General We got to lock in amigo
Alr don’t know why ppl are just not locking in and committing to the slaughter
Liek ppl we must lock in. We must serve the Emperor’s will. I have committed myself to 400 hours to this game.
And I have lost my visual potential to other games like Call of Duty ,Titan fall , war thunder. And may god forbid. For honor.
Games that I consider me a no life.
But my good friend, that is not the topic of the matter today.
All I gotta say. Why are we not committing to the slaughter?
Especially Vanguard players assault players and bulwarks
My good friends you are specialist. So be like it
Even if you yes you “VANGUARD” have a melta use it
This is not all players, but certain players, my good friends
Just lock in and commit to the slaughter it’s not that hard.
But my brother’s in faith, if we must see the compilation of our actions
Some of us don’t play our class we play the class, but we don’t play the way
And if I must, this is meant to snipers and heavy’s
But I foresee to you, my good friend this is not meant for certain of some of us.
But we for something very important. One has a heavy weapon and one can rush behind the enemy and just slaughter them in 22 seconds.
Are we in faith? Are they in faith?
But it is something we got to understand if we don’t lock it no one will.
Especially
In harder difficulties, like lethal and absolute
You see a minimal swarm coming towards you you decide to run this is not meant for everybody my good friends, but for certain for some of us, but please my brother lock in

Image/GIF Got Space Marine 2 on 75% discount, IM EXCITED!
I was very poor and i couldn't afford a pc or even a laptop when 2 was released, never played part 1, now i have a decent laptop to run it.
I mostly know about warhammer 40k through lore videos, the emperor's rise and the famous horus heresy. watched a lot of cutscenes of space marines part 1 and 2, the only thing i could afford back then.
I love salamanders so i definitely will pick the class with flame thrower.

Game Feedback Can my boy Sniper get the Occulus Bolt Carbine Saber?
Like the Bolt carbine is godtier on Sniper but It just feels weird playing a class called "Sniper" and using a close range full auto gun without a scope. At least the Occulus will feel more appropriate with the class's identity.
Plus I think the Occulus variant would be fun in conjunction with all of Sniper's damage perks.

General Are Saber catering to a much smaller percentage of the player base?
Back in February 2025 Saber confirmed that:
15% — of weekly active players play at least one Absolute match.
12% — of total daily playtime is spent on Absolute difficulty.
60% — average win rate on Absolute difficulty, compared with 50% on Lethal.
Presently in 2026 if I’m not mistaken, the success rate for Absolute difficulty is around 80%. However if we look at the stats, less than 20% of the player base were even engaging with Absolute which I think they “tried to” remedy a bit by locking cosmetics behind it (which people cheesed anyway).
So if Saber by their own admission can see the majority of the player base stick to lower difficulties then what is the idea behind constantly trying to force higher difficulty engagement? You’d think it would make sense to cater to the larger portion of your player base right? Capes got cheesed and now Lamenter armour is getting cheesed, that is a clear indicator Saber is seemingly out of touch.
Before you elitists go off on your “get good” rhetoric just keep in mind I only play Absolute and have NO PROBLEM with high difficulty games, I enjoy a “fair”challenge (grinding endlessly for hours isn’t a challenge fyi, it’s a chore). I’m simply able to see things from other people’s perspective and understand their frustration.

Tip/Guide Cloth colors
I dont know if this has been said yet so ill just put it here
The devs reverted the change that locked certain cloths from being colored like the black templar tabard, dark angel robs and some helmet hoods
Now, if u have a customization saved that existed pre fix as in saved while the colors were locked, they will still be locked when u go into your heraldry and attempt to change the color, u must delete the rule and re add the cloth to your color rules, this will unlock them again so u can change the color, otherwise it will be stuck scar white

General Operations not saving
I'm having problem with saving my game progress and I don't know what to do cuz all information online is conflicting. I don't have PlayStation Plus so I'm playing offline I played the game on Friday all of my progress was saved then I played again on Saturday that programs was not saved I don't know what happened. All my armory data and Cosmetics were lost.
Extra notes I've never had PS Plus. I've had this progression problem happen to me before at random I tried to switch to campaign mode to save data but I'm not 100% sure if that works

Fashion Marine Question
Which Pauldron suits my death watch champions of fenris assault? I’m stuck in the middle because they both look really good and mostly make sense lore wise. The only non lore accurate thing is the tribal marking on the charcharadons Pauldron but the teeth/claws and ropes make sense.

Forum Question Why does the House Legion have Terminator Armor and the Layists don't?
I don't understand why they did that. They made terminator armor for the Chaos Legion in the beginning, but not for the players. This is a big incident for me. Since they made the Chaos Legion mode out of loyalist assets. Why can't they do the same with armor? There you need to change the armor a little and insert their ready-made armor assets.
I also have an incident with a fist (melee weapon). Why can't they also change the model a bit and make power gloves like the emperor's? Well, also change the animations of the strokes. And make a heroic weapon out of it.

Game Feedback The devs are digging a Difficulty hole
With the recent events of ever ramping difficulty in the form of crucible I think i understand the problem that both the devs and community are experiencing.
I think it started with the chaos spawn, back when they were first released everyone was having major problems with parries and damage being dealt by them as well as stupid delays with attacks, devs did address this by lowering spawn rates but in game it felt like it had barely changed, although we do get the occasional complaint these days it seems everyone has adapted to the difficulty over time as they want to keep playing.
I think the same thing happened with absolute difficulty as players struggled to begin with adapted over the course of a few months and now thrive. Then stratagems, BS modifiers appeared so often before the devs reevaluated balancing and players trudged through complaining but still did it, then seige mode was reworked this is were i think the first instance of the devs being scared of making it too easy happened, when they nerfed enemy spongieness so high waves were easier this resulted in more players achieving higher waves and the next update they returned enemies to being bullet sponges again and then nerfed the economy in it through tech priests. This was the first instance where a vast majority of players simply couldn't adapt but I think sabre is scared that if they revert changes that players will complain its too easy now that they have adapted to their ridiculous difficulties.
We are seeing the same thing with crucible now aswell where they are overestimating player ability. Thinking once players overcome the challenge at the beginning it will become the norm for them but like hard seige I dont think its going to happen theres a limit to what the players and even the game engine can handle which we are seeing with over abundence of bugs and crashes, at some point soon they are going to need to revert the difficulty regardless of if some say its too easy now or not. Kinda rambling now but yeah they dug a hole that they are scared of backing out from i think because everyone kept adapting.

General Help with choosing what do to, regarding space marine 2
Okay so firstly hello guys and secondly i was wondering what your thoughts would be about my situation, so let me begin.
You could say that i am a bit in a pickle but that would be a overstatement.
What would be the problem and just me wanting to ask you guys some questions that i have is that i have been checking out space marine 2 a little and was thinking of getting it.
The issue would be that i am currently playing helldivers 2 and dont want to side line it but right now there is like a really good sale where the price of sm2 goes from like 80 dollars to 20 which is tempting me to buy it now because of how much cheaper it is.
So i got like 3 options, i could buy it now for the cheap price its at now and play it instead of hd2, i could also could buy it now and continue playing hd2 for maybe a couple of months and then play sm2 after that or skip buying sm2 now but instead gamble that it will get a sale similar to this one in the future.
Now where you guys come in is sharing your thoughts and opinions about the game, like:
how is it holding up?
is the combat good as good as i have seen?
how much customization is there?
how big of a repeatability is there?
i mean how fast does it get repetitive?
For a summary, i have been checking this game out and it looks like something that i would like, the sale is tempting me to buy it, the thing is that just dont want to sideline hd2 but neither do i wanna let sm2 sit and wait for a couple of months
Please note that i haven't played any warhammer 40k games nor have i been engaged in the warhammer 40k universe, i very recently joined this sub and all the gameplay and stuff i have seen from this game is just from videos on youtube and a little here on Reddit
All help is appreciated and you guys telling me the state of the game would be very helpful with making me make up my mind.
I also wanna say that the 20 dollar price isn't what is holding me back is that the game might sit untouched for a while or not live up to my exceptions.
But i will have to wait and see what you guys have to say
Edit: I forgot to say that i bought hd2 like 2 months ago
Edit 2: I also forgot to say that i am on ps5

Game Feedback Melee contested health regen
I never really played Assault/Bulwark other than leveling them to p4 and just now started to farm the 50 absolute cloak on Assault - so I never realized how much CH regen on melee weapons sucks.
It is so bad that they might not give any contested health at this point and it would not really make any difference.
Any charged thunder hammer hit should regen huge amounts of contested health when really it gives like 5%? Wtf? And other weapons are not really that much better.
So when playing a melee class I have to bring a secondary that has good CH regen or else I'm f***ed whenever there is no executable enemy around? Great.
PS: Why do classes that can't bring a primary at the very least get more ammo for their secondary and/or decent ammo regen perks (bulwarks auxiliary reload exists i know)? A single Zoan takes half of the ammo of a PP and that requires you to hit every single shot.

Gameplay Question Why doesnt the game display contested health and shields of teammates?
I mean, it would allow for better and smoother teamwork, and even with voice comms its hard to communicate this info as fast as it would need be, so why? is there a mod that does this? there could then also be a modifier where these are turned off one reason or another, but by default we should be able to see them imo

Gameplay Question Is the perfect parry timing different for bulwark?
I am a new player and I'm having a hard time parrying as a bulwark. It seemed much easier in the campaign. But in operations, whenever I press the block button my character just blocks with the shield and that's it. No follow up gunshot. Or sometimes I press parry but it's too late or too early. And the only other class I've used is tactical, and in that i can parry successfully somewhat consistently.
Can someone help me understand how to master parrying?
