Anyone know if the Midwest industry’s Ak light mount would fit an arsenal 556 Rpk?

All items are East German! 1982 AKM, 1989 AK-74, and three KM-87 bayonets. The rifles all match the original barrels, something I never thought I'd ever get. This year has been excellent as far as AK collecting goes. I believe we are in a “golden age” for imports right now, tons of neat stuff is coming in that we haven’t seen in a long time!

Decided to bite the bullet back in June shortly after that Klayco47 video on the MDC-101 came out where he tested the accuracy of his 101. Picked it up today from my FFL, took it apart, looked it over really closely and can’t find any abnormalities aside from a loose fire selection which was quickly resolved once I realized it wasn’t seated properly. So far the build quality is what I would expect from a “High End” firearm. I will post back with more feedback when I’m able to mag dump into a trash pile.

Strike industries brace, Holosun ARO, random Bakelite grip, and plum wood stain. Trying to decide if I want to try to get an frt to work with it or keep it as is. No reliability issues so far.

Left this thing stock for years. Planning on doing some upgrades soon. Picked it up around 2019 or so for around 1k. Kinda crazy you see people asking near sam 7 prices for one.

So Im working on my brothers Zastava. Its in 7.62x39 so I got him a new .30cal and attempted mounting it. So I got this 5/8th-24 to 14mm x 1 LH adapter and I hate it. Its like something you'd use on a 22lr pistol barrel. I want a 14mm x 1 LH to HUB mount to replace it, but they are all sold out on the recommended websites. Anyone know where I can get one. Also dont hate the Chinesium optic on it, waiting for him to visit and pick out a replacement.

When it comes to the internals, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the Type 81 over the AKM?

Like, I get that there is less mass moving around, but from a military kind of sense, does it make the rifle better than an AKM, or just different?

First ak frt. Every time I fire it binds up around the guide bar. I see texas triggers sells a longer one of these and my question is, is mine to short? Do I need the longer one?

Gave 700 for it private sale. Last pic was how it looked before I sanded and stained the furniture.

I bought the stock, upper handguard, and grip as a set, and the lower handguard separately all from Numrich.

I can tell that the lower handguard is definitely bakelite, but the rest, especially the upper handguard, are a much thinner and lighter polymer in a lighter color. The stock is dated July 1971, the lower handguard is dated 1987, but the upper handguard is "01" "1" which I can only understand to be January 2001?

There's not a whole lot of info out there, and i'm wondering if there's something off or i'm just being a bitch.
