Okay so I was just in Mac hall trying to buy a protein bar, beef jerky and an ice tea from the convenience store and I forgot they don’t take tap for debit and I’ve got my chem 311 midterm tonight so I was really hungry and stressed out. I was about to compromise and just get the iced tea but then!!!

A very kind stranger paid for my stuff, and I said thank you but I was pretty flustered and stressed out and almost about to cry (bad day), so idk how grateful I came across even though I did say thank you so much, and yes it was a really long day 😭😭😭😭.

In case I seemed like an unappreciative jerk: THANK YOU that was such a kind thing to do, and I hope you get a 4.0 you deserve literally everything thank you for the 11 dollars and 30 cents charity hope everything good comes your way!!!

Hey I'm a university student in the United Kingdom and UC is an option to do an exchange for 1 year. As it's just a 1 year exchange I think the social side, making friends/dating, activities and affordability are slightly more important to me than the education so would you say UC is good for that? This includes meeting people not at uni in the city, is it a good city? The two other options in Canada I have are Brock university and Trent university but it seems that UC may be the best option

It's that time again!

I'm excited to say I've increased the number of prizes available, knowing it was so hard to decide last year.

How it will work: Myself or a staff member will take your picture. That evening I'll make a few collages of the participants, and post the winners on my Instagram/here on reddit.

What makes a winner? Notable participation. Dry humour, detail, obscurity, relevance and unexpected brilliance are characteristics that come to mind. I celebrate and encourage whimsy.

The prize? A pin + sticker packet. I'll have at least ten prizes, more if I'm overwhelmed with winners.

I look forward to seeing you! 🎃

Hi all!! A group of friends and I are putting together a league of our own.

H2H, points, free, draft is online tonight at 5pm. If you’re interested and want to join we got two spots left.

Hello,

I am wondering if there are any others who have applied for Open Studies in the Winter of 2027 and if you have gotten a decision yet. I have applied under the SAP however I have waited for a few weeks. Is this normal, or should I talk to a recruiter?

Want to join a relevant group for gaming in spare time lol, I'm not that good but play this game for some time

I want to take pictures for my birthday January, I don’t really have an inspiration but I was wondering if there’ll be anybody willing that wouldn’t charge my soul for a session! let me know!!

Anyone intrested in forming an LSAT study group? My plan is to meet 2-3 times a week for an hour and work on LSAT questions together/individually to prepare for the January LSATS. I have LawHub Advantage but really need a study group to stay on track. I can print material for us to work on during our study sessions.

Thank you!

Hi guys, I'm in phil 279 and I'm having trouble understanding the concepts such as proofs, etc. and it doesn't help that I'm really behind, I'm caught up with most of the lecture videos but I find it challenging to complete the quizzes, problem sets and I have my first in person time problem really soon and I honestly feel screwed. Does anyone have any advice on how to do well in this course? Is there any study groups for this class? I saw a reddit post about PASS and I checked out their schedule but I didn't see phil 279. All advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Anyone know if they are posted on D2L, Gradescope, or both?

Anyone miss the old uni confessions page. It shut down halfway into my first year of uni, and I was so so disappointed. I miss seeing all the confessions on that page ugh

Has anyone taken POLI 485: Global Political Economy in block week with Kim-Lee Tuxhorn? I took a different poli block week for fall and lowkey regretted it, so am wondering if I should bother risking it again in winter semester.

How are those of you taking the ACCT 323 midterm this Saturday prepping for it? I’ve gone through the in class review exercises and wileyplus homework but I’m still feeling slightly underprepared. Was there any hints given in class as to the structure/layout of the test?

The midterm is tomorrow and I'm extremely scared for it. I haven't studied much because I've been feeling horribly sick and unwell.

I have never deferred an exam before, what do I need to say to get it approved? Do I need a note from a doctor? Are the deferred exams harder than the normal exams? Can they deny my request to defer?

What should I focus on studying to do well on this exam? I already bombed my Accounting 361 exam because I went while being sick and without studying. I don't want to do the same for 341. How hard is the exam going to be?

Edit: I forgot to pick up my quiz #3. Can somebody that have theirs share the questions so I can use it to study pleaseeee 😭

Do ppl usually pick one area early on like power systems or electronics and focus your projects on that? Or do you try a bit of everything so you can apply to any internship?

Don’t be so butthurt when someone takes your room & you guys need to be more courageous and start taking empty rooms if you actually need it.
If you booked it for over 2 hours, you still get 1 hour (if you do show up) 🤣
EDITED: But honestly at this point, I’d share the room if I took it from somebody. Doesn’t hurt to ask “can we just share it?”
