Art With the mastery system, why didn't they update the "stat com" flex? [mock-up]

So in addition to my complaints (link in comments) about the new mastery system, I wanted to point this out as a separate but related issue.

We have stat cards now. Customizable stat cards at that. With no real way to show them off currently beyond sharing.

I present to you a (really bad, MSPaint) mock-up of not only what could have been, but what COULD be if RIOT takes 5 minutes to make it happen. Attached are the mock-up and current versions of the "stat com" flex.

Makes perfect sense to me and I don't understand why this wasn't a thing (I fully expected it to be and it just isn't?).

Discussion Smurfing is the biggest Problem in Valorant and its not even close

Riot stated in September that around 10% of the active playerbase are smurfs. Doing a quick math means, that in around 65% of your games, at least one of the Players in your match is a smurf. These players play below their actual skill level, resulting in a destroyed competetive intergrity for OVER HALF OF YOUR GAMES.

This is exremely frustrating, when you play a lot of games and every single loss that day is because of a smurf carrying the enemy team, often with premades that are getting boosted by him.

This is the very opposite of rewarding and a competetive game should NEVER be decided only by the fact that there is a player in the lobby, that systematicly doesnt match the skilllevel.

Riot start banning smurfs, even when they play alone!

Esports A man just proposed at the Champions grand final dressed as Iso & Sage

Mid-series. World title on the line. Arena full in Shanghai. And bro got down on one knee in full Iso cosplay next to his Sage like it was the most normal round of the night.

Valorant is not a game anymore, it's a lifestyle. She said yes, by the way.

I saw OhnePixle got invited to play in Valorant (i was a former CS player, so i know him from there). So, i watched his gameplay video and when i saw the name "Dabin" , i thought it was odd that one of my fav artist name is used by someone else aswell.

So i checked the camers, and my Jaw dropped.

Riot inviting people like Dabin (did not know he played val) and Ohne to their events honestly game me a new level of respec for Riot.

I mean, even my name has it XD (just as proof)

Thank you Riot, for the amount of effort you put into this game.

Discussion 5 stacks in comp are crazy!

So I don’t often 5 stack comp, had some rough matches a couple acts ago and it just turned me off of them😭

One of my diamond friends asked if I wanted to 5 stack comp and I honestly said ‘sure why not’ we got so many matching lobbies for rank it was amazing, except for last night we went against 4 plats and a diamond.

I’ve never was yelled at for how I played, they gave as much info as they could when it was just me left(which was a lot). There was a point where I got a 3k trade and they basically were holding every angle so I could get the defuse(ended up getting that trade).

I was felt like a 5 stack was going to throw whoever at you that was 5 stack within rank reason and bullshit would happen. No the lobbies have been easily matching with ranks it was fun. It also really opened my eyes about the true skill diversity as well too. I don’t do 5 stacks for my main grind with this friend this is more so for fun.

Question Do you ever feel embarassed for having spent money on skins when performing badly?

title. I never spent an actually absurd amounts of money on videogames, but valorant was the most i did (240$ to be exact). I do not really spend money on other games but regardless I sometimes feel grief for it unless I'm topfragging or winning. Whenever people spectate me and I have skins on I feel like expectations grow quite a lot on me. It just makes me more anxious from time to time

I've already had multiple occasions of people asking me "why do you spend money if you're so garbage" and even though I'm not really garbage like I used to be I just feel stupid.

It's not like I'm hunted by the sunken cost fallacy but whenever I wish for something new I forbid myself to spend unless I reach a certain rank or convince myself that I am decent enough for it. Like I'm chasing a proof that I deserve what I spent for.

Another point is that I play on console and I sometimes wonder am I wasting money because I'm playing an arguably completely different game than what Valorant actually is. The experience is not necessarily worse but way different, I'm just afraid it will never get better competitively or give that same tactial gameplay that I got hooked by when watching people play from the mainstream platform...

Question Which Skin line would you say is the most popular? (for a research)

I'm currently writing my thesis for Uni and a chapter is dedicated to avatars and skins in videogames. I thought about skins in League of Legends (lots of champions and its in third person) and Overwatch (skins for characters even though it's in first person).

Now, I would like to write a little about Valorant since there are no skins for characters but only for guns. The problem is that I have no idea which skin line has had the most impact. For Overwatch I wrote about a collab with a Kpop group (LE SSERAFIM) which was wildly popular, so much so they collabed three times.

Has something similar happened in Valorant? Is there a skin line that is really popular or unique that I could look into? Thanks!

(I would like to add that I only play Overwatch, so I may not understand terms that are only related to Valorant )

Discussion 19yr old Filipino who plays Valorant in Frankfurt Server

Hello, I’m a Filipino 19M who just moved here in Germany two months ago, so I’m still learning the language—that surely is not going great because I’m having a problem for not being able to practice what I have learned. During these times, I’m making sure to not feel burnt out and pressured about it, so I play valorant (mostly on weekends) as my way of destressing.

So, my objective with making this post—which in fact is my first ever post here in reddit because I’m shy—is to have some friends who’s kind enough to accompany and play valorant with me while you witness me endure all the suffering of learning a new language (german) :))

I am not sure if this will be able to reach my target audience, but I just hope to have some friends who plays valorant in frankfurt server—even if we don’t have the same nationality (I would still appreciate if you can speak english tho TvT)

Question Crazy losing streak

I feel like I’m losing my mind. I am so bad at this game, it’s not even funny. I’ve been on a more than 16 game losing streak, with 1 win and a draw in between. This streak has lasted over 4 days, and I have deranked from upper bronze 3 to iron 3.

I’m not even going to say I’m an average player or this or that, because I know everyone will probably flame me, but I am just confused. I’m not a plat by any means (clearly), but I use my utility, try to communicate with my teammates, and have decent aim, or at least I’m able to concurrently get 11-15 of the bots in the range on expert and had a hs % of 40 but recently it’s tanked (that’s all I have to base off of but I know they don’t matter too much please don’t come for me LOL).

It’s just discouraging especially when every content creator or meme I come across is like “If you’re hard stuck in bronze, which idk how you are” or “for first time players you shouldn’t be in bronze or silver for too long” and it’s like damn i’ve been playing this game for a while and thought i was better than that and ik a lot of people are bronze I guess?? but like. what am I doing wrong. is there a way i can be better or is it a queue thing or am i coping or is there a way i can show you guys gameplay and somebody tells me what im doing like im just confused and frustrated on how i literally have lost 16 games in a row.

my username is cosmacase #3009 if you want to check my valtracker PLEASE please please do, idk if those stats would explain anything at all but like i’m at a loss idk what’s happening
