Hi guys, I've been working on this wooden yo-yo on and off for the past week or so.

Its not perfect but I'm finally happy with the shape, but I'm still unsure how I want to finish it.

I don't think I want anything too shiny. I'd prefer a more natural, matte finish that feels nice in the hand.

Those of you that make wooden yoyos, anyone got any suggestions on what would work best?

im trying to learn fingerspin tricks but whenever i even try to put my finger on the yoyo it feels like my finger gets bounced around and the yoyo flies off im using a bimetal ascent so its probably not that
