I am a Scottish student currently sitting 3 Advanced highers (predicted AA*A* ) English, mathematics, music and a crash higher in French (predicted A).

I currently have 5 As at higher (English, Maths, Physics, History, Music) and straight As at national 5s.

I am applying for Art History / Comparative Literature and I am SO worried I won’t get in since it’s my first choice!!

If anyone wants to read my personal statement and let me know if they have any advice PLS dm me because I’m desperate to attend. My extra curriculars include music and scouting, but I’ve brought up my personal research into literature and art as well!

hiii guys for context im an intl student (i live in the uae) applying for law well ive already applied but is there anyone here whos the same as mee like living in the uae and applying for law cuz OMG i cant imagine waiting so long for decisions ive gotten one but prolly cuz theyre non lnat so yeah but yeahh ive applied to oxford, lse, kcl, durham, and notts btww

i'm just worried if it's too much or smth, i know that most the characters should typically go to your question 1 but is it too much?

I know creative industries aren't loved here but I have 7 unis that I like but I need help deciding where I should apply 😭

if my gcses are very poor, would applying with my actual a level grades help alot against my bad gcses (Given i still meet the min bar)? for unis like manchester, bristol, warwick etc, for getting an offer??

So im not middle eastern but i live in the middle east and during the time of my as level exams there was a war which broke out in the middle east and we gave exams through mocks nd allat

There was literally emergency alerts sirens nd bombs for weeks

My question is should i mention this in my applications, will any unis be slightly more lenient if they knew i gave exams in a warzone pretty much

If u do think i shd mention this then in which part of my application? Reference or ps or smth else

Hi there guys!

Make sure to check your ucas applications as I forgot to add a qualification and Leeds have rejected me because of this :(

I’m resitting so forgot to put my A in one of my subjects. I should’ve checked it as it was my fault!!

I think this is so harsh!!

For medicine

Thanks

I have 1490 SAT and 3 AP 5(Calculus BC, Computer Science A and Stats), 3 medals in National Olympiad in Informatics and some small projects.

In their website, it is said it must be either:

1)1500 sat + 2 ap 5

2)5 AP 5

Im considering to retaking sat again, but i dont want to do it because of 10 point.

Assuming that I will get 6.5-7.5 in TARA, would my stats satify minimum requirements(ik my acceptance is not guaranteed)? Or i should retake sat?

For reference: last year i got a offer with 2 AP 5 and 1400+ sat from Birmingham for CS.

Hello guys I need some help regarding choosing universities, as the title suggests im a resitter and Im resitting all 3 of my subjects I didnt do bad in them as in got bs but since im doing law my grades needs to be higher than that, does anyone knows russel group unis that actually accepts resitters for law please help me out.

I have a few questions.

1) Are they asking for my report cards over the last few years?
2) They also asked for a list of subjects I took in high school. Is that for screening, or it to grill me during a potential interview

3)They asked for another personal statement😭. Only 1200 characters. Should I write it?

I gave my exams recently in oct/nov session im not sure when results day will be it’s usually in January but it’s not a fixed date. I would like to submit my application before January / end of December. If results day ends up being before the equal consideration deadline do I have to update my application or like how does it work?

So I got an offer for property development and planning in the university of reading and was wondering if I had home or international fees as I couldn’t find it directly on the ucas acceptance or on the email

Anyone got offers? I applied 3 weeks ago and haven’t been told whether I’m on hold or rejected?

guys why does everyone and their mum seem to have an offer already? 🙏🏻🙏🏻 but i haven't seen any for pure philosophy

i have a predicted equivalent of 3A* and im applying for philosophy at cambridge (kings), bristol, warwick and UCL. i submitted like 10 days ago

anyone in a similar position?

So basically I’m trying to get into finance but I don’t know what super curricular I should do any advice?

Last year I sat my A-Levels and got 2 good grades and 2 not so good and decided on taking a gap year and sitting the 2 exams again. I have 2 tutors which will be my references and provide predicted grades. For my ucas can someone tell me if it’s better to include all 4 results or just the 2 good ones as I am unsure if I add the 2 bad grades some schools may look at my application less favourably.

Heyyy is anyone here applying for SOAS London? I've gotten emails from all 4 other choices besides SOAS confirming my application has been received in the past 2 days... except for SOAS. Is everyone else also not emailed by SOAS yet 💔
