According to the layoffs.com (https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1m5a0b0t7 ) offices less than 100 people are closing in EMEA. Rummor is that these offices are closing.

Countries closing list in next months (aproximate):
Bulgaria
Norway
Croatia
BiH
Lithuania
Slovenia
Latvia
Estonia
Cyprus

Some others like Serbia, Slovakia, Denmark, Finland might also not be spared

Anyone has any insight on this?

Asking for a friend.

One of the remaining Oracle offices in Manila has recently downsized. From occupying 5 floors, down to 4 last year, and now 2 more floors are closing.
So there’s just 2 floors now.

Yes, a lot of teams have transition to working from home post pandemic, but I can’t help but wonder if this is part of an exit plan down the line.

Personally, my psyche has been screwed up with all the uncertainties that I find myself pyscho-analyzing everything and I’m paranoid over every little thing. 😓

Any laid off Manager/Sr Manager/Director from Oracle India able to secure a new job . Just wanted to understand the condition of India market. my core domain is microservices and data platform.

If I subscribe to courses from upgrad, great lakes or any such similar platforms, can I log in and watch the contents from them?

If it is fine then is it safe to access when connected to VPN? Can I do hands on required in my laptop?

Warrenty has expired and I have applied for replacement, Will they allow to keep old one for data and code setups for few days or How is the process ?

Hi all,

I recently left Oracle due to the pervasive frustration and fear I experienced there. I have since joined a well-established company; however, this new division operates with a startup culture, where individuals are granted ownership over significant portions of the project. If you actually like and know how to build things from scratch. You can share your details and resume on the attached link below.

There are 3-4 openings currently and around 20 more openings are about to come in first quarter of 2027.

I may get in touch with you if I find your profile interesting.

The work is real here, so don't apply if you are not confident enough. I request you all to not apply with a fake resume.

Thanks,

Can we buy out the laptop once after we apply the resignation or layoff happens ?

Hi everyone,

I left Oracle NetSuite willingly few months back for a partner. I worked at Oracle for 5 years. I don’t enjoy the work I am doing at this partner firm and it isn’t how I expected. I don’t mind taking lesser pay, was wondering if there is some sort of waiting of time limit for rehires? Does anyone know?

Hey, recently had a query regarding the SRE role in OCI and other branches. Was thinking if it is still a good role at Oracle or the firing will still continue in that domain?

Majorly in IND , US

Hi everyone,

I recently received confirmation that my background verification (BGV) was successfully completed. My recruiter previously confirmed that the offer was internally approved, but the formal offer letter is still pending extension.

For those who have gone through Oracle's hiring process:

1. How long did it take to receive your offer letter after BGV clearance?

2. What are the remaining steps between offer approval and formal extension?

3. Has anyone experienced system-related delays during this stage?

Would appreciate anyone sharing their experience and timeline. Thanks!

I have a program manager role interview shortly with OCI, its more a technical role than pure PM. Would anyone have any tips or anything you wish someone told you going into this. I'm told at the screening call it's 6 or 7 interviews ahead seems alot .

Cheers
