I've spent the past few months looking for a nice tablet for gaming within that price bracket yet i still cannot find it. All I see is scammers and over-priced stuff. Please help me. My wants are:

1. At least 128GB storage and 6GB of RAM. I do want 8GB tho 🥴.
2. Preferably Snapdragon with an Adreno chip so i have a broader scope of emulation. I can settle for a Helio G99, though. I know they won't be powerful either way.
3. 9-ish inches of size.
4. At least 5500mAh battery.
5. I don't care about duel speakers, good cameras, gorrila glass protection, or anything the doesn't significantly correlate to gaming.

I plan to everything from SNES up to PS1 and some android gaming.

I was planning to get the Samsung a9 with 128GB+8GB from Nova but come to find out they didn't have it in storage???

I'm located in Dakar btw

Thank you

EDIT forgot to say an okay screen. i don't mind a 720p one

Hey everyone😊 do you guys know any fun book clubs in dakar? Or interested in forming one?

Salaam everyone. I'm interested in purchasing an apartment in senegal.. it would be VEFA so you pay as they build over a few years. My question is, is it normal for contracts to be so one-sided. I asked to see a draft and there's no mentioning of Garantie Financière d'Achèvement and it says my apartment could be 5% less than I agreed to but no mentioning of a refund for any meter square lost.. there's other small things but now I'm wondering what should actually be in the contract to protect myself.

I understand a little of how things work but the american in me would never sign it if this was a US project lol.. any guidance is appreciated.

Hey 29M Australian English speaker (very small French to get around).
Keen to go out to a bar, dance a bit and meet some people tonight in Dakar.
I’ve heard Almadies like cosmo, but when I was there yesterday evening like 8pm it seemed really really quiet.
Is it not the right spot to go out? Or was it just a Thursday or too early?
Appreciate any help, been here for 2 weeks and it’s been a beautiful county ❤️

Hi everyone, I’ll be traveling to Dakar soon and just realized the AFCON qualifier match days 3 and 4 will take place during my trip. Does anyone know how I can get a ticket for the Senegal vs. Sudan game? What’s the best website or is it better to purchase a ticket in person at the stadium? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There Will Be Time - A song by Baaba Maal and Mumford and Sons has two verses in Pulaar.

The translations I have found online for these verses don't make any sense with how the lyrics are sung/written out, and none of what I have found show how the translation lines up with the original verse/lines of the lyrics, which is something I would really like to see to understand the phrasing pattern better.

Could someone help me out with this? I would sincerely appreciate it.

Here are the lyrics:

Verse 1

Heto mi halanma
Mine waddimi yiddema
Ko ane tane holimi
Holimi ko ndjidirmi o Dunne Dunne
Hum hum waddimi yidde

Verse 2

Humm ko ane holimi
Koliyo ngopei ndjoukirade
Hasidagal modiani
Waddimi yiddema
Waddimi yiddema
Mine waddimi yiddema
Ko ane tane rokimi
Ko nanei nanei nanei nanei nanei mi waddno
Ko jonni jonni jonni jonni jonni mi watti
Ko jonni jonni jonni jonni jonni mi watti

Thanks in advance.

Hello I will be departing from Janjanbureh Gambia on 27 October. I want to see Kumpo in Casamance if a village will have it. Does anyone know anywhere in Casamance I can see it between 27 October and 2 November?

Thank you.

Merci d'avance.

I have a smart tv that stopped working 2-3 years ago. We havent tried to repair it so I don’t know what the issue is. Is there a way to sell it ?

Hello everyone,

I'm based in Morocco and looking to establish long-term B2B partnerships with importers, wholesalers, distributors, and food trading companies in Senegal.

I'm exploring opportunities to supply Moroccan agricultural products, particularly:

- Fresh potatoes

- Fresh onions

- Other seasonal vegetables, depending on availability

I'm interested in connecting with businesses that import vegetables in bulk or supply wholesale markets, supermarkets, restaurants, and food distributors.

If you're an importer or know a reliable vegetable wholesaler in Senegal, I'd appreciate your advice or the opportunity to connect.

Please feel free to comment or send me a private message to discuss product availability, quantities, pricing, and shipping arrangements.

Thank you!

Hello!

I (34m American) will be staying in Dakar for two weeks in early November. I’m overlanding to South Africa via public transport and will stop in Dakar to secure a couple of visas.

I spent a month in France studying French (got to ~A2 level), and am now looking for someone who isn’t French to spend 5-7 hours per week just speaking with. It’s my understanding that the accents in West Africa are quite different than what I was exposed to in France, so this would just be casual conversations about the topics I will need as I make my way further south to tune my comprehension.

I’ll plan to pay someone for their time and would be open to other arrangements - shared expertise that I might have, paying for dinner/drinks or activities while we chat, etc. Would love to hear some ideas about what a fair rate would be for this kind of help as well.

DM if interested or if you know someone who might be. Thanks!

Edit: I think I've found someone. Thank you for your interest everyone!

Anyone travelling over new years from 26 Dec - 4 Jan?

Looking for a travel buddy

There's an amazing Senegalese restaurant in New Brunswick, Canada 🇨🇦

It's called Food by Fatou and she was the first person to bring Senegalese cuisine to this province! She is a wonderful person, so I just wanted to give a shoutout to Fatou. Visit her whenever you're on the East Coast of Canada

Merci

Hello, I hope you're all doing well.

So...while I'm traveling, I usually like to recreate local desserts from the country I'm visiting. For that, I always make sure that the Airbnb I plan to stay in has proper baking utensils. So far, my searches have been unsuccessful because local Airbnbs tend to have the bare minimum. Could you help me find accommodation with these features?

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I’m new to Senegal and lost my glasses a few days ago. My insurance requires a physical prescription from an ophthalmologist. Does anyone know a good ophthalmologist or area where i can get a prescription near Point E or Mermoz, and how much a consultation and prescription would cost? Thanks!

Assalamu aleikum everyone!

I just felt like sharing this short clip from a video my friend made. He's very talented and passionate about technology.

Here's the link to the full video subbed both in French and English.

Not sure if I used the correct flair or not, but I chose "News" because the video displays how well prepared and secured Dakar is for the Youth Olympic Games.

Thank you!

How can i find people to rent a pitch and play football ?
