So this is my final order from Denmark. I am US based BTW. First picture is the rest of the yarn. I also added as the 3rd pic if you missed the first haul pic. Second picture is everything organized per project. It came out to 20 total projects that I bought yarn for the biggest size for the project. It is ALL Drops yarn from different lines. It came to a total of 130 50g skeins for projects and an extra 13 skeins. So 143 skeins of Drops yarn for just under $500.

Question Am I still a yarn addict?

I have been de-hoarding my yarn. I have a friend who does organizing as a side hustle and she has been helping and taking the yarn and other things away for donating. She has teacher friends and other places that like yarn.

But I have all the stash yarn in 13 totes and it all fits in one room instead of yarn all over the house.

And the yarn in WIPs.

But I haven't bought yarn for a while.

Am I still and addict?

What's your favorite synthetic/non-mammalian yarn?

I have multiple people in my family with Alpha-Gal sensitivity (basically an allergy to anything that comes from a mammal). It's not so bad that I can't have wool/mammal yarn in the house, but I still just wanted to know some good alternatives in case I ever wanted to make something for one of my extended relatives.

Finished Object Remember the Irish crochet bomber and duster?

They’re finally completely finished! The duster was worn in a wedding, the bomber won first place at the county fair, the bomber now has a satin liner and zippered closure and feels fully realized.

This journey has been wild! It started by coming across Lusi Lace on Instagram. Her contemporary take on Irish crochet had me in awe. I started researching and soon realized most patterns or things related to this technique were fresh out of Eastern Europe. I spent a lot of time translating Russian motif patterns and tutorials. This rabbit hole of hyper focus went on to be an almost year long journey of discovering a newfound passion in heritage craft.
