It's starting to get cold in our region. The first snow fell the other day. The temperature dropped to -4 at night. It's good that we have an indoor skate park. We're moving there.
I took a few shots over a couple of days of riding.

Took my son to FISE Shanghai over the weekend to catch the action live. He’s been obsessed with riding lately, so seeing the pros in person was an absolute dream come true for him.

The crowd energy was electric, but the highlight was definitely when he got to take a picture with his favorite rider. Huge respect to all the pros taking time out to chat and snap photos with the younger generation!

Unforgettable day for the kiddo and honestly, for me too.

Can anyone answer why, when a high quality version of Anthem II gets uploaded, it gets deleted within a month? I ask the question because this has been going on for 10+ years now. The only account that's had the Anthem sections for 15+ years? garretreynolds420, low quality but kinda just alright enough to get by... conspiracy?

So ive been working on a themed build for the oast w months. Everytime id go to paint or have the day off, it would either rain.. be severe humidity or some other form of issue. So i figured it was all due to that. But i think im missing something here, finally.

So yesterday was a prime day. Good mid 70s. Clear skies. Low wind. Low humidity, no rain. I threw on final coat (5.5 coats... really like 7 coats. But sanding in between to even and smooth and ass next layer)

Finally i get a good final coat on. And im 90% pleased with result.. all good. I let it dry overnight and next morning I throw on first of , what would be like 3 clear coat layers.. and i spray on clear coat , and almost immediately it causes a massive issue and cracks and rippled the paint. I immediately notice this is what was happening this entire team. Regardless of humidty. I get paint close to perfect with paint layer. And then go to clear clear coat and its destroying paint.... what am i missing?!? I have a halloween deadline.

Pics added are of just after final paint layer before.. and 5 mins after clear coat added. All paints used are in photos. Allowed atleast 6 hrs between paint layers. All paint was certainly dried and smooth. Prior to next layer. Or clear coat.

Most of my attempts end up around 90 because of tire rubbing. Even copious amounts of wax don’t help with this. Any advice would be appreciated, and thank you in advance!

Been riding like a month my bunny hops are coming along nicely but my manuals man I cannot get them to pop back enough to save my life I rode one for like 5 feet the other day and thats the best I've done so far with them any tips on either would be appriciated

Im finally giving myself the time to start to ride after 20 years!

Im testing out my cortisone shot in my knee as I do this. I got to say, im feeling good 3 sessions into it and no major problems. Swelling but ice has been helping that.

It feels good to have fun on a bike again. Now im looking for the old guy crew to ride with.

Was at my LBS and saw these. How lucky did I get? I’ve never seen this color before. Shop owner said they were 1 of 25 pairs. Either way I got em brand new with 10% off. Considering I couldn’t find them online I assume it was just dumb luck? Just thought they were dope and I’m stoked to have them and had to share.

First ride in 2 months.. been looking at this all summer.

Bought a 2022 Kink Whip XL for $150 past the Hollywood hills (Westlake Ca).

Seller listed it for $190 but I was able to talk him down to $150 ( he felt bad I drove 2 hours to the pick up).

He bought it new a few years back, rode it 5 times, fell and just stored it in the garage ever since.

After riding it around it feels better than my Haro Downtown with a 20.5 TT.

At 53, I feel like a kid again. 😊
