Born and raised in austin but finding it harder and harder places to find and make friends. Young 20’s who works remote are there any places, groups or clubs to join that is not a total snooze fest but is a great place to meet new people. Thanks in advance!

I’m redoing a couple rooms in the house / deep cleaning and ordered quite a few things. Like 25-30 separate items many grouped together as same day, overnight and some more miscellaneous next day. Of the 6 separate orders I made over the past week, 1 has arrived on time. Everything else delayed to the following day at the least or is just sitting not moving now. It’s beyond frustrating

If anyone has a hydraulic press that is kind of portable. I will pay you money to come by and help press these things out.

I need to rent a room that can hold ten people for a few hours and I can't think of any places that might work for that besides the library. I know some breweries have tap rooms but I'm not really interested in setting up at a place that sells booze as a person who doesn't drink at all. I considered an airbnb but I need the time in the afternoon and most don't have check in until at least 3, and having ten different cars would probably be an issue. Suggestions anyone?

Helping a friend find ongoing care for a collection of tropical plants, mostly in pots. The regular lawn services are not the right fit. Hey everyone! I'm moving to Austin soon and am considering the lakseshore area. I love the proximity to the lake and trails, and the area seems very walkable. However, I'm seeing mixed reviews about safety.

Would you recommned the area? Any inputs on Bell South shore, Alexan , and Azul Lakeshore from current or past residents?

(side note : why do so many aparments not have windows in every room?!)

I'd like to find somebody competent and kind for allergy shots. I've done the drops but the idea that they're going to take 3 years to actually work seems silly to me. Plus, at the previous place I was going to, I felt like I was just being managed for money with no real stake in the outcome. The drops just never worked and the provider just never really cared.

The one guy I really had a connection with is a 50 min drive, and its just not feasible to go, hoping for in-person twice a week. The break up is not my choice at all, no big betrayal on my end, early 30s, have kids, my whole life is changing way too fast and Im at a breaking point. Always had terrible luck, usually find therapists that just dont feel like they give as shit. Do have insurance atm, but wont last. Im in the Pflugerville/RR/Hutto and desperately need the communities suggestions. Ty in advance. 😞
