Say hello to the Big Smoke.

The second signature model for Coleman Weimer under our Monogram Line, the Big Smoke is a jumbo plastic organic that emphasises a flow and feel-based style of play. Its design philosophy follows Coleman’s first signature in the Smoke, but this really stretches physical boundaries in pursuit of that feeling.

SPECS
Diameter 61.7mm
Width 57.1mm
Weight 70.9g
Material Polycarbonate

Safe to say this doesn’t feel like anything we’ve made before.

today i offer you a rework of a 2017-ish trick, "my desk is already full of stuff, putting the coffee pot on the ground is the safest strategy". the angle needs some adjustments but i guess it kinda works ?

Finally got my hands on one! #51/72 produced. Pretty heavy presence on the string, but throws exactly how I thought it would, like a full size Executive. It came with some bearing blanks, I'm excited to rip some 0a with it 🥰 Here's a little wrist mount dgt with it.

BEGINNER Lesson learned

Post image

My young daughter got a cheap yo-yo and has been obsessed. I decided to get her a little better Duncan learning yo-yo and in the process found a cheap one for myself as I always wanted to learn as a kid.

I was having fun learning tricks with the responsive setup and decided to learn binding with the unresponsive setup.

Yanked that nail smooth off on the third try. Lesson learned for sure.

How to finish a wooden yoyo?

Thumbnail

Hi guys, I've been working on this wooden yo-yo on and off for the past week or so.

Its not perfect but I'm finally happy with the shape, but I'm still unsure how I want to finish it.

I don't think I want anything too shiny. I'd prefer a more natural, matte finish that feels nice in the hand.

Those of you that make wooden yoyos, anyone got any suggestions on what would work best?

Learn fixed axle 5A.

I was pleased with how much punishment the pine axle design took before it finally snapped.

The next one will have a walnut axle.

I'm also thinking of making one with a steel axle, but I'm not sure how well it will hold together on PLA.

I'm thinking my end goal should be to make a take-apart model
