Am I balding?
I've been really anxious for a long time. And it's making me feel awful at my 17. I'd go to the doctor soon to make sure but still I need to know whether I'm going bald or no? I have older photos n some right after washing my hair if it's needed

Hairloss Need your advice / Honest feedback (31M)
Hey everyone. I've been lurking here for a while and finally built up the courage to post. I'm 31, and for some time now, I've noticed my hair loss getting progressively worse.
A while back, I posted some pictures here asking for advice, and a lot of you suggested trying a style that suited my situation better—like a high fade to disguise the receding hairline. I tried it, but honestly, I'm still feeling really insecure as things keep thinning.
Lately, the idea of shaving it all off has been constantly on my mind. My biggest fear, though, is that my head is going to look huge—literally like an alien—or that the shape just won't suit me at all.
Did any of you go through this exact same fear before taking the plunge? How did you get past that initial hesitation of the first full shave? I'd really appreciate any advice, experiences, or honest feedback you can share. Thanks in advance!

Scalp moisturizer
What does everyone use to moisturize their bald scalp? My husband has been shaving his head for years and never uses anything other than aftershave on his scalp but it seems like he should be doing something more to care for his skin.

Question regarding “fuzz”
Do you shave the fuzz on the top, or keep it shorter if you have a bit on the sides? Or just trim it all at the same time?

You mods are dumbass pussies lol
Coward ass mutes me when his fragile little brain couldn't think of anything else to say. Ban me, thank you.

What do I do (25y old)
Do I stick it out, let it get worse or go BALD. Really unsure, but fear that it’s gonna get worse quickly!

Hairloss After 4 months of losing around 900 hairs on wash days, I decided to free myself mentally and shave my head almost down to the scalp.
My hair shedding started around April 2025, but it got worse in October 2025. I visited a dermatologist who suspected seborrhea. Even 3 months after treatment, my hair shedding hadn't stopped. I was still losing more and more hair, so I booked an appointment with a private hair specialist.
(I had to wait almost 3 months for the appointment. Getting an appointment with a doctor here in Central Europe feels like a miracle sometimes. 😂 I also had to keep my hair longer for the hair pull test.)
At first, I thought I might have alopecia areata incognita because a family member has it. But it turned out to be chronic telogen effluvium.
Blood tests at the end of August revealed that my ferritin level was just 9.6. Not good at all.
It can take almost a year to increase ferritin levels to 70+ ng/mL, which may help support healthy hair growth.
Watching around 200 hairs fall out every day, plus another 900 on wash days, was mentally exhausting.
So, for my own peace of mind, I shaved my head. And I feel so much better.
If you've been thinking about shaving your head because you're struggling with hair loss, do it.
The quality of life went up enormously.

Is it time?
My colleague has been pushing me to and I finally took a look at the top of my head before crying for a few minutes...
Is it time?...

Been rocking a very short buzz for years. Is the time for a full send off near?
Unintentionally rhyming title, but the urge to nuke it all has been rising lately 🤔 (Nuke the top, not the beard)

What’s the verdict?
I’m 30 years old and my hairline has slowly receded in the last 5 or 6 years, definitely insecure about it, always took pride in my hair, just wondering if it’s time and if it is could I possibly rock the bald look? I’ve been actively losing weight and lifting, preparing to possibly go bald. lol

Holding but I have a receding crown, seeking the council's feedback and styling suggestions.

Hairloss Am I just being anxious or do I need to let it go before it gets bad?
I figured I should consult yall to see if I’m tweaking or nah…
(side note I remade this post since my previous one had bad lighting.)

Bald Picture What is this on my scalp Spoiler
I get my head shaved every fortnight, I use an electric clipper and never gave me problems before this. Bought a new clipper and somehow had these bumps show up after my shave. No idea what's happening here. Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?

Hold, buzz, shave?
Hey friends, need some input. I buzzed my head back in April and the wife didn’t love it. I grew it back out and I can’t help wonder if it looks like I’m holding on. What does the council say? For reference I’m 40.

I give myself to the council. I am ready for your stones.

Don’t want to though!
So here’s the deal everyone. I am self conscious about this. When I was 15 and my now wife over 30 years was 14 she made a bald comment and it’s stuck with me. I know it’s stupid. I also have a “tall head” but where do we stand on this?
How-to Question Is it time?
Post on behalf of (and at the request of) my incredible, handsome husband of 10 years. This man will be sexy regardless of hair status, but he is starting to feel like it’s time (and I am here to support him whatever he decides!)
What do you all think? Should he take the plunge?
Bald Picture Seven years of effort gone…
Raised about three thousand dollars for breast cancer (Glenn McGrath Foundation). Of course it’s Australia so needed a skin cancer protection hat. 47 if that matters. This was a couple of months ago, have kept it off since.

Thoughts?
I want to join. My wife wants me to keep. Any opinion?
