Following the recent 2026.32.7 firmware deployment, my 2021 Model Y experienced an internal hardware board fault during the update payload installation.
According to the official Toolbox diagnostic notes from service:
The car computer suffered a corrupted local cache during the firmware execution loop.
The failure point is documented as an internal damaged ethernet bridge between the gateway and autopilot processor inside the sealed casing.
Zero external wiring or physical harness damage was identified.
The issue resulted in non-functioning backup cameras and blank mirrors, logged officially as a Safety Critical Escalation.
Because rear camera visibility is a core component under federal FMVSS 111 safety regulations, documentation of OTA updates triggering hardware bridge failures is being submitted to the NHTSA for review (nhtsa.gov).
Sharing this diagnostic data for community awareness regarding HW3 silicon longevity during heavy firmware updates. Check your Toolbox logs if you experience similar camera disconnects following this update cycle.

Same for handicap sticker. I’m assuming just being a PA driver isn’t the same as being handicapped

I am so frustrated with FSD going under the speed limit for what I think is no reasonable reason. I’m talking wide open straightaways in ideal conditions with no cars in sight and it’s going 42 in a 50. I would use FSD way more often if I didn’t constantly have to use the accelerator to get it up to the speed limit over and over. It’s really an issue in NJ where everyone is in a rush and aggressive about it. This photo was snapped in hurry mode. I would prefer standard mode to go the speed limit. Is there a fix/hack for this?

I don’t ever confront people cause some people are crazy and it’s simply not worth it but after this we stopped at multiple red lights and this dude wouldn’t even show his face 😂. Any one else experience this, my first time

Tesla shared this new video showing off the Tesla Roadster UI. I really wish Tesla would bring something like this to their other models in the future. Obviously, it’s a bit exaggerated for the Roadster, but I think it would give the other cars a really nice Tron-like vibe. Maybe it’s just me, though. 😂

What’s the best solution for pre-refresh models - Specifically the Model Y.

We have a Model YL reservation for a red with white zen interior. The estimated delivery is November 15th - December 30th.

But we decided not to purchase the car. We thought her car now only has 6 month of warranty left. But we found out it has a year and a half of warranty left. So decided to not have another car payment for a year or more.

Is there anything I can do with this reservation?

That Model Y AWD/Performance is looking nice.. have never seen a car company do this so early before and offer way more than the buyout of the lease..

1) Low hanging fruit- Grok needs to be able to send and read text messages. If the Tesla basic voice command system can do this, there is absolutely no reason Grok cannot.

2) Grok needs to be able to remember conversation history. It’s frustrating when you are having a good convo with Grok and the session closes, connection drops or you want to follow up with the convo later.

I know Grok bot can probably do both but seems like basic features missing.

I just wanted to know any tips or tricks, how you guys like your Teslas, whether it’s a Cyberbeast or not doesn’t matter to me. Anything that you would recommend me to know? I dramatically look forward to saving on gas, and the acceleration is just incredible.

I ordered on 9/4 and got a vin very late last night (I live in and will pickup in KY). Oddly enough I didn’t get a text or a notification - I’ve just gotten in the habit of checking. I did get a random text about financing last night even though I’ve already done that step so maybe that was triggered by the VIN being assigned.. SOOOO EXCITED

I want the metric where not on the cybercab or the taxi service, but how many miles have been driven where people are just absolutely not paying attention, whether it's checking email or writing a Reddit post about wanting to know metrics, or watching a YouTube video, because that would tell us how many people aren't paying attention versus how many actual wrecks there are. I want that comparison.
