What makes The Twilight Zone such a great show that is appealing to everybody and would it still be beloved in the modern day by younger audiences.

My grandfather passed away just over a month ago. He was a collector of so much Sci-fi and memorabilia (mainly Star Trek). I remember he was gifted this DVD box set of the entire series one year for his bday forever ago, and I also purchased him the DVD copy of the movie.

I remember one summer growing up, he let me borrow this set and I watched several classics and found several new to me episodes as well, and I would go back to his house and we would rewatch and talk about him growing up and all sort of things.

Needless to say, going through his belongings, this was the only item I asked for. Maybe one day soon I'll get a lazy Sunday and throw some of his favorites on.

I'm finally diving in! I'm super happy to be able to discover the series in its restored version. Which episode do you wish you could watch again for the first time?

Was The Twilight Zone’s “Little Girl Lost” (1962) the original Backrooms?
Long before the Backrooms became an internet horror phenomenon, The Twilight Zone gave us “Little Girl Lost,” where a young girl mysteriously slips through her bedroom wall into another dimension.

The distorted space, eerie emptiness, disembodied voices, and terrifying idea of being trapped somewhere outside our reality feel remarkably similar to modern liminal-space horror.

Over 60 years later, this episode still feels unsettling. Rod Serling was seriously ahead of his time.
Anyone else think this was basically the Backrooms before the Backrooms existed?

i watched season 1 and season 2, I'm currently halfway through season 3

a lot of people say that the hour format did not work in season 4's favor and that there are only a couple of good episodes

I’m from Brazil and I can’t find it on any streaming service, where can I watch it?

I am a huge fan of this podcast. They did a great job with Twilight Zone! Give it a listen.
