META Banning for Begging posts

Hi users!

Around the time of bundles, we tend to get a lot of “begging” posts where users are begging for someone to buy them the bundle or skins.

We’ve noticed that the vast lot of these seem to come from adult brand account, brand new accounts, bot accounts, etc.

Please do not engage with these accounts, please do not suggest anything to these accounts. Just report these accounts and move on. We are banning these accounts.

Thank you for your attention.

META VALORANT 13.08 Bug Megathread

Greetings Agents!

New patch, new Bug Megathread! To avoid bug reports cluttering the subreddit and/or going unnoticed, a Megathread is posted after every patch so users may submit reports in one place. This allows Riot to easily keep track of the bugs by providing a central hub and also allows other users to confirm that they might have encountered the issue as well.

Reporting a Bug

  1. A bug will ideally be accompanied with a screenshot or a video. This provides credibility to your report.
  2. Steps to recreate the bugs should be submitted if possible. This helps Rioters recreate the bug and helps them find the cause behind it.
  3. Unformatted, mematic, or joke reports are automatically indexed and may be removed by moderators to reduce the effort needed from Riot to view all reports.

Art With the mastery system, why didn't they update the "stat com" flex? [mock-up]

So in addition to my complaints (link in comments) about the new mastery system, I wanted to point this out as a separate but related issue.

We have stat cards now. Customizable stat cards at that. With no real way to show them off currently beyond sharing.

I present to you a (really bad, MSPaint) mock-up of not only what could have been, but what COULD be if RIOT takes 5 minutes to make it happen. Attached are the mock-up and current versions of the "stat com" flex.

Makes perfect sense to me and I don't understand why this wasn't a thing (I fully expected it to be and it just isn't?).

Gameplay I'm a Gold 1 controller main who had to solo duelist in my 5 stack and I got my first Jett knife ace!

At the end of the match, the Reyna insta pasted this message for me: "get off the smurf jett you fuckin loser. the rest of you, time to uninstall. just because the game is free doesn't mean you gotta play. you're ass if you need a smurf to carry your bitchasses to a win."

Mind you.. I played like shit the next match. I don't think I did anything special here, but I did play well in that match and got match MVP.

Reyna, if you're here, I'm sorry for ruining your night for having one good game lol.

Also, any constructive criticism is always appreciated!

Discussion Which agent do you think got the most satisfying first pov animations for their abilities?

Skye: The animation for the animal totems are so well made and the sound is so fun, very recognizable whichever one you're holding

Gekko: each of his pet has different fun hand motions for deploying them

Viper: I like how freaky and spider-like her fingers get

Raze: All her animations are so full of personalities, and probably the best showcase of her as a person out of anyone else

Discussion Why's having a feminine voice as a guy so fucking painful in this game? :v

hiii, so i'm a guy with a pretty feminine voice, and i swear sometimes just trying to communicate in this game feels like i'm signing up for a medical exam ._.

like i'll literally say "two mid" and suddenly it's "u a trans girl? U a boy?" And its nonstop, sometimes its not even asking its just bullying or straight up slurs. CAN WE PLEASE JUST PLAY THE GAME

and honestly i don't even mind people being curious!! it's when they start making fun of me, treating me like some kind of joke or making everything weird after finding out i'm a guy that it gets exhausting :u ive had people add me before, hang out, snd then they hear my voice or suspect im "actually a guy" and im immediately blocked or harrassed.

i mostly play sage and killjoy, and i genuinely love being helpful and making people feel comfortable when we play together. i wanna be able to make "cute" comms, heal my teammates and just have fun without feeling like i'm being judged every time i open my mouth...

i see people talking about meeting their closest friends or even their partners through valorant and i'm just sitting here wondering WHERE ARE YALL FINDING THESE PEOPLE 😭 i'd love to have that kind of experience too, especially with a sweet guy who doesn't make a huge deal out of how i sound. let me be someone's pocket sage in peace PLEASE, which isnt me asking btw, its litterally everything ELSE i run into with the ekittens on this game ._.

so i'm genuinely curious, especially for other guys with feminine voices or anyone who's been treated differently in vc, how do you deal with this? and how do you actually end up meeting nice people who stick around without having to immediately talk about ur privates so they dont block you? Its a problem in every community but more prominent on vc games....

Question Is it only me or does this game have more girls players than CS2?

CS2 was my first fps and im from EU and you barely never got girls in your lobbies, only if its faceit or very high ranks, but so far in Valo i had like 5 matches and almost all had girls in. Why do so many girls love this game but not CS2?

Question How to practice with jetts knives?

• Upvotes

İ have about a 37 hs%, avarage 25-30 kills per ranked game, used to be a reyna main but i tried jett and have been maining her with about 40 hours on her but i can never get ANY kills with the knives, i know how powerful they are and can use them in the range but its more psycological and lack of practice but how can i practice with jett knives when you can use them basically twice per game?

Edit: fixed typo for how long ive been playing jett

Question Do you ever feel embarassed for having spent money on skins when performing badly?

title. I never spent an actually absurd amounts of money on videogames, but valorant was the most i did (240$ to be exact). I do not really spend money on other games but regardless I sometimes feel grief for it unless I'm topfragging or winning. Whenever people spectate me and I have skins on I feel like expectations grow quite a lot on me. It just makes me more anxious from time to time

I've already had multiple occasions of people asking me "why do you spend money if you're so garbage" and even though I'm not really garbage like I used to be I just feel stupid.

It's not like I'm hunted by the sunken cost fallacy but whenever I wish for something new I forbid myself to spend unless I reach a certain rank or convince myself that I am decent enough for it. Like I'm chasing a proof that I deserve what I spent for.

Another point is that I play on console and I sometimes wonder am I wasting money because I'm playing an arguably completely different game than what Valorant actually is. The experience is not necessarily worse but way different, I'm just afraid it will never get better competitively or give that same tactial gameplay that I got hooked by when watching people play from the mainstream platform...

Discussion 5 stacks in comp are crazy!

• Upvotes

So I don’t often 5 stack comp, had some rough matches a couple acts ago and it just turned me off of them😭

One of my diamond friends asked if I wanted to 5 stack comp and I honestly said ‘sure why not’ we got so many matching lobbies for rank it was amazing, except for last night we went against 4 plats and a diamond.

I’ve never was yelled at for how I played, they gave as much info as they could when it was just me left(which was a lot). There was a point where I got a 3k trade and they basically were holding every angle so I could get the defuse(ended up getting that trade).

I was felt like a 5 stack was going to throw whoever at you that was 5 stack within rank reason and bullshit would happen. No the lobbies have been easily matching with ranks it was fun. It also really opened my eyes about the true skill diversity as well too. I don’t do 5 stacks for my main grind with this friend this is more so for fun.

Discussion does ANYONE know what this is and how to play it?

seeing stats for velocity, satchel positioning and info is insane to me. this would be really helpful to learn new movement mechanics and train my aim.

i saw this on tiktok, and someone said its just a chinese website (but didnt say which 🫩)

so im wondering if anyone here knows what this is, and what i need to do as an NA player to test it out (vpn, etc.)

side note features in this should be added to vanilla valorant, genuinely be so helpful for learning new movement tech.

Gameplay How do i improve my gameplay?

Ive been playing this game since like 2 months ago and i just cant seem to kill?? I am bronze 2, and the enemies are just so skilled. Like they kill me so easily and when im spectating the same enemy act like they have never touched a mouse before 😭🙏🏻 like am i really that bad? I do get 8-10 kills on avg but im always bot fragging 💔 i am also using 3d aim trainer to improve but IM JUST NOT IMPROVING! I even play dm but hell nah i literally get one tapped there. Ive also been trying to aim the cross hair on head lever but its so confusing imo bc how am i supposed to walk when looking up and also in elevated or depth area how am i supposed to maintain the head level aim? give me so SUPER SOLID advice

Question How to get higher score ?

• Upvotes

I play duelist and I believe I do my job well, I enter clear corners trade etc but after the spike is planted I play safe don’t go after kills and only peek to trade. My score is always low even if my kills are high someone with lower kills gets more score than me and my valorant tracker score is really poor too even tho my wr is decent this season. Gold/plat what do I need to get higher score cause the rr gain is low too 17-20 each game
