Discussion [Update] Walked in on my roommate age regressing

Decided to update based on how many people responded to my previous post. Thank you all by the way for the advice. It was much appreciated.
So the other day I asked my roommate if we could have a deeper discussion about what happened. Told him about my view on agere. Said I wanted him to feel comfortable about me being aware of this side of himself. And I did express that I’d like to be of help to him if he wanted and was comfortable with it. He brought up caregiving, so he was already aware of those terms and stuff(which makes sense). It was a long and, awkward at first, talk but it was really nice and became smoother as it went on. It kinda dispelled the tension around the topic and I think it felt nice to get it out into the air..
He was nervous but interested and open, and we agreed to just start small and see where it goes from a big/little brother place with touches of CG. Small like with him feeling more open to regress when I’m around and me responding to his regressed self in turn, like with names and affirming talk. Like some suggested, we established early boundaries about. What is ok and not ok. Even patted him on the head as a small start(He likes head patting apparently. Too much anime I think, but who am I kidding, I watch apothecary diaries.). It was weird, but we were able to laugh about it a bit. All in all, it felt really good to talk about it with him.
(So now I’m just gonna vent a bit. Again it’s just nice to get this off my chest with more experienced/sorta like minded people.)
This is all so so so weird, but in a good way. I mentioned it to someone in the previous post, but I’m not into guys, like at all. The idea of being physically or verbally affectionate, especially in this way, with another male would otherwise make me a bit uncomfortable unless we were family and even then it would depend. But with him it’s different.
He gives me this air of being a younger brother. Not just in the sense that he’s a few years younger than me, but he’s really short for a guy for one and he also has a somewhat soft appearance to him. He’s not a femboy per se, but he’s nowhere near gruff hairy manly man. A little androgynous maybe. If you saw him you’d think he was cute, not handsome. There’s also this sense about him that makes me feel like I want to be there for him, ya know? I don’t know. I think all this makes it easier for me to view him in an affectionate sorta fraternal way or something. Never had a little brother so. Been wondering if I thought this the first time I met him or if it’s been building up. I don’t know, I’m still brewing on it. Anyway, I guess lemme know your thoughts or any advice you’d like to offer. I’m open and it’s appreciated. I’ll probably keep updating. It’s just nice to talk about it.
