This comic is based off of two memes

Rain just saved her from a dangerous situation, but his only concern is asking, "Are you injured, Canary?"

When the shock hits and she faints, I loved drawing the contrast of him catching her. He has these massive, demonic hands and sharp claws, but he holds her face with so much care and innocence.

What are your favorite examples in media of huge, scary monsters being incredibly delicate with the humans they protect? Do you prefer when they are a bit clumsy, or when they are surprisingly tender like this?

Raise a few dead, get some candy.. what could go wrong

It is indeed his favorite little spoon.
So I started this series of monster pencil drawings a couple of months ago and I decided to start sharing some of them and a bit of the drawing process. I hope you enjoy it!

Here's another one, lol.

Hey, everyone! I finally got my cute Chibi Stroll Plush monster prototype in hand and am excited to announce that the launch campaign is now live and it open for just 20 days (since this posting). It would be amazing if you could help me, a small creator, out in supporting this fun project and picking one up. They are a great size and priced very reasonable ;-)

Here is a link to the unboxing video so you can see the size in comparison to me and my man hands, lol.

Thank you all so much.

In my comic, Atnomen, the monster is physically massive and intimidating (specially when angered), but carries a deep sense of self-loathing.

In this scene, he tries to push the human protagonist away, warning her that he's "nobody" and that his life isn't a happy story. But when she refuses to leave and kisses his hands as if they are pure, he melts.

I love exploring the trope where the terrifying creature is actually the one who is completely terrified/in need of emotional intimacy. ❤️
