Made an audio show app, Lissin for turning articles and notes into listenable episodes and many more things

Post image
23 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m building Lissin, an iPhone app that turns any topic, question, or document into a personal audio show. Most of us save articles, papers, and notes we never get around to reading, so I wanted a way to make them listenable on a walk or a commute.

🎧 What it does

  • Turn any topic or question into an audio episode
  • Listen to PDFs, Google Docs, Notion pages, Obsidian notes, PowerPoint decks, and research papers
  • Set up recurring shows that stay up to date
  • Browse shows on news, tech, sports, health, markets, learning, and stories for kids and adults
  • Get daily briefings for founders, engineers, PMs, investors, and security analysts
  • Adjust playback speed and add background soundscapes

💳 Plans

  • Free: $0, one starter show and 50 minutes of audio per week
  • Discount available: just Comment anything you wanna make from the app and I'll send u the way
  • Plus: $9.99/month, $69.99/year, or $3.99/week, with more minutes, transcripts, and daily delivery
  • Pro: $19.99/month, $199.99/year, or $6.99/week, with the most minutes, source monitoring, creator export, and priority support

📲 Get it on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lissin-personal-audio-shows/id6758897526

Android is coming soon, and you can also listen on the web at lissin.com.

Honest feedback is always appreciated, especially on what’s confusing or missing. Let me know what you’d try first! 🙌

Question / Discussion SocialLite lifetime Pro version

Post image
2 Upvotes

I downloaded SocialLite some weeks ago because of its function to block reels on instagram, but honestly rarely used it.
Today I opened the app to check something and suddenly a notification popped up that I was gifted lifetime pro access as an early user? Has anybody else experienced this? I mean I am not complaining as the app got much more useful but I’m still surprised by it.

App [DEV, iOS] Mole Tracker: keep dated mole photos together and export a PDF ($2.99 once)

I'm Aleksei, the developer of Mole Tracker: Skin Check Diary. This is for people who already take photos of moles or skin spots and later struggle to find the same spot's older pictures.

A separate Photos album and a note can be enough. Give each spot a consistent name/location, keep the original photo dates, and keep the originals when making a report. A PDF is useful to read, but it isn't a restorable photo backup.

What the app adds: a dated history for each spot, import from your existing library with date review/correction, side-by-side comparison with separate zoom controls, and PDF export with photos, dates and notes. There's also a separate manual backup and an optional Face ID/passcode lock. The diary stays in the app's local storage; device backup settings and anything you choose to export still apply.

It does not analyze images, measure growth, assess cancer risk or diagnose anything. It's a photo organizer, not a substitute for a dermatologist.

US $2.99 upfront, all features included, no subscription or in-app purchases. Regional prices vary. iPhone, iOS 17+.

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6762293988

If you already keep this kind of record, what gets in the way most: finding an older photo of the same spot, comparing dates, or putting a history together for a visit? Please don't post personal skin photos or medical details.

App [Self-Promotion] [iOS/macOS] [$69.99/yr → 1 Year Free] Neurowave: Patent Pending focus sound with CortexDrive Engine + a lock on your distracting apps, in one tap (500 codes)

Hi, I'm Pratik, the solo developer behind Neurowave.

I strongly believe your attention span and focus are the true real assets you have, every app on your phone is built by a team paid to win your attention. I built one that does the opposite with neurowave, and I'm giving away 500 free years of Premium so people can actually try it.

What it does:

- Focus and sleep sound generated live on your phone with Patent Pending CortexDrive engine, not a looped file. Turn the pulse up or down from level 1 to 5.

- Session Shield: pick the apps that eat your day and they're locked for exactly as long as your session. Built on Apple's Screen Time API, so even I can't see which apps you picked.

- After each session it tells you honestly how long you held and how many times you tried to escape.

- 4K moving Neuroscapes (space, coast, forest) you can leave on while you work.

Just comment and I'll DM you a code right away, . 500 codes, first come first served. I'll edit this post when they're gone.

Heads up: the free year renews at $39.99 unless you cancel (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). No catch otherwise.

If anything feels confusing (especially the Screen Time setup), tell me. That feedback is worth more to me than the code.

Download: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6766859557

It would mean the world to me if you guys can share feedback for the app. :)

[Android][Player] - Offline music & streaming radio with ready-to-play radios - 100% free - No premium version

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Mediaxon Music Player is an audio player for offline listening of music stored on your device (.mp3, .flac, .m4a, .ogg, .mka, .aac, .wav, .opus, .wma) and streaming FM radios (online radios).

Top radios on the first screen: When users access the radio screen, they immediately see the list of the top radios in their country, along with a long list of high-quality suggested radios from among the most listened to in the world (manually curated and always updated with new radios). Note: Local radio stations ("Top in the user country") are pulled automatically from an online database. However, with each update, I manually curate high-quality radio stations lists for individual countries. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find the list of countries completed so far. I will be adding the rest over time.

Advanced radio filtering system: The "Filter: ON/OFF" button lets you quickly switch between different genres. You can use both standard filters for "macro-genres"—if I can call them that—and create custom filters to be more selective. All your filters are saved (the "My Filters" tab lets you name and edit them), and the app always opens with the last filter you applied. The "Home" tab lists all your recently applied filters and can be used to quickly switch between genres with just a single tap.

Advanced Radio Search Panel: An online database provides more than 60,000 radio stations. You can pinpoint your favorite stations by combining multiple filters, such as tags/genres, specific countries, or even your preferred audio bitrate.

Separated Favorites and Recents: Each section—Radio and Offline Music—has its own Favorites and Recents. The user doesn't have to worry about a thing. The app will automatically manage the Favorites and Recents for each section.

Album art: If the album art is missing from the album folder, or if Android has not properly indexed it, Mediaxon attempts to download the cover from the internet. This feature depends, of course, on the ID3 tags (album name and artist).

Equalizer: The equalizer provides an option to automatically switch to the "Radio" preset (and vice versa).

Advanced Playlist Management: Built specifically to make building and sorting playlists fast and intuitive. Enable the Playlist Manager, in the settings screen, for a full control of the playlists.

Form Factor Optimization: Phone and Tablet (Portrait and Landscape)

Mediaxon is available in: Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Eesti, English, Español, Français, Hrvatski, Indonesia, Italiano, Kiswahili, Latviešu, Lietuvių, Magyar, Nederlands, Norsk, Polski, Português, Português (Brasil), Română, Slovenčina, Slovenščina, Suomi, Svenska, Tiếng Việt, Türkçe, العربية, Български, Ελληνικά, हिन्दी, 日本語, 한국어, 中文 (简体).

No Premium version. All app features are available for free and without limits.

Regarding advertising: There is only a small banner at the top that isn't bothersome at all. Alternatively, when opening the full-screen player or using the app in landscape mode, a banner alternates with the albums covers, but without being intrusive at all (no audio) and with much shorter stay times than those of the cover. There is never full-screen advertising, neither at startup nor during use.

Countries with new manually curated lists: United States, India, Italy, Argentina.

Note: Only for Android 13+ (so, Android 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17).

App I built a Flighty-style app for driving, and it maps every road you take

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I'm a student from Thailand, and I've been building WayAuto, an iPhone app that logs your drives automatically.

It started because I couldn't text my girlfriend while driving, and I wanted an easy way to keep her updated while I was on the road. It grew from there:

  • It detects when you start driving and records the drive in the background, or you can start and stop drives yourself.
  • It builds a heatmap of every road you've driven.
  • You can keep separate drives for each car you drive.
  • It puts your stats on a 3D driver's license card.
  • You can share any drive as an Instagram Story card, kind of like sharing a Strava map.
  • Everything stays on your phone and in your own iCloud, with no servers.

It's still early (v0.5), and a TestFlight beta is coming soon. If you'd like to test it, the waitlist is at wayauto.app. I'd really love feedback, especially on battery life once the beta is out.

App Fall Desktop - A tiny native app that drops autumn leaves across your Windows 11 desktop and piles them up on the taskbar (free, open source)

Post image
1 Upvotes

With Halloween coming up, I wanted something cozier on my desktop than a static wallpaper, so I built Fall Desktop.

Leaves drift down across every monitor, tumble in gusty wind, and settle into piles along the top of the taskbar. Pumpkins and scarecrows stand in the piles, and cobwebs hang in the screen corners. Halloween mode is on by default, with candle-lit jack-o'-lanterns, a spider on each web, and the occasional bat. Switch it off for a plain autumn look.

**Things you can play with:**

- Sweep the mouse through a pile to rake it and send the leaves flying

- Push through a cobweb and it stretches and springs back. Swipe fast and threads snap, then the spider mends them

- Bump a scarecrow and it rocks on its post and its hat wobbles

- Leaves get caught in webs and land on the pumpkins and hats

**It stays out of the way:**

- Clicks pass straight through to whatever is underneath

- Hides during fullscreen games and videos, on the lock screen, and while the display is off, and doesn't make Windows think a fullscreen app is running

- Optional "leaves behind windows" mode keeps everything on the desktop only

- About 0.3 ms of CPU per frame. Caps at 60 fps on battery and 30 fps on battery saver or over RDP

- Each monitor renders at its own resolution, DPI and refresh rate, so a 60 Hz screen next to a 144 Hz one stays smooth, and the piles continue across side-by-side monitors

**Customizable:** 20 leaf designs (sugar maple, oak, ginkgo, sweetgum, whirling maple keys, acorns, even pixel-art leaves), color schemes (Autumn, Golden, Crimson or any custom color), sliders for amount, speed, size, wind, pile depth, and how many pumpkins and scarecrows. The settings window has a live preview you can mess with.

**Tech:** native C++ with Direct2D and DirectComposition. Single small .exe that lives in the tray. Installer is per-user with no admin rights, and there's a portable zip too. Windows 10 1809+ or Windows 11, x64.

Heads up: the installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn on first run (*More info → Run anyway*). The source is all there if you'd rather build it yourself.

GitHub: Fall Desktop - Github

Official Signed: Fall Desktop - Microsoft Store

Feedback and bug reports are welcome, especially from multi-monitor and HDR setups.

I made an app that wakes you right before your UFC fight, so you don't need to guess when it starts

UFC main cards in my time zone start in the middle of the night, and nobody knows when the main event will actually begin. So I made FightWake, an Android app that waits for you.

How it works:

- Pick any fight on the card

- Choose when it rings: when the fighters walk out, at the first bell, or when the fight before it ends

- Go to sleep. It follows the card live and rings a full-screen alarm at that moment, even on silent

- It never shows results, so the earlier fights don't get spoiled

Notifications are free for every fight. The wake-up alarm is Pro, or you can unlock it for a single event. The app is in English, Spanish, French, Russian and Hebrew.

Android only for now: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fightwake.app

Feedback and feature ideas are very welcome.

App I built a free iPhone/Android document scanner that cleans up shadows and fingers

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built ScanMojo because too many phone scans still looked like photos: uneven shadows, a finger holding down a page, or edges that never looked quite straight.

It detects and straightens pages, cleans up shadows and edge distractions, and makes searchable PDFs. Scanning and OCR work offline; scans stay on your phone unless you choose to share them. You can also scan and save barcodes, and protect ID/passport scans with face or fingerprint unlock.

The everyday document scanner is free on iPhone and Android, including PDF export, with no watermark or scan limit. Signing, PDF merging and editable exports are optional Pro tools.

Short before/after demo: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/LShA1LKuE2M

Download for iPhone or Android: https://scanmojo.app

If you try it on a difficult form or letter, I'd welcome honest feedback on the cleanup quality.

App KeySnap: button shortcuts and phone automation for Android

Thumbnail gallery
6 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I'm Arda, the developer of KeySnap.

KeySnap combines physical button shortcuts with phone automation. Think of the general idea behind Apple Shortcuts or Samsung Modes and Routines: choose when something should happen and what your phone should do.

Give your buttons more jobs

Map single, double and long presses, or button combinations, to shortcuts:

Double-press a volume button → toggle the flashlight.

Long-press a supported button → open your camera or another app.

Press a button → switch your ringer straight to normal, vibrate or silent.

You can adjust the double-press and long-press timing for each shortcut, and add conditions so a shortcut only runs when you want it to.

Automate everyday tasks

Create automations based on time, charging, battery level, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, headphones and more:

Connect your headphones → start media playback.

Turn on Do Not Disturb when your phone is charging at night.

Shortcuts can also be launched from home screen widgets and Quick Settings tiles.

Requirements and pricing

Android 11+, no root required. Button detection uses Accessibility; some buttons and actions need Advanced Mode through Wireless Debugging, which can start again automatically after a restart. Availability depends on your device and Android version.

The free version includes three shortcuts with no ads. Pro unlocks unlimited shortcuts with a one-time $3.99 purchase.

What would you automate first? I'd love feedback on the setup and any shortcuts you'd like to see.

App I built an iPhone app because I never used/did anything I saved on phone!

I saved a one-pot pasta reel a few weeks back. When I wanted to make it, I scrolled through my saves for 15 minutes, couldn’t find it, and ended up ordering in. The same happened with a café in Goa, a workout routine and about 20 products I “definitely” wanted.

Collections, screenshots and pasting links into Notes all broke down: too much sorting, too many extra steps, and no way to find anything later.

So my brother and I built resaw. Share any save to it. It sorts it into recipes, places, products, workouts and ideas, pulls out the useful bits like ingredients and locations, and lets you search in plain English (“that pasta reel from a Korean creator”). Recipes become grocery lists, and saved places show up as pins on a map.

After using it, I cooked 13 recipes in a month that had been sitting in my saves for over a year.

It’s free and iPhone only for now: Download from here

Would love your feedback on what works and what doesn’t.

Built an app to make organizing Board Game Nights

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I've been working on RollMates, an app for finding people to play board games with in person. It just launched on mobile, and I'd love feedback from people who look at a lot of apps.

The problem: most game nights fall apart because you can't get enough people together at the same time. RollMates is built around getting a table to actually happen.

What it does:

- Find a table: browse open tables near you on a list or a map, filtered by game, distance and date, and claim a seat.

- Roll me in: if nothing fits, say how far you're willing to meet up with other nearby players. You decide together what to play, where and when via a poll.

- Host: set the game, time, place and number of seats, ands or open it to anyone.

- Events: run a whole game day with a lineup of several tables.

- Ratings: quick, anonymous thumbs up or down after a game, so it's easier to find people who show up.

It's free. There's an optional Pro subscription that removes the limits on hosting and saved-search alerts and gets you off waitlists first,

but you don't need it to find or host games.

Get it on: Apple or Andriod.

It's early, so I'm especially interested in:

- whether the first few screens make it clear what to do

- anything confusing about joining or hosting a table

- what would make you actually use it for your own game night

Happy to answer questions!

App TabLinker - A multi-browser tab & session saver for Mac, iPhone & iPad (Safari, Chrome, Arc, Brave, Vivaldi, Dia & more)

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I made TabLinker. It's a browser session manager for Mac (with iPhone/iPad companion apps).

I run several browsers side by side, Safari for personal, Chrome for work, Arc for research, and I never close tabs because I don't want to lose something, especially the exact window layout I had going. Eventually each browser is carrying 40+ tabs and my Mac is running hot from all that idle memory. So I made TabLinker: pull every tab from whichever browsers are open into one place, save it as a session, and close everything without losing that layout.

What it does:

- Auto-Backup quietly backs up your open browser windows in the background so you can restore closed windows in one click, even the next day
- Imports every open tab across every window from Safari, Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera, Opera GX, Dia, Yandex, Wavebox, or Helium in one click, without needing a browser extension for most of them
- Restores a full window, every window at once, or a single tab, and groups a big multi-window import into a "By Window" view so it doesn't turn into one long list
- Suspends tabs you're not using to actually free up memory, while the session stays ready to restore instantly
- Saves whatever tab you're currently on with a single keyboard shortcut (⌃⌥⌘T) or triggers an instant backup (⌃⌥⌘B), and can run entirely from the menu bar with the Dock icon hidden
- Safari extension for quick saves and automatic session saving
- Siri and Shortcuts support: save links, capture your current session, create folders, or open a saved folder hands-free or on a schedule, including an action that saves your session and closes every tab for you
- iCloud sync across Mac, iPhone, and iPad, no account required

Comparison: Compared with Session Buddy (a Chrome-only extension) and Tabs Saver for Safari (which costs $17.99/year or $34.99 for lifetime access and only works on Safari), TabLinker captures sessions across all your installed browsers (Safari, Chrome, Arc, Brave, Edge, etc.) for a flat $17.99 one-time payment. It preserves full multi-window structures, includes native iPhone/iPad sync via iCloud, and has zero subscriptions.

Pricing:

TabLinker is available for a one-time purchase of $17.99 with Universal Purchase. Buy it once on Mac and get the full premium version on iPhone and iPad too.

Tech, Privacy & Security:

Distributed exclusively via the official Mac App Store, sandbox-verified, and digitally signed by Apple. Everything runs on-device and through your own iCloud. No account, no ads, no analytics, and no external server that sees your tabs.

Privacy policy: Privacy

AI disclosure: No AI code generation or AI tracking was used in the app or this post.

Available for iPhone, iPad & Mac: TabLinker: Tabs Manager

I'm the developer of the app. Feel free to share your feedback or ideas in the comments below!

Bun-Bun Your location aware food companion

With Bun-Bun, we are trying to solve two distinct problems.

1. The saved lists everywhere - the food recommendations usually live inside WhatsApp chats, saved Instagram reels, bookmarks, and to-do notes. None of them have the capability to remind you when you are near something that you always wished to try. Bun-bun is capable of assigning a geolocation tag to your saved list by identifying the restaurant name and the dish name that you wanted to try, and remind you when you are near that specific restaurant.

2. The opinions expressed as star ratings - strangers on the internet, in Google Reviews, and everywhere else have opinions. Food is a very personal thing, and you might not always like what has 4.9 stars with 50,000 reviews on Google. So we build a trusted circle of similar-taste-buddies, where all the food that you and your buddies have liked is listed in a single list arranged by distance.

App is now available on App store and Play store

App I built a free London day-planner with real TfL fares and 570+ hand-picked places (solo dev, feedback welcome)

Thumbnail apps.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hi all, I'm the solo developer of Loopline, a free iPhone app for getting around London and planning a day out.

What it does:

• 570+ hand-picked places (museums, markets, pubs, parks, hidden gems), each with a local tip

• Real TfL journey fares and routes, so you see what a trip will cost before you go

• "Find It": pick how far you'll walk and see what's worth a stop nearby, with ideas like date night, rainy day, free, live music and late night

• Turn stops into a day plan with step-by-step guidance, widgets, Live Activities and Siri

• No ads, no third-party trackers, and signing in is optional

It's London only for now, iPhone only, and needs iOS 26 or later.

I'd love honest feedback, especially from anyone in London: what's confusing, what's missing, anything that feels slow or breaks. I'm also working on badges, an Apple Watch app and French/German/Spanish/Dutch, so if you want to try the beta, comment or message me.

Thank you for reading!

App Practice Kit – a metronome and chromatic tuner built like real gear

Most practice apps look like a settings screen. I built this one for iPhone to feel like a piece of gear on your music stand: a brushed-metal panel, engraved labels, LCD glass, and a weighted tempo wheel that clicks as it turns.

The metronome is free: 20-300 BPM set with the wheel or tap tempo, any time signature with subdivisions, presets, and clicks that sit on the audio hardware's own sample clock so the spacing never drifts - at any tempo, for hours, with the screen off or while you use another app.

Pro is a one time $7.99 unlock with a 7 day free trial, no subscription: a chromatic tuner that knows which string you're playing (five tunings built in, or build your own), all nine click sounds, accents on any beat, and a Tempo Trainer that steps the tempo up until you reach your target.

Audio is processed live on the device and never recorded or sent anywhere.

https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6817729976?pt=126420608&ct=r-apps&mt=8

If you practice with a metronome: what does yours do that you actually use? I tried to build only the parts people touch every session.

I'm building an AI-powered personal document vault. Would you actually use this?

I'm a software developer working on a side project called DocuMind AI.

The idea is to create a secure personal document vault where you can:

* Upload passports, IDs, insurance policies, contracts and other important documents.
* Automatically organize them using AI.
* Search documents using natural language.
* Get reminders before important documents expire.
* Extract useful information from PDFs and scanned documents.

I know Google Drive and Dropbox already exist, but I'm trying to solve a different problem: making documents easier to manage, not just store.

I'm still in the early development stage and would love some honest feedback.

How do you currently organize your important personal documents? What frustrates you about your current solution?

And most importantly, would you trust a dedicated application with this kind of information?

App Launching Flipcorder - Capture your day in flips and enjoy a retro camcorder video on iPhone and iPhone Duo

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi r/apps, I’m Matt, a solo developer, and my app Flipcorder went live on the App Store this morning (iPhone only, sorry Android folks).

It’s a toy camcorder. Every day gets its own dated tape that holds 30 minutes. You film little moments as they happen, each one stops itself at 20 seconds by default, and there’s no editing: the chatter, the pauses and the fumble for the stop button all stay in. Pick a VHS or MiniDV look with a date stamp, then save the whole tape to Photos as one movie, or keep the clean HD original.

If you’ve got the new iPhone Duo is a cool experience! Opening the phone is the power switch, and the person you’re filming sees themselves on the outer screen with a red REC light. Every other iPhone gets a glowing POWER key.

$4.99 once. No subscription, no ads, no account, no watermark, and your videos stay on your phone. Works on any iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
