Need Help! Could someone help me bake the textures or do it for me?

Post image

For the past like, two days I’ve been trying to bake the textures on this Luigi model because I want to make a Roblox avatar of it but it’s really complicated because there are multiple layers of textures on top Another, if someone could help me or (if u are feeling generous) do it for me that would be super!
I would try and do it again on my own but I’m feeling really sick and drained :(

this is my first time "sculpting" (actually I took the default male mesh body from blender and started sculpting on top of it, saves a lot of time)
how can I make his face a lot more like the references, but stylized.

If anyone has got any tips or adjustments, please do tell, thanks!

Discussion Let’s be honest has anyone ever gotten sleepy or fallen asleep watching a tut?

I was watching a tutorial on how to make a lollipop in Blender, and goodness I say her voice was SO soothing that I almost fell asleep mid Blender session 😂😂😂

Im fairly new to blender trying to learn, but why am I getting sleepy?? I want to stay consistent in blender without getting tired but I understand it’s not the creators fault it’s me!

Tutorials can be so satisfying sometimes though Has this ever happened to anyone else I genuinely don’t want to be weird for this dude

Solved How to know if ai was used in a blender model

My friend who has never touched blender has made a church in about 5 hours. Even he did have experience, I'm pretty sure it would only be like 2 weeks. Not only did he make a really good church, but this was his second version with colour and third if you ignore colour. So 3 versions in total in 5 hours with very little experience?
Something is definitely off. For this discussion, let's assume his has 2 weeks of experience. He goes to school but does study or do homework, so let's say it's 40 hours a week.

Paid Product/Service Promotion Hey everyone — I’m the developer behind Wobble, a Blender add-on for adding soft-tissue secondary motion to characters.

It lets me add jiggle to selected body regions, adjust the motion with presets, then bake it into Geometry Nodes or bones. The bones option is useful if I want to take the result into a game engine. I made it because I wanted this kind of motion to be quick to art-direct without hand-building a separate setup for every character.

Here’s a short demo and the product page:

Superhive: https://superhivemarket.com/products/wobble

Gumroad: https://alastorv.gumroad.com/l/wobble

I’d be interested to hear how you’d use this in your character workflow.

Hey, I need a 3D model of a character "Capri" from the series Cbyerpunk Edgerunners 2, it should be low poly so it looks like her, the main hard part is her chaotic hair. The series is old only a few day so there isnt many refference. I would like it to be arround 20 E, though price can change. No rig required, but would apreciate it. Most importantly no AI. DM if you are interested and for more info.

Video refference

Need Help! How do I remake the same kind of rendering output in Cycles to Eevee???

Thumbnail

I have imported my Cyberpunk 2077 character and tried to tweak the rendering settings as much as possible to make the two rendering engines similar. My goal is basically to render the animations faster. However, I just don't get what I left out here in Eevee. I followed this tutorial ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGS0xp-XBqw )on getting the right setting, yet there is just so many things different. Currently Im thinking on moving to rendering the animation in unreal engine instead. I already got the knowledge of it so time is wasted but still, if it can be done in one program then that will be more preferred.

First one: Cycle

Second one: Eevee

Paid Product/Service Promotion Hey everyone — I’m the developer behind XScan, an add-on for making X-ray and 3D scan reveal shots in Blender.

The setup separates the model into its casing, internal parts and floor, then gives me controls for the reveal look and density per object. I built it to make those technical product shots easier to set up in both Cycles and EEVEE.

XScan is a paid add-on. I’ve attached a short example; details are here:

Superhive: https://superhivemarket.com/products/xscan

Gumroad: https://alastorv.gumroad.com/l/xscan

Curious what kinds of objects you’d try this on.

Need Help! Viewport stuttering/GPU spiking

I'm experiencing stuttering in the viewport, which lasts approx. 0.5-2 seconds, while performing simple operations on low poly models. No single operation seems responsible, as it can occur while moving or rotating < 10 vertices, or even just while panning in the viewport. In the example in the picture, I was scaling a single quad UV.

i7 12000KF
RTX 5060ti
16GB DDR5 6000Mhz
NVME SSD

As shown in the image, there is a corresponding spike in GPU usage. Same issue on latest driver and driver from Dec. 2025.

Any ideas? (Don't mind my windows activation, new machine xd)

Critique My Work Blender Animation Tips

I've been using Blender for a couple of weeks now. I think I did a decent job, but I think the background is extremely basic. I wanna ask how I could make my background a little less basic and a little bit more cinematic. Any other critiques are very much appreciated. Thank you!

Need Help! Animation query

This is hard to explain, basically i want to make an animation where cubes swarm around a cylindrical pivot starting off very stretched like raindrops then slowly increasing in size with some random spread and random sizes i am new blender animations however i know i need it as an actual glb/fbx animation, it's a teleport animation is their any way to do this easily? Maybe i have to use curves or something? 🫠 they should just sweep around the cylinder 🤔 any help would be very appreciated ❤️

Need Help! Blender thinks my Bluetooth Numpad is not a Numpad.

When remapping and switching to orthoprahic 1 for example the Bluetooth numpad 1 gets recognized by the remapping tool as by being the same as 1 on my normal keyboard when numlock is off, when its on it thinks its the end button on my keyboard. Only / *- + enter has the Numpad marker next to it the rest doesnt. Do i have to get another numpad or doesnt this work at any rate? I have the LogiLink ID0201. Dont wanna emulate that was the whole point of the bluetooth pad.

Hey everyone! I created this short 3D animation where cylindrical beads fall into place to form a pixel-art Jack-o'-lantern. Wanted to combine the cozy aesthetic of fuse/Perler beads with smooth physics simulation and a subtle Halloween vibe.

Made in Blender. Let me know what you think, and what object I should assemble next! ✨

Original Content Showcase Here’s a character I sculpted in blender!

Post image
0 Upvotes

Sculpting is awesome! I painted this in substance painter. And the picture is from unreal engine five.

There are eight materials, head, torso, left arm, right arm. Right leg, left leg, right mitten, left mitten, right boot , left boot.

The topology is good quads, as it’s going to be animated.

It’s about 200k polys.

In order to rig it to the armature with automatic weights, I had to scale it up by 100 first, parent it, and then scale it back down.

I am new to vertex painting, and my attempt at vertex painting failed which is why I used automatic weights!

Free Tutorials & Guides The "Expert" 😁

A little excerpt from my newest tutorial where I clearly know what I am talking about 😁

You can watch the full video here: https://youtu.be/EFH4wZeXu3w

It's my follow up tutorial to my Scissor Lift Video!
It shows an indirect control method for some rigging mechanisms.

All real time! No keyframes!

I show you how to Control the speed of a motor with a real control stick.
I'll teach you how to use Rigid Body Constraints, with all it's ups and downs (literally). How to set up an automatic motor and how to connect a control stick to the speed of that motor using a driver.

Enjoy 🙂

Discussion Is 26 too late to start learning 3D modeling and Blender as a career?

• Upvotes

I'm 26 years old, and I'm about to start learning 3D modeling, especially Blender.

However, I have two main concerns. First, I worry that I might be starting too late at my age. Second, I'm wondering how long it will take to learn the skills, become a professional, and start making money from it.

Do you have any advice for someone in my situation? I'd especially love to hear from people who have been through a similar experience.

How long did it take you to learn 3D modeling, and when did you start earning money from it?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences and any advice you can share. Thanks!
