I liked it. I would love to see it come back but then that fucks up traffic on Lake Shore.
Then again, they brought back Chicagoland Speedway down in Joliet, so that’s a fair trade off.
Although I wanna hear everyone’s opinion on it.

Was clearly on their phone and rear-ended someone at full speed, totaling their car. Fire truck had to block off all 3 lanes on the left because of one single idiot. This happens at least once a week. If you’re looking at the road there is literally no reason to crash on LSD. All you have to do is drive in a straight line 99% of the time.
I watched my ETA shoot up from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 12 minutes. Luckily it went back down eventually but what the hell guys. If you’re going to be a selfish dumbass can you do it somewhere other than one of the busiest roads at 5:30 pm on a Monday please

The South Side Home Movie Project's ever-growing collection provides a window into everyday life from a pre-digital era. It also provides an analogue lesson, passed from one generation to the next, in history and community.

I swear this field used to be open if nobody was using it. I think there's a pad lock now? Is this field only permitted for private use?

As the title says, my friend and I took advantage of the nice sun this afternoon to go for a swim by Fullerton. Unfortunately, his watch strap broke on the jump and his Garmin fell into the water.
Spent as much time as we could looking for it, since it must be very close to the shore, but couldn't locate it since the water is a little cloudy today. Just wondering if anyone here has the equipment or know-how to have a look for it, we'd be happy to give a reward for finding since it'll be an expensive replacement.
It was right by the Theater on the Lake, have photos of the exact location, but it was right beside the ladder located by the steps which have some graffiti on them saying "PY5D"
