Cannot be the main character of the story, but rather their closest companion. Try to avoid love interests, but if the character started as a friend and THEN became a lover, that's fine.

I'm also not looking for side characters who are friends with each other. This is specifically for the best friend of the main character (or characters, if it's a family sitcom or ensemble piece).

Be warned: I'm going to be rather strict on the definition for this one to avoid the usual string of villains that are going to pop up. A lot of Disney villains, for example, would NOT be considered an Arch-Nemesis.

I'm also limiting it to three characters per franchise. Otherwise Marvel and DC are going to run away with it. Be creative! Comics, movies, sitcoms, novels, I want em all!
