🙏
This is a test, not the final version of Infinity Scale — just a proof of what I’ve managed to do so far. It probably won’t please many, but for me it’s a small result that just needs optimization.
I hope you get the concept: it’s a test, not real gameplay or a real mode, because transparency like this isn’t good for either real-world or virtual vision. But for now, that’s what can be done with the Steam Frame.
My goal is to make it a true Infinity Scale like the one I do with Quest 3, Virtual Desktop, and a Windows PC — where the FOV reduction trick with passthrough on the edges already works. On the Frame, it would take an implicit OpenXR ARM64 layer that does the same thing: intercept the FOV at startup, restore it afterward, and activate alpha blend with monochrome passthrough in the empty areas.
If you know anyone working on OpenXR layers or have advice on where to start, I’m all ears.
🤞🤞🤞

Where are the haptics on the controller? I’m playing with a quest 3 and I feel nothing when swinging a wrench, using a plasmid etc. Was this not present in the original game? Could’ve swore it was. If so why am I not feeling it?

As the title asks, looking for non-stressful games like the title two games. Stuck on a level in Moss (a battle crab isn't reacting correctly to get through the level) and currently enjoying the later version 7th Guest. Loved Dark Ride Feline....so, trying to find something simple like that without shooting/fighting. Appreciate suggestions!

I wanted to play the first game before the second so I bought it last week on Steam but I simply cannot get past this part no matter what I try. At the very beginning you unlock the door to a cabin and are supposed to light the fireplace with one of those long lighters that has a button. I've done everything I could think of and pressed every button on the controller to try to get it to light. I've tried it on both my PSVR2 connected to my PC and on my Quest 3. I checked out gameplay on YT and it shows the lighter immediately lighting after the button is pressed.
Is it just that it was made for older headsets and it was never updated for newer ones? Is there some launch setting I need to set in Steam? I've searched online and I can't find any info on this.

I'm wondering if anyone has heard of a steam game called Gone Fishing, and I wanted to see if anyone knows if there is a VR game similar to it but not gorilla tag movement.
Edit: I'm looking for something more towards the horror side and something I can at least play with my friends but when I mentioned the steam game gone fishing, I didn't specify.

Hey everyone. I got a Steam Machine and I'm considering getting a new VR headset for it. I've played Cyberpunk with the Luke Ross mod on my old gaming PC with a Reverb G2 (that PC has roughly the same spec as the Steam Machine). Has anybody tried playing VR mods on the steam machine? What's the experience like? Is linux an issue with VR mods.
I understand that when it comes to performance, I'll have to make a lot of compromises and pick the right games, but I'm more worried about just getting things to work without having to fight for hours against Linux.

Hi! I've been building SIX LEFT on my own for months. It's an arcade VR brawler: punch, parry, shoot, and grab anything in the room, from champagne bottles to neon tubes ripped off the wall.
The main mode is THE CIRCUIT. The fight keeps building until you go down, and every run you try to beat your kill count.
Everything in the video is real gameplay. PC VR, and Quest works through Link.
Steam link in the first comment. Feedback welcome, good or bad.
