It’s finally over
galleryI was worried I wouldn’t get to apply Early action and would need to take the Nov SAT for a better math score, but now I can disregard this mfing test.
Thank you everyone who gave advice, thank you everyone who believed in me.

I have a confession
I have taken the SAT three times I’m taking it again in November for the fourth time in a goal to reach 1550+ which I know is possible.
That is not the point of this post, though I just wanted to tell you guys that whenever I do take this test, I get in immense amount of happiness that courses through my veins. It’s like an all-time high every time I finish that last module I cannot explain the absolute ecstasy that flows through me whenever I step in a testing room.
and I do mean this from the bottom of my heart I love this test so much and it’s truly a terrible thing for me to know that November will officially be my last one.

someone said that he will report me
some anonymous said that he will report me and send me fake screenshots where i said " i cheated on the sat and got 1530". Also he knows my full name, and testing center where i took the sat. So probably he knows me in real life. What should i do?

is a 1510 superscore enough to overshadow a 600 R&W?

alr guys so i took the sat 2 times and in each of them i fumbled one of the sections pretty hard.
Now, I don't like each of the scores standalone (especially with the 600 R&W) but I feel like the 1510 superscore is really freaking good.
Either way, my question here is if having this 600 R&W thing can really hurt my application or if my 1510 superscore can make up for it

Do you usually talk about a high score?
I have an assignment in my sociology class and had an idea about this so please humor me, I’m seeing if I can write about this. This is highkey the only place with a surplus of 1500s
For people with a high score, say 1500+, do you bring it up in conversation? Like if the convo gets to SAT scores do you say it? Or do you hesitate to share it? Is there any pressure to fit in with others/act humble or are you happy when SAT gets mentioned because you can share your score? Or if it’s something else please share your thoughts
Also if you’re ok with it can you say if you’re in high school or college? Don’t have to tho, I just wanna see if there’s differences

my score dropped 90 points
i got a 1500 on my september sat and i was pretty happy (710/790 split) but i wanted to get a higher verbal score and hopefully a 800 on math.
i rly dont know what happened to my october sat but my score dropped 90 points to a 1410 (660/750). ive genuinely never gotten this bad of an english score ever even on practice tests so i was rly shocked. i didnt even know this was possible?? i mean i was kind of sick and i rly didnt feel well. i had lots of tests that week so i averaged like 4 hours of sleep everyday so would that have contributed to my drop in my sat score?
what should i do for my november sat? im a junior btw so i have some time but the 90 point drop was just unbelievable. even math too. i would get 780-790 before but i only got a 750 so everything doesnt make sense for me rn. any ideas on what i should for my november sat?

680 to 760+
Hello guys, I’d like to ask a rather interesting question. I took my first and only SAT on last September, got 1480 (680 in R&W, and 800 in math). I prepared all on my own using Khan academy, Bluebook and YT.
I’m in a rather pickle situation, I’m from Mongolia and 12th grade. I’m aiming for local university in mechanical engineering major. For that EYESH (it’s like china’s gaokao but way and way less pressuring, but similar in a way that it determines your future) I need to take Math, English, Physics, and Mongolian language. For the math, it’s already settled cuz i can equate my SAT score, for the English, I need to score perfect 800on the EYESH, or get 760+ on SAT R&W. (Physics and Mongolian language are okay, I’m quite confident in them)
So the question is, can I improve my R&W score to 760 and above while preparing till March SAT?
If possible then any advice?
I’d appreciate any help and advice.

Should i retake the sat
i got a 1480 on the october sat, i wanted a 1500 or more but im not that dissapointed. Im not sure if that extra 20 points is worth the time spent studying for it, how big of a difference would those points make?

Need advice on whether I should take an ACT or SAT next.
Hey guys, I just wanted some guidance on which test I should take next because I don’t want to keep taking so many tests. Context: I scored a 1490 on my first SAT(750 E, 740 M) and a 1480(760 E, 720 M) on my second attempt, meaning I have a 1500 super score. I am decently confident I can improve my math score a little through studying, I just had a bad performance on my second sat. At the same time, however, I took the PreACT in 9th and 10th grade and got perfect composite scores. In terms of the scores I would want, I would want 1530+ SAT and a 35+ ACT. What would be the best option for me to take for my next test, a third SAT or an ACT?

Should I retake?
fyi, this is my 2nd attempt and I got 1480 (780 M, 700 RW). My first one was 1370 (700 M, 670 RW)
So I was just wondering whether is it worth it to retake

Need tips for second attempt,
So I had given SAT on 3rd Oct and got 1260 which is way less than scores I see here. I want a 1550+ so I havr decided to apply for the 7th Nov one ans have few days left to practice so how do I even approach it? From where to practice questions most effectively?

Should I retake SAT - International Student

Hello, I took the SAT as north African 4 languages speaker (english is my fourth). I got 1420, with 750 Math and 670 RW. I want to apply for MIT and ivies for the financial aid they offer. I want to major in AI and CS. I have AI Olympiads. Should I retake? What score should I have? Can I apply with this score if I face challenges retaking?
Thanks
Tips Appreciated
galleryi took the sat for the first time in october and i got a 1350. i pretty much expected that score so im not feeling too disappointed about it because i received a score that i deserved for barely studying. however, i did have a lot of issues with time management in the reading module 2 section where i had like 3 minutes to complete 7 unanswered questions and 5 others that i marked for review. in math, there were a lot of dumb mistakes i made that i realized after the test, most of which were things i knew how to do. because of my poor time management in the reading m2 section, i had to guess a majority of my answers and im surprised that i scored higher than i thought in the RW section. however, i am still hunting for that 1500+ so i need tips on how i can study effectively while still doing well in school. prior to the test, i was trying to do a practice test like a week before the SAT and doing the question bank while watching james lu (which i dont think i fully 100% understood). there was very much minimal studying being done. i feel like i still have time since im a junior, but everything is moving so fast so im afraid i wont be able to get the score i want. please let me know!
