service - either to the separate self, or the whole self. But I digress.

Yes there’s suffering. Yes there is the negative. This is because we have a body that may die. This creates millions of outcomes at all moments that the body’s processing is always calculating for - and a house of mirrors for the soul/consciousness within to navigate until self-realisation.

It takes a lot of invention to make something that knows everything and is everything - to not know everything and feel alone, or lost, or angry that people feel alone or lost.

Honestly this post has no point - it’s almost as if I’m pointing to you saying “you are breathing.” We are. It is. I am.

All distinctions and separation are just a coat of paint wilfully adorned to experience oneself.

Although I would say we struggle to do, when we could revel in the being that gets to do the doing. But again - valid choice.

I’m going to talk myself in circles here. So I’ll end my post. Much love.

To you who believe there is value in fitting in, notes by ordinary nobody 🎐

Beloved, you are constantly clinging to others. If someone is eating fried potatoes, you want fried potatoes as well.

If someone is enjoying a sweet, you want a sweet as well. If someone is playing a small whistle, you shout, 'Mother, purchase me a small whistle as well!'

And that applies not only to kids.

When spring arrives, you allow spring to sway your mind. When autumn arrives, you allow autumn to sway your mind. Everybody is merely waiting for something to sway their mind. Some even earn a living swaying minds, they create marketing.

Humans adore internal turmoil.

Simply view the movie advertisements outside the picture house: nothing except internal turmoil across their faces.

As a ordinary nobody my direct realization is, Zen teaching signifies not placing yourself at the whim of internal turmoil.

In society, however, huge commotion is generated over zero.

It aligns with being an average human: they can merely perceive through the eyes of shared foolishness.

Being encircled by champions and gathering the bravery to act like a champion yourself, there is nothing particularly brave regarding that. A burglar states to his child, “If you do not cease immediately with your cursed truthfulness, you will never become an honorable burglar like myself. You are an embarrassment to the trade!”

Humanity puts on a sharp expression and speaks about being ruler over the world. And simultaneously they do not even understand where to start regarding their personal frame: they view athletics on screens and justify themselves stating that everybody else performs it as well.

We exist within collective foolishness and mistake this craziness for real living.

It is crucial that you grow clear to yourself and awaken out of this craziness. Sitting meditation signifies departing from the collective and stepping with your own two legs.

Individually individuals remain tolerable, yet once they create factions, they begin becoming foolish.

They sink into collective foolishness. They are so eager to become foolish together that they establish organizations and contribute dues.

Sitting meditation, Zazen signifies departing from collective foolishness.

Discussion What do you think Buddha knew but never shared with his disciples?

There is a story in Buddhism in which Buddha compares the knowledge he has shared with his disciples to a handful of leaves in his hand, while the knowledge he knows but has not taught is like all the leaves in the forest.

Think about that comparison for a moment. A handful of leaves compared to an entire forest. If we take this teaching seriously, the difference in knowledge seems enormous.

It makes me wonder what Buddha might have known that he chose not to share with his disciples. What were those countless leaves of knowledge that remained untaught? What could he have understood about existence that went far beyond what he chose to teach?

I'm particularly interested in what Buddha might have known beyond what he chose to teach his disciples.

What do you think that untaught knowledge could have been?

Discussion Are there problems?

I'm aware of thoughts appearing that suggest things are not right... not good enough or problematic... which causes distress... I tend to put my focus on my body in such situations rather than on ruminating. I nice long deep breath for example and to just be still...

There is a body sitting, thinking but there isn't actually a problem per say... just thoughts arising suggesting things ought to be different.

Any suggestions, pointers, perspectives? :) Thanks

Comparative Discussion Moving Away from time

I have been going through my second awakening and lately I have been feeling the need to be separated from time. It started with clocks bothering me. I once read this post of the way someone described what it’s like once the universe starts talking to you. I started to see certain numbers all the time and started getting overwhelmed. I started with covering up the clock on my stove as a way to kick the habit of wanting to check it every time I walked by. Then I removed the time from my laptop, and then I changed the timing on my iPad. I feel the need to train my mind to absorb a new pattern of not rely on top but the guidance of feelings and intuition.

Last night I was watching something, and I got lost in time and I didn’t realize it until after that I was just so immersed in something that I had no thoughts, no questions no concerns. This is new to me but also fascinating because I want to shield my mind from time

If anyone has had this happened to me or can share their experience of it, I appreciate it

Thank you in advance

Discussion Open letter to all psychoactive substance users here

There’s a dangerous assumption running through a lot of spiritual spaces right now. Including this one.

That certain molecules can deliver what years of ordinary attention supposedly cannot. That a strong enough experience will finally dissolve the ego, open the heart, or hand over the realization that normal life keeps withholding. The language is almost always elevated: medicine, sacred journey, ego death, awareness of God.

And for a while it works.

The walls thin. The usual mental noise collapses. Something vast or empty or loving appears. People return glowing, certain that something irreversible has happened.

Then the glow fades.

Ordinary mind returns with interest. The same restlessness, the same subtle dissatisfaction, the same quiet verdict that this still isn’t it. So the next journey is booked. Or the one after that. The experiences stay vivid in memory while the actual weight of daily life remains largely untouched.

What rarely gets said out loud is how perfectly this continues the old spiritual pattern: something special must happen to you before you can be free. Only now the special event is chemical. The one who is searching does not disappear. It simply acquires better stories and a new substance or ceremony to organize its hope around.

There is a difference between a temporary loosening of the sense of self and the actual lightening of how life is carried when nothing extraordinary is happening. One can be scheduled. The other cannot.

When the afterglow disappears and the urge to go back in appears, it is worth looking cleanly at what is being chased. Another rented experience?

Another temporary holiday from the ordinary mind?

Or a quieter relationship with the life that is already here when no substance is rewriting it?

Some will insist the substances are only tools and that integration is everything. This is a fair argument in theory.

But in practice, do you also notice how often the tool remains the center of the conversation.

Dosage, intensity, the quality of the last peak, the timing of the next one. It very subtly becomes a chase for the next high.

The present moment is treated as incomplete unless it is chemically enhanced.

Getting lighter does not require chemically enhanced altered states.

It requires staying with what is already present, including the restlessness that keeps reaching for the next experience.

The substances can show you a door.

They cannot walk through it for you.

And they will , once their glow fades, only give a harder time of becoming who you intended to become by using the substance in the first place.

Final note:

I wrote this piece not as an attack, but as an offering to reflect upon. I have been in the loop of using substances to chase higher states of being myself.

So this is also a reflection I have written for myself. See it as part of the process of freeing myself from the thought I need these things to become someone else.

Life for me is in embracing it in all aspects, nowadays especially the more mundane or boring parts.

The core of religions and spirituality seems to be: "you're not the pilot, dissolve yourself"

The core or religions and spirituality seems to be: love + "you're not the pilot, dissolve yourself." Or to expand on that:

You are / your self is a neural loop that generates craving and anxiety, in order to drive the organism towards biologically useful behavior.

Dissolving you / dissolving this self ends “second arrow” suffering, it “frees up RAM” and it makes the organism enlightened.

Dissolving you is how love can pour forth unimpeded. You’re not the source of love -- love is the organism’s base state. You and the craving and anxiety you produce is the impediment to love.

You were never the pilot, so your organism will keep functioning fine without you.

A flow state is the self stepping back temporarily, so roughly speaking a metaphor for enlightenment is "permanent flow state." Which shows that permanent self-dissolution really isn't as horrifying as it might sound like.

If you want to dissolve yourself, here’s one possible way you can do it:

First meditate every day, for at least five minutes per day. Do this for six months. If you miss a day, no big deal, just get back to meditation tomorrow. Or if you were already meditating for 6+ months before you read this essay, you can skip this step.

After those six months of meditation, add this practice on top of your meditation: whenever you have a thought anywhere during the day, you just constantly bring your attention back to your wordless sense of beingness (i.e., that you exist and are present).

This is sometimes called the “I am” instruction, but it’s not “I am” as some kind of declaration that you are one with the universe or one with some “greater” being. In fact, you’re not even thinking the words “I am.” Instead you’re bringing your attention back to your wordless sense of beingness.

So for example, if a thought arises such as “I am hungry” or “hopefully my presentation next week goes well”, you just bring your attention back to your wordless sense of beingness. Keep doing this constantly over a period of years, and you may eventually reach enlightenment.

You’re not fighting or disagreeing with your thoughts. You’re just constantly bringing your attention back to your sense of beingness, and that is all.

------

Now let's look at a list of pointers from religions and spirituality to "you're not the pilot, dissolve yourself":

Sri Ramakrishna used the metaphor of a salt doll who steps into the water and dissolves. Which sounds vaguely romantic, but remember that the salt doll is a metaphor for you.

One Sufi master used the metaphor of the Moth and the Flame: when the moth flies fully into the flame, enlightenment is attained and there’s literally no more moth.

Islamic Sufism talks about “die before you die”.

Zen Buddhism talked about “die while you are alive, and be thoroughly dead. Then do what you will, and all is good.”

Christian Mystic Meister Eckhart talked about “un-becoming.”

Taoist Chuang Tzu described a master practitioner as someone whose “body is like dry wood, and whose mind is like dead ashes.”

Chuang Tzu also said “The perfect man has no self”

Taoism’s Wu Wei is “action without a self.” (Contrary to the rest of this list, here I’m taking some translation liberty. There’s a Telephone / Chinese whispers game going on where the teachings from enlightened people have reached you via multiple unenlightened people, who aren’t going to transmit “action without a self” faithfully. Hence enlightenment concepts get sanded down into something that unenlightened people do like such as “Wu Wei means effortless action.”)

Bhagavad Gita 3.27 said: “All actions are performed by the modes of material nature. But the fool, deluded by the-I-maker [ahankara], thinks ‘I am the doer’”.

Bhagavad Gita 5.8 said: “The wise who knows the truth thinks: “I do nothing at all””

Bhagavad Gita 11.32 said: “Even without you acting, these [enemies] arrayed and battle-ready before you will surely and without exception no longer exist.”

Bhagavad Gita 18.59 said: “If, taking shelter in the-I-maker [ahankara], you think ‘I will not fight,’ your resolve is useless. Nature will compel you to act anyway.”

Also, the Bible, Matthew 16:24 has Jesus saying: “Deny / disown yourself”

Bible, Galatians 2:20 said: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”

Bible, Matthew 16:25 said: “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”

Bible, John 3:30 said: “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

Bible, John 12:24 said: “Very truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” (”Very truly I tell you” indicates insistence and emphasis. It means that what’s going to follow is counterintuitive but also true and critical to understand.)

Bible, Galatians 6:3 said: “If anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.”

The Buddha talked about extinguishing [nirvana], so that you reach no-self [anatta].

You give a machine (a self) an unsolvable riddle to crash it (dissolve it), and indeed, koans are unsolveable riddles. Whereas you’d never give a machine an unsolveable riddle if you wanted to upgrade it.

And modern science is also on board with all this: enlightened person Gary Weber has near-zero baseline activity in the self-referential nodes of the Default Mode Network.

Plus modern neuro-science has found that decisions are made subconsciously first, and only after that do you consciously “make the decision.” In other words, you’re not the pilot.

----

In particular cross-reference the Bible, John 5:19: “Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing.”“ (Again, note the “very truly I tell you” emphasis and insistence.)

Compare that to Bhagavad Gita’s “All actions are performed by the modes of material nature. But the fool, deluded by the-I-maker [ahankara], thinks ‘I am the doer’”.

These are clearly two completely different cultures with completely different worldviews expressing the same fundamental love + “you’re not the pilot” truth. And Taoism’s Wu Wei and modern neuroscience point in that same direction too. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Personal Experience The Divine Comedy: A Portrait of Collective Karma (Be Careful)

• Upvotes

The Divine Comedy: A Portrait of Collective Karma

On the other side of this writing lives someone who has spent a lifetime observing, experiencing, and understanding the world through details that many people simply overlook. I have written throughout my life, but only now have I decided to place myself in a creative position, to put those observations into words and deliver something meaningful to those willing not only to read, but to comprehend.
What I am about to share comes from personal experience, reflection, and a certain clarity I have developed while navigating a world where beliefs, religions, and philosophies constantly compete to explain the meaning of our existence. I do not pretend to possess every answer, nor do I expect everyone to agree with my interpretation of life. However, I do believe there are truths we can recognize through experience, particularly when we begin questioning the reality we have been taught to accept.
And perhaps the most important truth I have come to understand is this: Do good for yourself, develop your character, protect your peace, and above all, find your purpose.

Every human being enters this reality with a purpose, yet so many spend their entire existence pursuing someone else’s. We become involved in other people’s ambitions, conflicts, beliefs, and expectations until eventually we lose sight of our own direction. What makes this particularly troubling is that we often mistake participation for progress. We convince ourselves that because we are constantly moving, constantly engaging, and constantly pursuing something, we must be getting somewhere.
But movement without purpose is nothing more than wandering.

Today, we live in a world overwhelmed by influencers, self-proclaimed teachers, ideological movements, and endless sources of information. Everyone seems to have discovered the correct way to live, and everyone wants an audience willing to follow. What many fail to realize is that the more time they spend following another person’s direction, the further they may be moving away from their own.
And time, unlike almost everything else we possess, cannot be recovered.

There is something deeply tragic about reaching a certain point in life and realizing that the years you spent pursuing acceptance, recognition, or someone else’s ambitions could have been invested in discovering who you truly were. I have observed this repeatedly: people who become resentful, disappointed, and emotionally exhausted, not necessarily because life denied them opportunities, but because they never truly lived the life they wanted.
Yet I believe there is another dimension to this tragedy, one that extends beyond the physical reality we currently inhabit.

And this is where the concept of karma, both individual and collective, begins to take shape.

We exist in a reality shared by billions of other conscious beings, each carrying individual experiences, intentions, and consequences. Although we experience life separately, our actions constantly intersect. What one person does can influence another, and what a group collectively accepts can eventually determine the conditions under which entire communities live.

This is what I understand as collective karma.
Individual karma concerns the consequences of our personal decisions, the actions we take, the people we hurt, the good we accomplish, and the intentions behind our behavior. Collective karma, however, develops when groups of individuals participate in, encourage, or normalize actions that eventually affect everyone involved, including those who never consciously agreed to participate.
An entire city can become consumed by greed. A society can normalize cruelty. A generation can become so distracted by material ambition that it gradually abandons its spiritual responsibility.
And the disturbing part is that most people participating in these realities never recognize what they are contributing to. They simply follow.

This is why I place so much importance on conscious awareness. Before we can determine whether our actions are right or wrong, we must first understand our role in this existence. We must question our intentions, examine our behavior, and develop the ability to recognize when our decisions are being influenced by emotions that do not serve our higher purpose.
Hatred, jealousy, envy, resentment, and greed are not merely unpleasant feelings. They are forces that can gradually alter our perception of reality. Once we allow them to dominate our consciousness, our decisions begin reflecting those emotions, and what once appeared morally unacceptable can slowly become justified in our minds.
A person who spends enough time surrounded by cruelty may eventually stop recognizing cruelty altogether.
And that, to me, is one of the most dangerous forms of spiritual decline.

We possess free will. Every day presents opportunities to act with compassion or selfishness, honesty or deception, humility or arrogance. Yet our minds are constantly exposed to negative information, and without conscious discipline, it becomes remarkably easy to allow those influences to determine our behavior.
This is where I believe religion plays an important role, although not necessarily in the way religious institutions have traditionally presented themselves.
Throughout history, religion has been interpreted, manipulated, politicized, and used as an instrument of influence. In my personal interpretation, much of what surrounds organized religion has become distorted by human interests, while a smaller portion preserves the spiritual truths that originally gave those teachings meaning.

I sometimes describe that distinction as eighty percent human manipulation and twenty percent truth. Not as a mathematical conclusion, but as a reflection of how deeply I believe human ambition has interfered with spiritual understanding.
And it is that twenty percent I encourage people to search for. Whether someone identifies with Christianity or another spiritual tradition, I believe the essential principles remain worth examining: compassion, humility, forgiveness, self-awareness, and the responsibility to avoid causing unnecessary suffering.

Once those principles become part of your consciousness, something begins to change.
You become more selective about the people you entertain, the conflicts you participate in, and the energy you allow into your life. You stop feeling obligated to respond to every provocation. You begin recognizing that not every battle deserves your participation, and not every person who crosses your path is meant to accompany you toward your destination.

Gradually, your reality begins to reflect those decisions.
Opportunities that once seemed distant become more visible. Relationships develop with greater meaning. Your ambitions become clearer, and the things you once considered impossible begin to feel attainable.
Some call this manifestation. Others call it divine guidance. I see it as the alignment of consciousness, intention, and action, moving a person closer to the purpose for which they were created.

But there is another direction a person can take.
And this is where I return to Dante Alighieri and his extraordinary vision of the afterlife in The Divine Comedy.
Dante imagined an existence divided into spiritual realms, where the condition of the soul determines the nature of its journey. Through Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso, he presented a universe in which human actions carry consequences extending far beyond death.
What fascinates me about his work is not simply the punishment associated with sin, but the possibility that these spiritual conditions represent realities we are already experiencing, even while we remain alive.
Consider pride, envy, wrath, sloth, greed, gluttony, and lust, along with the deeper betrayals and spiritual corruption Dante explored through treachery and heresy.
How many people are already living inside these conditions?

How many wake up every morning consumed by envy, unable to appreciate their own existence because someone else possesses what they desire? How many spend their lives accumulating wealth without ever experiencing satisfaction? How many allow resentment to become their identity, until the very people they despise occupy more space in their minds than those they claim to love?
And how many participate in the suffering of others simply because everyone around them has convinced them that such behavior is acceptable?

Perhaps hell is not always a distant place awaiting us after death. Perhaps some people have already entered it without realizing where they are.

I believe consciousness does not simply disappear when our physical existence comes to an end. In my spiritual understanding, we are eternal beings, and death represents a transition rather than the termination of awareness.
We do not simply turn off.

We ascend or descend into realities that reflect the spiritual condition we have cultivated throughout our existence. Whether that transition leads us toward warmth, love, and greater closeness to our Creator, or toward conditions dominated by the very sins we allowed to consume us, is a question I believe deserves serious reflection.
Imagine opening your eyes after death only to discover that the emotions you spent your life cultivating have become the reality surrounding you.
Imagine spending an existence consumed by hatred, only to awaken among others who possess the same hatred, the same cruelty, and the same absence of compassion.
What would distinguish that existence from the hell Dante described?
And more importantly, how long would it take to escape a reality where everyone continues reproducing the very suffering that brought them there?
This is how I interpret the terrifying possibility of collective karma.

A person may enter a destructive environment through personal decisions, but once surrounded by others who share the same corruption, escaping becomes increasingly difficult. Negative behavior reinforces negative behavior. Cruelty becomes ordinary. Greed becomes ambition. Deception becomes intelligence. And eventually, those participating lose the ability to distinguish moral decline from personal advancement.

The deeper someone descends into that condition, the more difficult it becomes to recognize the light they have abandoned.
I have seen people build entire careers and lifestyles around taking advantage of others. Individuals who measure success exclusively through what they accumulate, regardless of the suffering required to obtain it.

Some become so comfortable with their position that they begin believing themselves untouchable, as though wealth, influence, or intelligence somehow places them beyond spiritual accountability.
But I believe every action carries consequences, even when those consequences are not immediately visible.
A person can enjoy extraordinary material success while experiencing profound spiritual poverty.
And the opposite is equally possible.
Someone with very little may possess a peace that no amount of wealth could purchase.

This is why I believe we must be particularly careful when greed and gluttony begin influencing our ambitions. There is nothing inherently wrong with wanting success, comfort, or financial independence. The danger begins when obtaining those things requires us to abandon compassion, exploit others, or convince ourselves that our personal desires justify the suffering we create.
At that point, what appears to be an ascension in the material world may actually represent a descent in the spiritual one.
And perhaps the Almighty, in ways we do not always understand, allows certain experiences to confront us with the consequences of our own behavior.

However, I do not believe every misfortune is punishment. Innocent people suffer, good people encounter tragedy, and life contains circumstances far beyond our control. Still, there are moments when our own decisions contribute to the difficulties we experience, and recognizing those moments requires a level of honesty that many people spend their lives avoiding.
So the next time something goes wrong, before immediately blaming the world, ask yourself whether there is something within your own behavior that deserves examination.
Have I treated others fairly? Have I acted out of resentment? Have I pursued something that required another person to suffer? Have I justified wrongdoing simply because it benefited me?
And perhaps the most difficult question of all:

How many people have I prevented from reaching their own purpose while pursuing mine?

Think about that for a moment.
One individual’s selfish decision can interfere with the lives of dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of people. A person in a position of authority can influence an entire community. A dishonest institution can destroy opportunities for generations. And when enough people participate in the same wrongdoing, the consequences no longer belong exclusively to one individual.
They become collective.
Yet the same principle applies to goodness.
One person’s compassion can restore another person’s faith in humanity. One honest decision can prevent years of suffering. One individual who refuses to participate in cruelty can interrupt a pattern that others have accepted as normal.

This is why doing good matters, even when no one is watching, even when there is no immediate reward, and especially when others have done wrong to you.
You do not have to become cruel simply because cruelty has been directed toward you.
You do not have to carry hatred because someone else has chosen to hate.
And you certainly do not have to abandon your purpose to participate in another person’s spiritual downfall.

We are all navigating different realities within the same existence. Some are discovering themselves, others are losing themselves, and many remain unaware that the decisions they make today may determine the conditions they experience tomorrow.

I cannot tell you with certainty what awaits us beyond death. No living person can fully describe that transition from personal knowledge. But I believe the condition of our consciousness matters, and that the way we treat others reveals far more about our spiritual development than any title, possession, or public declaration of faith.
Perhaps the greatest tragedy is not dying without having accomplished everything we wanted.
Perhaps it is spending an entire lifetime pursuing things that were never meant for us, hurting people we were supposed to help, and arriving at the end of our existence without ever understanding why we were here.
So when you find yourself lost, distracted, resentful, or surrounded by people whose behavior constantly pulls you away from your principles, question the direction you are taking.

Do not confuse belonging with purpose. Do not confuse wealth with fulfillment. Do not confuse popularity with wisdom, or the approval of others with the approval of your Creator. And above all, do not allow the darkness surrounding you to convince you that darkness is where you belong. Because if there is one thing I have come to believe, it is that our existence is not merely about surviving the reality into which we were born. It is about becoming conscious enough to recognize the reality we are helping create, both for ourselves and for everyone whose lives intersect with ours.

Dante imagined a journey through the depths of human corruption toward purification and, ultimately, divine light. I believe that journey begins long before we leave this world.
It begins with the decisions we make while we are still here.
And when the time comes for you to close your eyes upon this existence, whatever may await on the other side, I hope you have cultivated a consciousness capable of recognizing peace rather than suffering, compassion rather than hatred, and light rather than darkness.
Because one day, every one of us will awaken to another morning.

Make sure the reality you are helping create is one in which your soul would want to open its eyes.
And may that awakening bring you closer to your Creator.

Some people will never understand.

"That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand." Mark 4:12

Jesus talked in parables. And he said himself that some people would hear every word and still not get it.

Terry Davis said the same thing his own way. He built an operating system because he believed God asked him to. And he kept repeating that "nigger" would never understand. He called them "nigger," over and over.

I don't think he meant skin color. I think he meant something spiritual. The ones who can't receive it. Closer to what the Bible calls demons than to any race of people. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with Black people. I'm only interpreting his thoughts from a different angle.

I used to think that was about stupidity. I don't anymore. Some people hear the words fine. They just can't take them in.

You say green. They hear red. You explain it again, slower. They hear red again, louder.

Maybe that's what evil is. Something that can't receive the message, no matter how it's said.

So maybe you can't reason with evil. It doesn't understand reasoning.

Strange indeed. Perhaps we might reason with evil one day. I refuse to believe that has to be some hard boundary. Even though Terry and Jesus are pointing out that it might actually be one.

Discussion What’s the moment that made you question your worldview?

We all grow up believing certain things — about life, people, faith, culture, or how the world works.

I’m curious about the moment that made you stop and think, “Wait… what if I’m wrong?”

What was your ah‑ha, oh‑no, or everything‑just-shifted moment that made you question your belief system or the way you understood the world?

I’m looking for real, honest stories — big or small — from anyone willing to share.

Shows/movies about enlightenment

Go and watch Pantheon, the animated series. It lays it all out there, perfect. Don't read anything, just dive in and see what kicks as it truly can be seen as a Litmus Test of enlightenment. Or maybe not, only you can tell! It'll definitely make you feel something but, like I said, sight unseen for best practice...

What other shows/flicks wax lyrical on this topic and what did you pick up when watching then stop to consider at depth? Tenet is an interesting example, if you know what you're seeing. As is Ferris Buellers Day Off and its occult sequel - Election for it shows the ebb and flow of incarnation.

Whats your pick and why?
