I put the game aside for two weeks, hoping things would improve, but it's actually gotten even worse. At this point, I can't finish the game because of the constant stuttering.

Is there any way to request a refund through PlayStation? Their website says refunds are only available within 14 days of purchase, but this is a performance issue that has gotten significantly worse after an update.

Has anyone managed to get a refund in a similar situation?

Every where I go in this game I’m in awe at what they accomplished artistically, the world is just too good

The combat is insanely satisfying and just difficult enough.

This game feels like a melee version of Returnal/Saros ?!

The Dancer has been my favorite boss so far but the four I’ve fought so far have all been rly cool, just go through the Mold boss and that was a wild design too

I also want to clarify that unlocking all the weapons/abilities and passives all are apart of your build and not just for when you’re using each specific weapon right? Which is why the aberrant strength goes up each time right?

Im already at aberrant strength level 100 and my damage seem rly good and I havnt need assist mode yet, how’s everyone feeling about that game overall?

But there was an option to “apologize” as Dylan for any people he may have killed.

And I’m trying to rack my brain…why would anyone be mad at him in the first place? I can’t remember much of the first games - it’s been a while - but like…dude was kidnapped as a kid and experimented on. Was there actually something he did that was awful? I’m not saying killing is exactly justifiable, but like he was kidnapped and experimented on - seems like a lot of people had it coming. Unless I’m forgetting something about the first game???

I just finished the main story of Control Resonant and really loved the little inverted man charm (Astral Dive?) that Dylan wears on his FBC jacket.

I used the Cosplay guide released by u/remedygames for some reference images, super cool that they released all of that for everyone!

Could it be safe to assume(within the tinfoil town I’ve made for myself) that with the evidence of the nature of the siblings from CR. That the gap is a literal empty hole in Dylan’s mind. A missing piece, could that be why it is a blank canvas at the start. I went down this rabbit hole after looking at the inverted man charm Dylan has on his poncho and lead me to the conclusion Jesse and Dylan represent the two halve’s of a whole mind. Jesse being the logical left side and Dylan the creative right side.

Could also explain how Polaris and the Hiss could easily set up shop in their minds, it filled the void, Polaris being a structured repeating pattern, The Hiss abstract flowing like ink in water.

Thoughts?

In Quantum Break near the end we find this massive whiteboard with notes and plans the main antagonist Paul Serene did throughout the years. He mentions that at some point he started seeing visions from an entity called Artemis and that it showed him the end of his world.

Maybe they reused this idea into Polaris when they were making Control?
