Discussion Skipped buying all tablets during the big sales for this, disappointed

Post image
45 Upvotes

I was planning on buying one of them

  1. xiaomi pad 8 nano 12/256 at 39k

  2. Oneplus pad 2 at 30k while stylo2 was available

  3. Xiaomi pad 8 nano 12/256 secondhand 4months old at 35k

Then i saw the leaks for oppo pad mini with estimated price of 60k and decided to SKIP

Only because i wanted a small but powerful tablet

BIGGEST REGRET

I cannot justify spending 95k for an 8gb ram tablet

Now all the offers i had sold out and i dont have an icici card to avail the bank offer in amazon for pad8

12inch tablets in market rn are too big for me and even 11 inch was pushing it

Im just laughing at myself now😂

To whomever who did the same, how r u holding up?

Discussion Lenovo Idea Tab Pro (1st Gen) vs OnePlus Pad Go 2 — long-term use as student

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I'm a medical student and I'm confused between the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro (1st Gen) and the OnePlus Pad Go 2, and I'd really appreciate some advice from people who own these tablets or have experience with them.

I'm looking for a tablet primarily for studying, note-taking, PDFs, multitasking, and general productivity. I want something that will last me for several years without becoming frustrating to use.

Both options support a stylus, which is important to me, and both bundles are costing me around 27k.

I'm particularly concerned about the following:

  1. How much should I worry about Lenovo potentially offering fewer software updates? Will this actually affect everyday usage after 3–4 years?

  2. Which tablet handles split-screen, multiple apps, large PDFs, handwritten notes, and switching between apps better?

  3. How does the note-taking experience compare?

  4. Which tablet offers a better overall experience for students?

I don't want to regret my purchase a couple of years down the line. I'm hoping to use the tablet for at least 3–4 years, primarily for academic purposes.

I'd especially appreciate responses from people who have actually used either tablet. Please share your long-term experiences rather than just comparing specifications.

Thanks !!

Discussion Cases, Keyboards, and Pen Storage

I've had a Galaxy Tab S8+ for a long time and use it every day. I was thinking about upgrading, but what's really stopping me is that I don't want to lose the accessory setup...

- the book cover and the keyboard cover both have pen storage built in.

- I love that the slim keyboard cover can just be folded back and lies flat so i can still use it like a tablet with the keyboard cover on.

I haven't seen any tablet that has pen storage built in.

The pro keyboard for new Samsung and Lenovo seem high quality but they don't bend back and fold flat.

That new Amazon tablet looks like it might have a keyboard cover that would work - but no pen storage (and not sure if you can really do away with all that alexa stuff)

Anyone have any tablets and accessory setups that might work?

Request Sub 9in tablet?

Really disappointed to see the Oppo Pad Mini at effectively $1k USD.

Was planning on importing it once it showed up on third party websites, but after that I can't justify it.

What are my options at this point? Is it really only Xiaomi, RedMagic Astra, and Lenovo Legion?

Just want a small form factor tablet to use to watch content on the go. Budget is around $800 USD

Request Suggestions for a travel/entertainment tablet

Hey all,

I travel quite a bit for work on airplanes and busses and I'm looking to get a tablet that it good for the normal entertainment apps like netflix, youtube, etc, but is also good for light gaming. When I say light gaming I'm really just talking about games like Baltro, Slay the Spire, Monster Train, games that aren't super intensive. Bonus points if there's a way that I can run them via Steam without a wifi connection and don't have to buy them all over again on the Google store.

Thanks in advance!

Discussion Budget tablet recommendations

Any budget tablet recommendations with the following specs big screen(10in-11in), good battery life, good performance, and below 16k. I know my tablets but what I don’t know is where I can find them 😅. Currently eyeing at redmi pad 2, honor pad X9a, oppo pad se, the tablets from Lenovo, the tablets from tecno and infinix, and the tech life tablet. I don’t know which one really has the upper hand but I would say that most of them are pretty decent, close in terms of specs, the only difference is price so whichever is the cheapest option between them we’d get but how about yall what do yall think?

Discussion Anyone have the OnePlus Pad 4 with LineageOS installed?

I’ve been looking to see if there is any user experience out there, as I’ve seen that there is a confirmed build of LineageOS for the OnePlus Pad 4 Global Version specifically.

I am wanting to know if there are any significant compromises.

But more specifically, how the LineageOS treats the OnePlus Stylo Pro pen. Like, does it still work all the same, is it gimped in some functions?

I mean, going to LineageOS looks like an irreversible commitment. So I would like to know if anyone has experience to share in that regard.

Discussion Entre tablet Samsung s6 lite e S10 lite, qual eu pego?
