Second time in a month this account has been targeted and I don’t expect this time for me to get appealed like last time. I really don’t understand how this company can be so bad at these things.

UPDATE: it just got disabled as I am typing this now.

I'm sure this will come as a surprise to no one but the help bot has been supremely unhelpful.

My account was suspended on September 22nd for a bollucks reason and a month later I've heard nothing. All linked accounts have also been disabled but the kicker is that I made an insta account 2 weeks before my suspension for posting new hobby progress and it is completely unlinked from my suspended account. The only slight possible link is that both have been logged into on the same device but have completely different emails and all. That got suspended despite not having been used since creation??! And that one didn't even provide a bollucks reason ... It provided no reason at all.

The help bot can't help with the account suspension details and can't connect me to a human agent and says I must log in to receive guidance on my account suspension through the help centre .... Just for me to log in to the help centre and then be unable to use the help bot because my account is suspended??!! Respectfully ... wtf.

I've appealed my original account suspension but still heard nothing and didn't receive any emails or text of a successful appeal submission. I've also used the bug submission trick and that's also been unsuccessful.

Has anyone got any advice on how to escalate the account suspension issue or is it just a matter of resigning to the fact that I'm never going to get my account back? Meta have banned thousands of people for nonsense reasoning due to their faulty ai and now just hide behind it like cowards. Honestly they need to buck up their game.

I'm new to threads. I decided to install it, because a lot of my friends are on there.

I replied to a few posts, nothing out of the ordinary.. Then all of my comments got deleted! One deleted comment said "I usually leave it at home. I don't really need it in a place where it would be embarassing" My comment got deleted while the original post was about how to hide a boner 😭 And I've seen people post comments about school shootings in America. How does this make any sense at all?

is this a common occurrence on threads?

On a long conversation, I'd like to switch between newest and most relevant replies. One order doesn't work for every thread

Just started using threads a few months ago and is there any way you can filter out all the Ai fake military profiles the app is becoming unusable to speak with real people with the ratio of the number of Ai botted accounts!

Anyone else have this issue too? If it's not the Ai military it's the Ai OF bots...

In the email I got, it just says 'doesn't follow our community standards' without giving any specific reason. Since my Threads account was unlinked from my Instagram, I can't log in to check the Account Status page either.

I Downloaded threads back in january 2026 and started seeing opportunities out their, I analyzed all the creators out their and build my own strategy and content system.

Tried posting valuable and viral content and then my audience started liking it and started appreciating my content. I crossed over 3700 followers mark and managed to achieve 50M+ views, i was under top 3 creators on the platform in terms of highest views at that time.

First i got shadow banned on my views and then my account got suspended for no reason, i appealed multiple times but got no replies.

Then I thought lets build another account! For few days it was totally normal my strategy was working again and great this time and after 20 days, after growing that account too, i got suspended again!

Now i think this platform is real and kind of asset to business owners but their restriction are too harsh.

I will try it again, if you have any suggestion for me that would help please let me know.

Okay this is driving me crazy. I just opened a Threads account with my Instagram account. I want to find the people that I’m friends with on Instagram here on Threads. I don’t see any way to do that. I seriously have to manually look for people? It never gave me any option to follow friends, it only gave me a list of influencer type of account accounts to follow that I might be interested in. I want to find my friends on here….

When the deletion or deactivation process asks me to create a password, it gives me an error regardless of what password I try. I have tried changing the password separately, but that doesn't work either.

I have tried this on my up-to-date iPhone 16 Pro, and my brand-new MacBook Air.

This has been a problem for months, and many other people are reporting the same problem. Meta - you need to fix this. It is illegal to keep us from being able to deactivate or delete our accounts because you are unwilling to fix it.

I haven’t been able to use Theads since last night. Everything is blank. My content, everyone else’s content, the feed wall won’t load.

It seems there’s an issue going on. A bug of some sort?

I’m not banned or suspended. I’ve gotten no notifications.

I have tried everything I can think of: logging out and logging back in, deleting the app, restarting my phone and downloading the app again, I've tied on different computers and phones, I have changed my Threads password separately from the deletion process, I've tried deactivating my account, reporting the problem to Meta...EVERYTHING!

When I try to go through the deletion menu in the accounts center, I get all the way to the point it asks me to create a password. No matter what password I put in, it gives me an error and tells me to try again. I've been trying for months, and I really think I’m going insane. It also won't accept a new password when I tried to change it separately.

How in the world do I delete this account, and why won't Meta fix the damn thing?!?

They tricked me! After my Sept 22 suspension I created a new account that was flagged shortly after and suspended. I forgot I had this account and I forgot about. Then last night I saw this email and was all excited until I see the account name and I’m like eff it all it’s not the account I wanted.

My Threads account is disabled, and I cannot even appeal. I was using it as usual, and then suddenly a window popped up asking me to provide a selfie to verify that I am not a bot. After I took and uploaded the selfie, the system disabled my account, even though I am Meta Verified and my Instagram works perfectly.

Has anyone had the same problem, and how did you appeal or solve the issue?

Months ago, my account hit a false age-restriction ban. I submitted my ID, was fully verified, and my main Meta account access was restored.

​However, Meta’s backend failed to clear the corresponding suspension on my linked Threads profile (@ariel.868). Now my Threads account is stuck in an "orphaned suspension" loop:

​In-App Error: Attempting to log in or post triggers a popup saying "We suspended your profile, ariel.868" for Terms of Service on age eligibility ("who can use Threads").

​Public Profile: Viewing my handle from another phone just shows a blank page with "Content not available".

​Accounts Center: Trying to reserve or sync my original username throws a "Username isn't allowed" error.

​I opened a complaint with the BBB, but Meta completely ignored the outreach until the BBB closed the file as unanswered. Automated Meta AI support just sends generic canned responses telling me to verify my ID again, which is already done and verified on the main profile!

​Has anyone successfully gotten a Tier 2 engineer or support agent to manually sync Accounts Center to clear a residual suspension flag like this? Or is filing a state Attorney General consumer complaint the only way left to get a human at Meta to fix it?

I'm not sure why they allow this but it's very easy to flag spam but they don't even have filter set up where the same kinds of posts are created continuously some with the same text some with the same image some with both click this link and watch all of the ones that are created today.

Anyone else get their Threads account banned for no reason? I started to grow a following so posted more but now it will be all deleted. Got this after I submitted phone number and selfie for review!

I got no ban reason or email. If you appealed, did you send it right away or wait a few days first?

Who knows what Google is sharing. But, for those still on it can they try it and see if it makes a difference? I’ve said it before it’s likely Google that’s still listening, not sure about meta.
