Hello folks. If you remember my username, I was the guy that ask for the community to provide anything they have on the game files for the purpose of archival.

I am burdened to say not only I have not received anything of the kind that may get the game back up. Some has offer to help, and I did reach out, but they haven't respond to me since. This kinda defeat me alil bit, and I got put pff for a while.

...Until recently. I'm sure you all know that AI reverse engineering is all the talk right now, and I shit you not, most of the games that I know and love that was shutdown, are now back on their feet again! Mighty Doom, Love Live, Minion Rush, Darkness Rises, Order & Chaos... what's stopping RTS from having that same fate, but only a zip folder away?

And so, I am now calling you a second time, to ask for anything that may help me to dissect this game, open it up, and see how it work so that we can all live together again.

I have also noticed that fan game (or personal project) have been brought up in the sub so I would like to ask these fellows just in case:

u/Existing-Pass3719, u/DiskSalt135, u/Vivid-Career7206, what do you say about us setting up a discord servers so we can share our findings together (if this post work out)?

By next week, I will upload another post showcasing that if you do have the game still installed ON ANDROID ONLY, you can learn how to find, zip, and extract the main obb file. By the word of u/LadyGeek-twd, it should sit around somewhere of 480-500mb in total.

And to u/Burlzy, I would really, really like to have that files that you still have on you, It would help me to an insane amount that I can't comprehense.

I'm working on reviving this game, and I need your help to bring it back to life.

I'm looking for old game files, including APK and OBB files. If anyone still has the game installed on their phone or has a backup of the original game files, please share them with me.

These files could be extremely helpful in the revival process. Even if you have an old version of the game, please don't hesitate to share it.

Current Development Progress

I'm currently working on building the Town, characters, and character animations, with the goal of preserving the original look, feel, and gameplay experience as closely as possible.

Battle System Demo

A demo of the battle system will be available for review starting this weekend, upon personal request.

One day I had an ad for this game. So I randomly downloaded it and suddenly was glued to it. I hadn’t even heard of the show or at least mentally registered it. But here I was just vibing and unlocking new characters to make a better team.. oh and the chat (in the uk) regularly had some weird guy who kept confessing to stealing underwear from women’s washing lines…. I think Glenn just died too during the time I was playing because everyone was talking about it and that’s when I found out it was a tv show 😂 I watched the show much later, enjoyed most of it but it got a bit boring toward last few seasons….
Anyway I wanted to redownload the game and find my account. But it’s gone…. Thanks to the people who made it fun and were friendly all those years ago and I hope the pant stealing man has found peace and stopped… oh and the American guy who kept sending pictures of a grill he got. I hope you stopped harassing women. And the rest of the people who were active in the community thank you

I believe all the former players still have ties to some members of their old faction—it's no different here in Brazil! Our faction, THE LAST SURVIVORS (ranked #6 in the last WoC), still keeps our group online and active. It's a shame we haven't yet found a game close enough to what TWDRTS was to get us playing together again; our former leader showed a preview of his personal project... what do you think?

I know it's probably just a coincidence, but isn't it kind of crazy? I mean the same purple outfit, She has gold rings, just like Mythic Trader's gold accessories as well and everything.

I took a long break from the game and decided you know what I wanna play the game today, so I check to see the notification when you load up why did they shutdown?

I remember first downloading this game with my older brother and his friend. I was maybe 12-13 at the time- it was during 5* Negans release I believe, the one where you had to collect Michonne/Glenn heads in order to redeem the guy. I remember getting my first ever 5 star, which was a fast Sophia, got in trouble since I was playing it in class but i was overjoyed regardless. I played the game religiously until the servers shut down and I’ve just felt empty ever since.

I never did spend a lot of money on the game, I was never in the best faction, never got the cool 5 war rewards. Even missed out on the 4\ Wendy shop glitch. By all accounts I truly never excelled in the game on a competitive level but I adored it beyond belief. collecting all of the telltale toons was a huge highlight for me as it’s my favourite game series of all time. I don’t think I’ll ever manage to move on from this game and all the memories it gave me but I’ll be here, holding onto hope that a miracle happens and they decide to restart. A pipe dream for sure but I don’t want to move on* 💔

Given the rebirth of FF Brave Exvius (a long standing and successful gacha), into FF Resonance, a single player RPG with all of the previous game assets, do yall think there’s any chance that Scopely or any other company would be willing to re-release this game as a single player? I personally wouldn’t mind paying for a new game and be able to access my fave character models again.

He mantenido el cliente del juego en mis dispositivos y, aunque los servidores oficiales ya no responden, el "alma" del juego sigue intacta en nuestros archivos. Mi objetivo: No busco un museo estático. Mi propósito es revivir el juego por completo, devolviéndole la vida a sus eventos, sus pases de temporada y la experiencia completa, manteniendo un espíritu de comunidad justa y sin ánimo de lucro. ¿Qué busco? Como Game Designer y responsable de este proyecto, aporto la visión, los archivos base y el plan de contenidos. Para que Woodbury vuelva a abrir sus puertas, necesito colaboradores técnicos (programadores o expertos en ingeniería inversa) que puedan ayudarme a construir un servidor "espejo" capaz de entender la arquitectura del cliente. El reto principal radica en trabajar con la serialización binaria MessagePack y replicar la comunicación de la API (Retrofit) para que el juego pueda conectar y procesar los datos correctamente. ¿Cómo participar? Countless of resources, refills, tokens etc. I had saved for months and I couldn't even get to use any of them. It felt like all that grinding and saving and patience went to waste. I couldn't even experience the joy of using my resources freely.

I think it was for the battle arena. you weren't allowed to use multiple of the same toon but people were.

I miss this game. drove me crazy sometimes.
